Took our granddaughter this afternoon and she rated their mangonada as the best she has ever tasted. Their mangonadas never disappoint and definitely are the best ever. Service was quick and order of four items was correct. The location is small and always clean. read more

Where have you been all my life?! Not sure how I didn't know about this place before, but I'm in love now. They make their own ice cream and popsicles!! We asked a customer what was the best and he said the coconut popsicle -- the one made with milk rather than with water. That sounded great, but instead I ordered one scoop each of the cookies & cream and the coffee ice cream on a waffle cone. Heavenly! My friend ordered a scoop each of butter pecan and strawberry. He said they were fantastic. They offer a wide selection of ice cream and popsicle flavors. According to the menu on the wall, they also serve other food items. We will return! read more

It's an acquired taste. Litzy's a fun little shop that's tucked away off I-35. Here you'll find some unusual flavors not found by like's of Baskin Robbins or even Ben & Jerry's. They've got these sweet and spicy flavors that you just don't see in White America. There are popsicles called something like "paletas" which include pineapples and cucumbers but spiked with jalapeño chilis. It's orange and red and yellow. Not exactly cookies and cream (along Litzy's has that too). Each lick makes you pucker and cringe. Like I said, it's an acquired taste. Sweet and Sour takes a whole new meaning at Litzy's. Me and my family love this place! They have a super wide variety of Mexican Popsicle's and agua frescas and horchata that is on the money. They also have a good variety of ice cream so a group of people can be satisfied. My favorite is watermelon and cantaloupe Popsicle's and they are all real fruit. My wife loves the coffee pop. All my family love love the horchata. Prices are great, but bring cash. That is all they take right now. It is a growing business, and hopefully they are here to stay. Me and the family will do our part to get our cold Mexican treats here. Great news they do take credit/debit cards now. read more

UPDATE: Tried their new flavor, buttered pecan. One of my latest favorites. Sometimes I'll order it over chocolate & for a chocoholic that's saying a lot. I typically enjoy the flavor of buttered pecan ice cream but get turned off by the whole (or big chunks) of pecans in most brands. First of all I don't like ice cream that have nuts because I feel like they take away from the whole ice cream enjoyment experience. BUT at this ice cream shop the pecans are CHOPPED!!! So instead of the nuts getting in the way, they really add to the ice cream flavor. Also, just a little bit of caution. There are different workers sometimes that scoop the ice cream so the portions may vary. But I don't complain because it is still $1.50!! But when the actual owner scoops you definitely feel like you're getting a sweet deal. read more

I love this place. I find myself going at least two or three times a week now to get one of their delicious drinks. They make homemade traditional Mexican drinks like horchata and Jamaica and some other amazing flavors like strawberry and coconut. The coconut by far is my favorite, it has little chunks of fresh coconut in it that you sip up while you drink it and it's pure heaven. I tried the cup of hot corn with chili and lime and it was sooo good. The ice cream is super good too. I've only tried the chocolate and the lime but they are both great. I saw he had one that was corn flavored and some kids were raving about it in there. The prices are excellent and everything is pretty much homemade which is awesome. Everything reminded me of visiting small ice cream parlors in Mexico on vacation. It's worth going and taking the kids. read more
