They gave me spicy, mild, and queso ! They were all spot on. The food is set at a really good price. I ordered the fajita chicken chimichaunga with refried beans and rice. My chimichaunga was really good, it got soggy after awhile. Usually that doesn't happen to me. Next time I will get the shredded chicken instead. The taste was flavorful and it was cooked well. This restaurant has a very family friendly atmosphere that I loved. This will be my new spot when I'm craving Mexican food!

Food was entree each of us and appetizer to share, all presentation and taste was top notch, my mocktails were delicious. Location is right by the square, this is a gem :)

The portions are huge, and we almost always have enough leftovers for lunch the next day. You can see by the photos we've tried just about everything aside from the American food on the menu, and it's been consistently good. The only dishes we wouldn't order again are the ceviche, and I do wish their house salsa had more heat. If you like spicy salsa, you may find it a little mild. Overall, Dos Salsas is one of the better Tex-Mex restaurants in the area. I'd take it over Chuy's any day. Great portions, dependable food, and excellent value keep us coming back.

The seasoning was on point and adding the red salsa to it gave it an amazing kick. Love it!

There were two salsas with the chips and they were yummy. We both ordered the cheese enchilada with carne guisada plate which included rice and beans. I really enjoyed my plate although the carne guisada could have had more spices. My fiancé asked for some green sauce on his enchiladas; however, he said he didn't like it. There were a lot of weekly bar specials if you like cocktails. The service was quick and friendly. We would go back and try some other dishes.

Here's a cleaned-up Yelp version that keeps your tone:…read more We stopped in for margaritas and guacamole after getting a massage nearby. The staff was super nice and attentive, and the prices were reasonable. Unfortunately, the food and drinks were just really basic. The chips were okay, the guacamole was bland, and the margaritas were nothing special. For a Mexican restaurant, everything just felt a little boring and seemed more like bulk-purchased ingredients than something made fresh or unique. I really wanted to like this place, especially because the staff was great, but based on what we had, it was just too basic for us to come back.

I mentioned to my wife that these kinds of places often have kitchens and boy we were in luck. The man in charge, Albert, descended on us and started simultaneously asking what we wanted to order AND praising the virtues of his tamales, among other things. But he had me at "Birria". After being introduced to birria tacos by my lifelong friend, Joel, I have been a huge fan ever since. So we called an audible and decided to get an order for takeout (Albert could convince you to buy anything, I think). We got two orders of Corn QuesaBirria Tacos and the Jalapeño Popper Specialty Taco. Both were great and I especially liked the Birria Tacos, even eating my wife's portion... "You going to eat that?" Outside of the corner kitchen, convenience store is great, with all of the different varieties of foods, beers and other items that you would expect at Mexican convenience store.

The restaurant has many tables and there's enough room around the tables so one can talk comfortably without being overheard, I like that. There's plenty of room around the tables for a wheelchair and it's easy to get through the restaurant with a wheelchair, which is nice. The bathroom has railings on both sides so a person in the wheelchair can get in and out easily. There's handicapped parking right in front. My mother's in a wheelchair, so this is very helpful for me. The food is really good. The chips and salsa are great! The coffee and tea are wonderful. I just can't say enough nice things about this restaurant. I'll be back on Sunday!

This is a very scenic and modern upscale restaurant near the heart of downtown Georgetown. The interior is nicely appointed and understatedly elegant. The inside and outside restaurant and bar areas are expansive but easily outstrip the provided parking. There is also street parking nearby, but don't be surprised if you wind up walking from nearby public lots or garages. I can easily see this place being packed. We had a reservation and were promptly seated and offered water service. As with most Mexican restaurants, there's an expansive menu, so we ordered drinks while we perused the menu. I found the Encantada margarita to be quite tasty, but it was a bit expensive. At $11 for a single serving with house liquors, closer to what we've come to expect locally for a Mexican martini (theirs was $18 with house, $24 with call). That's a bit over-the-top IMHO. We were offered complimentary chips and salsa; I remember the chips to be excellent, and the red salsa just right for my taste, but others remarked that it was too spicy. Our waitress (Paulina) joked that the only thing less spicy was their ketchup. They also have a green salsa, which is even spicier, but that we all skipped. The food menu has a lot of chef-inspired offerings. I tried the Grilled Chicken Tacos (Grilled Chicken, Cilantro, Onion, Fresco Cheese) at $16. I had one on flour and one on corn to taste the difference in tortillas with the same ingredients, along with a side bowl of black beans. I found them flavorful but also on the small side for the price. Additional tacos are $5 each. No rice was offered. This was one of their least expensive plates. We had a great time and our drink and food service was nothing less than excellent, but I couldn't help but come away feeling that, for a check that tabbed in just under $100 (with tip) we should have had a fuller tummy. Would we come back? Maybe. We'll have to explore their other options and perhaps graze more off the appetizer menu; however, less than $5 separate most of their appetizers from their plate dinners. This is a place to go for a culinary and visual experience, not an everyday meal.

Food was served very quickly & it was very fresh and had good flavor. In my opinion, the birria Tacos were not served to do the delicious meat any justice. It was more like plopped wet on the tortillas with the juice. They are not doing the meat justice by serving it this way instead of doing it with the birria & cheese seared into the tortilla then adding cilantro and onions like I've seen at every other place. It makes it taste so much better when it's not wet, but cooked into the taco and you're able to dip it into the consommé. It was a bit overpriced in my opinion. $56 for what you see in the pictures. Chorizoqueso and chips, beef taco plate that does not have any sides, 2 plates of Two à la carte tacos, a Dr Pepper and two glasses of beer.
