The location is a little off the beaten path and a cute casita type of place. The kitchen is small and open air so you get to smell all the good food cooking while your waiting. Staff was welcoming and friendly! I liked that they had beers on tap and different Agua Frescas to choose from. The carnitas was so delicious. We will definitely be back.

This place has to be the cleanest establishment I've ever been in. First time here and the guy at the counter was super helpful and great on recommendations. The asada was my favorite taco, and the jalapeño salsa was top tier. They also have really good agua frescas. I'd go back again.

This is where the magic happens!!!

Juan and Lupes Kitchen has to be one of my "Goto" spots for great Mexican Tortas. The flavor is so good that I don't mind the 23 minute drive to grab it. I usually do a phone order and it's ready when I arrive. Likes * Freshest bread I've experienced on a Torta in the area. * Portion size is great. We usually by two, split one and save the other for second dinner. * Excellent salsa choices. * Love the restaurant set up. You can watch your meal being prepared right there. * Service is always friendly. * Excellent flavor in the Carnitas and Carne Asada. Dislikes * Post Covid prices in effect. Bit much for a Torta. * Charge for extra salsa, so be prepared when you ask. Honestly, even being a little pricey, I still hate when I find out their closed on Sun and Mon. In Georgetown, you gotta check out. You won't be disappointed. Michael C.

A nice taco place in Georgetown, found in Yelp with great reviews. We ordered the pork taco plate and the three tacos were delicious! The sauces were great also. The place is comfortable, has a parking lot next to it, service was fast and friendly. Limited beer selection but some nice Mexican sodas. The queso and chips was tasty and the salad very refreshing. Great place for a nice lunch or dinner.

Small place to get some delicious Tex Mex food. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The place is clean. I was met within a few seconds of entering. The server asked me to find a seat of my choosing and review the menu, then to come to the front to order. After ordering, you take a seat, and the staff brings you your order. I got my beer in a couple of minutes and waited on the tacos about 10 minutes. The tacos were excellent and filled the tortilla completely. Juan and Lupe's is on the edge of town but worth the trip!

Overpriced, no beans and rice, no chips and salsa, no margaritas. Not a restaurant, it's a taco truck in a building.

We had an early dinner so the restaurant wasn't too terribly busy and the ambience was nice. We could talk to each other without having to speak too loudly. My husband enjoyed watching soccer on the television. Our server promptly gave us menus. Got us waters, chips, two salsas and some guacamole. My husband ordered shrimp enchiladas and I got chicken Flautas and my husband got a strawberry margarita. The food came out hot and quickly. We enjoyed it immensely & the guacamole was fantastic. My husband loved his margarita, but I had to drive home! Ha ha. And to top it off, dinner is very affordable here. Their prices are very good. Our server was Angie and she was amazing. She was very attentive to my meal because she had the knowledge of my food allergies. Our service was so good that I'm going to ask for Angie every time I come here. Since I have to be so careful when I eat because I get horribly sick if I eat any cheese or sour cream, it's nice to be confident that I can eat here without worry because Angie's got my back! She really made a difference in my experience at this restaurant. Thanks Angie:)

Coffee was good and came when I ran low. I ordered the poblano omelette which I thought would be spicier, but it was still delicious! It's a large breakfast, nice crispy potatoes and tasty refried beans. I was a happy man the rest of the day. A few days later, I came back for an early dinner on a Monday. I've been told to not go to restaurants on Sundays or Mondays as that is when the chefs take their days off, but not here. Lots of open tables, chips and dos salsas came quickly . I had the Memos special , which is fajita meat cut up mixed with onions, bell Peppers and jalapeños, I added bacon. Man it was good! I got the Charro beans which were outstanding! As was the rice. It was a great dinner! I'm going to ask for more jalapeños next time....

I came to this restaurant for breakfast on Sunday after church…read more First of all this place is always good. The service is always good. The prices are reasonable. I came with my husband and my mother, who is in a wheelchair. The restaurant employees were very accommodating, giving us a table and pulling away the chair so my mother could pull her wheelchair up to the table. They gave us chips and 2 types of salsa, one was hot and one was less hot. They were both good. My mom had scrambled eggs and beans. I had tacos. I do not eat the beans here because they use lard. I realize that lard is the traditional way to cook the refried beans, but it is not in my diet so I skipped the beans, but they looked really good and my mother seemed to enjoy them. The food was good. The only difficulty I had is the tables are very close together, so it was very difficult getting my mother to the bathroom in her wheelchair. People had to get up and move for me, which was awkward. It would be good if they had a few less tables allowing a little more room between the tables so people with wheelchairs could travel through the restaurant without issues. The customers had to get up and move out of the way so I could push my mother through the restaurant to the bathroom. Everyone was very friendly. I didn't have to ask anyone to move, they were all courteous and saw my dilemma. They were truly Texas friendly and showing Texas hospitality! God bless Texas! I must say, however, because of the difficulty of taking my mother to the bathroom, I will not be bringing my mother back to this restaurant, although she loved the food very much.

I went here with a large group (10) on Sunday last weekend. We went during Happy Hour (3-6p daily)…read morewhen their margaritas/beer/wine and appetizers were all $2 off. This is a very scenic and modern upscale restaurant near the heart of downtown Georgetown. The interior is nicely appointed and understatedly elegant. The inside and outside restaurant and bar areas are expansive but easily outstrip the provided parking. There is also street parking nearby, but don't be surprised if you wind up walking from nearby public lots or garages. I can easily see this place being packed. We had a reservation and were promptly seated and offered water service. As with most Mexican restaurants, there's an expansive menu, so we ordered drinks while we perused the menu. I found the Encantada margarita to be quite tasty, but it was a bit expensive. At $11 for a single serving with house liquors, closer to what we've come to expect locally for a Mexican martini (theirs was $18 with house, $24 with call). That's a bit over-the-top IMHO. We were offered complimentary chips and salsa; I remember the chips to be excellent, and the red salsa just right for my taste, but others remarked that it was too spicy. Our waitress (Paulina) joked that the only thing less spicy was their ketchup. They also have a green salsa, which is even spicier, but that we all skipped. The food menu has a lot of chef-inspired offerings. I tried the Grilled Chicken Tacos (Grilled Chicken, Cilantro, Onion, Fresco Cheese) at $16. I had one on flour and one on corn to taste the difference in tortillas with the same ingredients, along with a side bowl of black beans. I found them flavorful but also on the small side for the price. Additional tacos are $5 each. No rice was offered. This was one of their least expensive plates. We had a great time and our drink and food service was nothing less than excellent, but I couldn't help but come away feeling that, for a check that tabbed in just under $100 (with tip) we should have had a fuller tummy. Would we come back? Maybe. We'll have to explore their other options and perhaps graze more off the appetizer menu; however, less than $5 separate most of their appetizers from their plate dinners. This is a place to go for a culinary and visual experience, not an everyday meal.

My husband and I split the Caldwell Special (essentially a fajita platter with beef, chicken, and shrimp, over peppers and onions). It was pretty good -- the beef was tender and the shrimp was fat and succulent. Chicken was a bit on the tough side but that's the least important one for getting the texture right. Ultimately, a good dish but a bit pricy (44.99 for two). It wasn't a huge amount of food -- just enough for two people (and we got tortillas and made a couple fajitas too). Kids enjoyed their cheese quesadillas (but that's easy to nail). Service was great. Our waitress was really sweet and attentive. Ultimately, a comfortable and pleasant experience. Crunchy tacos are on but they fall apart if you don't eat them right away because the meat is so wet it just soaks through the shells.
