The teas are good but the App & rewards could be a lot better. Either glitches with their scan code or staff entering in phone number and saying o got points but it doesn't reflect. So because of that, I usually go to stores with better customer loyalty programs for my boba addiction. Prob should cut the boba all together

We decided that this sounded good after having dinner. I took mine home, because I needed a free hand. It was really good, but the only thing that I didn't like was, they don't put the sweetener in the tea, but it seems that it's in the fruit that they put in. I like mine better with sweetener in the tea itself. It was hard to get mixed in, even by shaking it, and parts of it were sweeter than others, no matter how long I shook it. All in all though, it was pretty good. I had the peach oolong punch.

Loved Kung Fu tea. The shop has a really nice, calming ambiance and it's immaculately clean. Excellent bubble tea! Fast service if you order through the app - I got a less sweet malted black tea and it was really good.

We have been to this Kung Fu Tea at least 20 times. They are very consistent with good tea. No one does it like Kung Fu Tea.

We have been coming here ever since they opened. Their employees are always so nice, and have made some great suggestions. My husband loves their S'mores slush, and son loves the Pina Colada flavor slush with the boba in it. I am a traditionalist, and love their Taro flavored slush. I have tried other boba places around this area and Austin, and I would say this place is one of my faves. I would actually prefer to drive here than go to Number One Boba, because Kung Fu has more flavor and quickly gets orders out accurately. Keep up the good work, and we will keep making this place our number one boba location.

Latte with some extras! They are very accommodating.

Decided to pop by Kung Fu Tea in Cedar Park as I didn't want the usual Starbucks. Was pleasantly surprised honestly. Their drink menu is absolutely huge. Everything from smoothies to boba varieties (Like the popular brown sugar style) to coffee. Was early in the morning so I was craving something a little custom. So I asked for a large latte with Boba added for some hybrid flavors. Was wondering if they'd accommodate a wierd request but they were super friendly! They have cool machines in the back that shake up your drinks for a perfect blend. The drink? It was surprisingly good coffee. Its rare to run into places where you can taste the coffee beans clearly. And with the boba it added a pleasant twist to the usual iced coffee. Overall was a great product at a reasonable price. Can't wait to try out some of their other goodies!

OBSESSED. We LOVE this place. The service is always friendly, knowledgeable and quick. There's a good amount of seating and we can usually find a spot on a weekend afternoon. The milk teas are so good. Our favorite is the winter melon milk green tea (so refreshing) and the roasted chestnut milk tea. (The roasted chestnut is seasonal, but it's phenomenal. There are tiny roasted nut pieces at the bottom of the drink.)The Thai milk tea is also very good, but it tastes like chai to me, I can taste much difference. Highly recommend.

Our three smoothies. S'mores is on the left. So dang good!!!

We have been coming to Kung Fu Tea for several years now. It is part of my son's DNA. He. Loves. This. Place! The staff is always so friendly and have smiles on their faces. The menu is also expansive and everything we have tried over the years has been so very tasty. This trip we settled on a taro smoothie, pina colada and a s'mores smoothie. Holy cats, the s'mores smoothie is amazing. Crushed graham crackers at the bottom with thin ribbons of marshmallow and chocolate. I have had many smoothies here and this is by far my favorite. If you haven't tried Kung Fu Tea, you are honestly missing out.

Wintermelon green tea (left - large) and honey milk tea (right - medium)

Located in a very convenient area - right next to a big shopping center (The Parke). We attended their first grand opening day and got their buy one get one free promotion on a list of selected drinks. We got 2 Kung Fu oolong milk tea, 1 honey black milk tea, 1 honey green milk tea, 1 passion fruit green tea, and 1 wintermelon green tea - all with 30% sugar and less ice. Kung Fu oolong milk tea - Just ok to me. The drink is a bit too creamy and thick. Not sure what kind of creamer they use or if they use too much creamer, but after I finished the drink, there was a thick layer of creamer around the cup, which didn't happen at other milk tea chains, like Gong Cha and Sharetea. Honey black milk tea - I'm not a big fan but my husband likes it. It has a floral taste to it like rose milk tea or a floral milk tea than a honey milk tea. It has a little bit of honey taste after you sip, but it's not a honey milk tea that I'd imagine. Honey green milk tea - Much much better than honey black milk tea for some reason. It has less floral taste to it - not sure why. Passion fruit green tea - Very very good. I love the awesomely sweet and tangy passion fruit flavor and the strong green tea taste. It's such a great drink with 30% sweetness. Wintermelon green tea - Very good. With 30% sweetness, the tea flavor is strong which I love. It has a great mix of green tea and wintermelon tea. Sweetness and ice level - If you don't have a big sweet tooth but still want to enjoy the drink with a hint of sweetness, go for 30% sweet. If you like sweeter drinks, do 50% sweet but I would not recommend going high than that. Asking for less ice doesn't seem to make a difference. The less ice level looks similar to regular. Their staff was nice and brought our drinks to our table instead of calling our number/name of the order. I guess it wasn't crowded so they served that way. The store was spacious, nice and clean with simple decor and good lighting. It has good milk tea smell when you first walk in. Pricing: For their milk tea and other fruity tea, it's similar to other places. However, I notice their milk cap drinks are way too expensive. Their matcha milk cap is more than $6 while a matcha milk with the famous milk foam at Gong Cha is about $5. Overall, Kung Fu is ok. I'm impressed with their fruity tea drinks. As a MILK tea addict I'm married to Sharetea and Gong Cha in North Austin area.

