Ordered a breakfast taco and a variety of their baked items. The churros were delicious and crispy with the right amount of cinnamon and sugar. The fills one has a pudding in it while the unfilled has a nice, soft interior. The breakfast tacos were large and the eggs tasted fresh. The bacon strip was good, albeit not crispy. The salsa was fresh although not very spicy. I would definitely go back and am excited to try the cookies and croissant I bought. Service was fast and efficient, plus I saw an online order pick up area. Lots of parking and easy access to/from i35. Great stop for travelers or locals wanting a bite. I would rate this place better if they got our order right. This morning we ordered breakfast food to go online. Picked it up which was all good. There were supposed to be two tacos with potato's neither had potato's, I mean both of them were potato and egg tacos that we added cheese and bacon to. Instead we got one bacon cheese and egg taco and another bacon and egg. In general, those tacos were also nothing to rave about. I did order a migas and à la Mexican taco and those were good. I recommend the La Mexican as the one to get tho! Aw man, this place is great! Our friends recommended this spot and encouraged us to go for breakfast/brunch and we are so glad we did! My husband is from El Paso and so expectations were high! Right when you walk in you're welcomed by the friendliness and hospitality of a family business. Love how cozy it is and it definitely feels like you're in El Paso for sure with the decor and all. I almost ordered the menudo, but opted for the chilaquiles plate instead. No regrets. I enjoy my chilaquiles with a nice kick of spicyness served with an over easy egg on the side and it exceeded my expectations. The chilaquiles were nice and crispy and that sauce held the perfect level of spice. What's cool is that the menu tells you what's in the sauce as well, and you get the choice to pick which one you want. Overall I enjoyed my meal, reminded me of home, and I can't wait to be back. I wish they served freshly squeezed juice and also we had some sweet bread to go and it wasn't all that. Love the tostadas, tamales and salsa here. This is all I've really eaten because they're so good I don't venture off. Tamales are great to pick up by dozen for quick dinner when you don't want fast food. Good selection of Mexican desserts as well. Inside cut use some reno but it doesn't keep the food from being great. Good breakfast tacos too. I visited today to have the menudo on a cold day. I was extremely looking forward to it. When I ordered the regular bowl, $14.00. All I got was pure liquid broth soup, less than a handful of the hominy, and cut tripe. Very disappointing and unsatisfied. Pure rip off. I will never come here again for the menudo. Service and ambiance were great! I don't know if this was just a bad day in the kitchen or new cook, but food needs a lot of improvement. Chips are good, salsa had an odd taste and had no salt, none. Enchiladas Rojas - tortilla was barely heated, most places is pan fried. Again, no salt. Beans and rice were decent in flavor. Chile relleno tasted like it had been battered and pan fried a day or two ago. No salt. Menudo - I Do Not Recommend even trying. Pan Dulce - I give them an 8/10. Worth buying. A Round Rock institution and a staple for me!! I love their tamales and get them for Christmas. I also love breakfast Migas plate and breakfast Tacos. The service is always friendly and fast. We'll it was all good until we ask for more cilantro. O hell folks and you know cilantro is what 38cents under $1.00 dollar. We ask the Owner he passed by and he said o it's $1.75 for extra cilantro veggies are expensive. And it's not about the money but the principal we were what. For extra cilantro. We'll since then we haven't stepped in that restaurant. But we found a better one that has better mexican food and the best menudo it's called. With a weekend of drinking the only cure is a big bowl of menudo and a Mexican Coke. This is my second time at Juarez and each time is atleast a 20-30 minute wait - if that doesn't say anything. Service is always sincere and fast. Their salsa is fresh and delicious. Chips are crispy and salted well. The horchata (when given enough time to get cold with the ice) is tasty, sweeter than most horchatas I've had. Their menudo is good. And I say good because the first time I had it, it had a lot of flavor and a good ratio of the hominy, meat, & broth. This time it was loaded with meat with almost no hominy and there wasn't enough broth. And the broth I did have lacked in flavor. It could've just been an off day. Something my bf and his friends (who are from El Paso) turned me onto was eating bread with the menudo and they do have delicious grilled bread if you ask for it. I highly recommend it over tortillas. Game changer. Overall a good place, I'll definitely be back and give the menudo another go. #supportlocal read more