TLDR; GREAT BOBA TEA & STUDY ATMOSPHERE Found this KF Tea randomly and decided to stop here and study. The boba was bomb (per usual) and the atmosphere is perfect for studying.

We were so excited to know there is a location closer to us. The oolong is my husband's go to. My kids split a strawberry and cream slushie and they split the drink into.2 cups for them. Excellent all around.

This is a pretty good tea stop. Only reason for 3 star is at how slow the service is. I typically order the strawberry lemonade tea.

We made the drive up north to try it before they close since they carry some Vietnamese snacks that are hard to find in Austin. Their menu is extensive covering drinks, desserts, and snacks so it took us a while to decide on our order. All their drinks are lactose free which was great to hear. The staff was nice but it did take a while for everything to come out. Peppermint Pandan Latte / Sam Dua Bac Ha ($6.95) + Crystal Boba ($0.95): We got this at 75% sweet and it was delicious. You can distinctly taste both the peppermint and pandan and it was really refreshing. Matcha Lover ($8.75): We got this at 75% sweet as well. It is a matcha latte with matcha foam, matcha pudding, and matcha mochi. We were not huge fans of this one. The foam was really thick and creamy which made it hard to mix, and the drink had a strange taste that we think came from the flour on the matcha mochi. I think it would have been better if we had eaten the mochi off the top first before mixing everything together. Popcorn Chicken ($8.75): This was okay. They used a different type of batter than what I am used to and it was pretty bland. I didn't like the chili dipping sauce either. Taiwanese popcorn chicken is still way better to me. Mixed Soft Rice Paper With Full Topping / BT Phoi Suong Full Topping ($14): This was our first time having banh trang tron with dried meat and seafood toppings. It also came with a sliced hard boiled egg instead of quail eggs. Very interesting and different. I really wished it came with tamarind sauce because that was the one flavor I felt was missing and would have tied everything together. The portion size also felt a bit small for the price.

So, if a drink needs to be steeped, they will wait until every drink in front of it has been finished to even start the 5-10 minute steeping process, instead of starting to steep the leaves while they work on blended drinks. Three employees wander around aimlessly while dozens of people wait for a single, simple drink. Most other boba places are able to get drinks out within a minute or two. What is your excuse? There is truly no reason for a single milk tea to take 30 minutes. Fix your training. EDIT: In response to the owner, I do understand that popularity will slow things down, but that wasn't what I was observing. It was a steady trickle of guests coming in every few minutes, and it seems like the crowd was created from congestion of orders stacking up at a higher rate in than they were going out. Orders were only being handed out every several minutes, and while I have also worked in food service/retail and understand having to take breaks and slow down sometimes, the employees seemed like they were just meandering about without a care in the world. I'm truly not sure why, at the very least, steeping wouldn't be started early. I go to a lot of boba places, and I've had many good friends who work (or worked) at boba places, even if I have not directly worked at one myself. The employee behavior was not like anything I've ever seen before.

I went for their Lychee Green Tea and P2 ordered their Uber Smoothie. It didn't take too long for our drinks to come out, around 5-7 minutes. We were seated on some comfy chairs, and the bobarista served our drinks to us. I think presentation-wise, they did a good job. They claim to have "beverage aesthetics" and I tend to agree. Does having good "beverage aesthetics" make a drink taste better? No, definitely not. We both thought our drinks weren't too bad, however. I had ordered my drink with 0% sugar but I added boba to mine. My drink also already came with lychee coconut, so the two toppings sweetened my drink naturally. P2 complained that her drink was still too sweet for her liking. We appreciated the service and the pleasant ambience inside. I took off a star because the drinks were just too expensive. So that being said, they only had one flavor that I could try at the time I did appreciate that they had a laminated sheet of paper that listed all of the allergens and all of their flavors, so anyone that had an allergy could quickly see which flavors they could try and which ones they should avoid. During my visit, I ordered their mint basil sorbet which was very good. At five dollars per scoop, it's definitely on the pricier side. However, the ambience inside this ice cream shop was nice and I could see myself hanging out here socially if they had more dairy free options. But overall, I had an okay experience here. I don't think I've ever seen a Malaysian coffee drink ever offered in any other boba place, so this place stood out for me. When I came in on a weekday, it was dead quiet. It will be great if the store played some music to make it a more welcoming place. I can imagine this becoming very popular with the tween and teenage crowds over the weekends. I don't suggest bringing your kids under 5 in here, they are going to want to touch everything, and because of the limited space, I imagine this can be really stressful for parents. Personally, I think this place has way too much stuff for people to want to hang out there.