I always appreciate a place that serves breakfast "all day" instead of ending breakfasts at some arbitrary time. What if you like breakfast items for Brunch? Lunch? Or most likely in my case, what if I want to order a breakfast taco while I'm already there, to eat for breakfast tomorrow? Fortunately, there's no need to confront those dilemmas here; only keep in mind that they close at 2pm daily. Not only do they serve a full range of breakfast items all day, including many omelettes and an espresso bar, but they also have a large assortment of Mexican pastries, cookies, and cakes on display in their bakery, which you are welcome to choose from without sitting down in the restaurant. In addition, this restaurant serves Menudo daily, not just on weekends, but it is for dine-in only. Last time I visited, I ordered some dessert items and a half-dozen fresh tamales, and was on my way. This visit I sat at a table (at 11:45am, all tables were occupied) and ordered off the menu. I got a couple of dishes to eat there, and a couple to go. One downside is that their take-out containers were styrofoam :( I got a traditional crispy beef taco (don't judge me--I love ALL tacos!) and found the beef to be very flavorful and juicy, with crunchy iceberg lettuce, shredded cheddar, and chopped fresh tomatoes. Yum. FYI, the beef is not the picadillo type (with potatoes, etc) but I'm a fan of either type of ground beef mixture as long as it's juicy and not dried out. I ordered a cheese enchilada with chipotle sauce expecting it to be on the fiery side, but it was actually close to mild, by my tastebuds. The cheese filling was good and gooey. I had a chicken mole enchilada later, and was surprised to find the mole spicier than the chipotle, but flavorful, with a very generous filling of white meat chicken. A dollop of sour cream goes well with this enchilada. I also got a "gringo" taco Al Pastor (meaning on a flour tortilla instead of the traditional corn), which was topped with the requisite diced onions and cilantro. I admit to being a bit disappointed in the Pastor: though the meat was small diced and tender, I found the marinade lacking, with no discernible pineapple flavor, either. Next time I think I'll get a Carne Guisada taco instead, as I've heard good things about their rendition. The majority of the patrons were Hispanic and speaking Spanish, which I always take as a good sign at a Mexican place. I'll definitely be back. read more

I was starting to lose hope being surrounded by only flour tortillas and crispy tacos. THANK GOD I FOUND JUAREZ RESTAURANT & BAKERY - THEY'RE A GODSENT! Temp hours are 7:30-2pm so when we went in at 1:30, I was nervous they'd be low on pan dulce; no way! They had every pan dulce I could want and have been craving. Their staff was so friendly and quick despite a pretty packed restaurant! The hubs and I got two tacos to go and it was the BEST AND MOST AUTHENTIC TACO IVE BEEN ABLE TO FIND IN NORTH ATX. Only made up of beef fajitas and onions, it was packed with flavor and the tortilla was clearly homemade. Most definitely will be back and can't to try more of their savory menu - based how PERFECT their PAN DULCE tasted, I can't imagine how the rest of their menu compares. read more

Went for the Menudo. As a El Paso native this is probably the closest you are going to get for authentic menudo. Would prefer mine to be a little spicier and should automatically come with Oregano, Bolillio (White Bread) and red pepper flakes. I've been coming here for a while, then stopped visiting, no pun intended though just trying newer things. However, I can say this as my personal taste, aside from the food which is great (you can always share due to the large portions) but hey..... THE FLAN!!!! This place has the best flan I've tasted in the area. It's hard to get the flan to taste great. Usually, they don't make it right and it has an eggy taste or they add way too much caramelized sugar... Either way it's not on point. Here though, the flan is amazing! I don't want to leave out the nice people oriented staff also. I've always encountered good customer service. People check on you and are eager to help you. Off course I believe this is because we as customers have good attitudes and are also polite. Treat people the way you want to be treated.
