My husband and I split the Caldwell Special (essentially a fajita platter with beef, chicken, and shrimp, over peppers and onions). It was pretty good -- the beef was tender and the shrimp was fat and succulent. Chicken was a bit on the tough side but that's the least important one for getting the texture right. Ultimately, a good dish but a bit pricy (44.99 for two). It wasn't a huge amount of food -- just enough for two people (and we got tortillas and made a couple fajitas too). If you want the mildest Mexican food ever this is your spot. Their hot salsa is so mild and infant could eat it. Even their torreados (grilled jalapeños) have no heat..... This place seriously needs to get something spicy. Their "hotter" salsa looks the same As the regular salsa and almost tastes the same. Seriously needs to be 25x hotter for the love of god! Crunchy tacos are on but they fall apart if you don't eat them right away because the meat is so wet it just soaks through the shells. Went to Mas Fajitas on a Thursday night and had a great experience. Relaxed atmosphere with a mix of tables and booths. The service was friendly, attentive, and impressively fast without ever feeling rushed. The food was packed with flavor and came out hot with generous portions. The shrimp cocktail was exceptionally delicious, fresh, well-seasoned, and one of the best I've had. The beef fajitas were another standout; tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Georgetown~ For having such horrible reviews, this place was packed and the food was pretty darn yummy! There were five of us for dinner this evening. We were seated quickly and served right away. All of us had something different for our entrées. Some of us had Carnitas, some of us had enchiladas, some of us had a stuffed avocado, some of us had tacos, BUT all of us decided that our entrées were delicious! Beans and rice were uninspiring but edible. Chips were light and delicious. Had a chance to visit the "MAs" as it is one of my wife's local favorites. She really loves the Cheese Enchiladas lunch plate. I like the Carne Guisada lunch or platter. The service is exceptional. From the host that seats you, to the server taking our order, to the runner that brings your food. The food is always fresh, hot and full of flavor. The menu has a nice variety of creative Tex-Mex selections. Our server today was Lizette or maybe Lizeth. She was so helpful in helping us choose items and so funny. Always checked in on us and helped us pack our things to go. She went above and beyond. MasFajitas is a Georgetown favorite. I visited this restaurant for the first time today. My husband and I went for lunch. The decor is extremely casual. They have six TVs all showing something different. This is great for somebody who wants to watch basketball and soccer and football all at the same time. The service was good. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. The prices are reasonable. They have a happy hour menu with ground beef or chicken tacos for $.99 on Tuesday. However, their tacos don't have much flavor so I'm not interested in taco Tuesday. I ordered off of the lunch menu and I had a combo which is one enchilada and one taco with rice and beans and it was $12. My husband had steak tacos, rice, and beans and he said that the steak was way overcooked. It looked overcooked. He did not enjoy it. The food was just OK. I ate until I wasn't hungry and then I let the rest go to the trash. It did not taste bad; It was just blah. The chips and salsa were good. The iced tea was fine. I love coming here when I drive in to Georgetown. Their food is always super good and reasonably priced. Today I had their birria tacos with carnitas, and MAN. Legit some of the best I've ever had. My waiter was super friendly, and I had folks checking in on me at regular intervals to fill my drink and make sure I was all good. All the while I'm sitting in a spacious restaurant, got a mix of country and Tex-mex singers on the radio, and a glass of sweet tea made perfect Exactly the experience I love. This restaurant has developed such a comfortable atmosphere, It's obvious; 1) People like returning here as regulars and 2) The employees have been here long enough to appreciate their regulars. Overall, the food is alright. This is based on a couple of experiences with the combo fajitas. The chicken is tasty, but the texture of the beef was too soft both times. So this past Friday on June 5th we celebrated my younger brothers birthda. He wanted to go to Mas Fajitas because every Friday they do Karaoke. I arrived first at 5:45 to get the tables and at most restaurants they do not do reservations and especially do not let you sit at your table until the entire party has arrive. Well not only did they say they could accommodate the tables but they also let us sit even though only my wife and I were there. By 6:30 everyone showed up. This restaurant is located in a strip center with plenty of seating and a full bar with 6 flats screens. Once seated, they bring complementary chips and salsa. Their red salsa is mildly spicy, but quite good and the chips are thin and crispy. We got here at 3 o'clock in the afternoon and discovered the lunch menu goes til 4pm. We ordered a couple of jumbo frozen margaritas which were great values. I had the lunch beef fajitas, which were perfectly cooked and very tender paired with their homemade flour tortillas. Took my brother who was visiting from out of town and my uncle. Wait staff was friendly enough and they have a large well organized dining room. The salsa was good. The chips were over fried and the fryer oil needs to be changed. The waitress forgot to bring the guacamole. I ordered the beef Chili Relleno. It had little to no flavor. My brother and uncle had the opinion of their orders. My brother had to ask the waitress to remove the guacamole from the ticket. Each time we have visited Mas Fajitas, whether for dine in or take out, the food has been fresh, hot , and tasty.

It was mediocre at best. The churros were hard as rocks. The fajitas were dry and the extras were pretty bare. Tortilla chips stale.

Quick and friendly service. The fajitas were amazing. It was decorated nicely with colorful pictures and a relaxing atmosphere.

We used MasFajitas to cater luncheon for 200 people. the Masfajitas Catering was wonderful. The food was delicious as always. I got a lot of compliments on it. I'm typing this as I leave! I did not get the servers name however this was on taco Tuesday. It is a female server. I understand that on Tuesdays it is especially busy within the restaurant, but that is no excuse for the type of service we received today.. I saw our waitress a total of 5 times. 3 of which were out of necessity one to greet us and to get our drinks. The second time was to give us our drinks and to receive our food orders. The third time was to get our check, i.e. the bill. The two other times was when we had to physically call her down so we could get something for the table. Each time it took about 10 minutes just to even see her come out of the back area. I occur one time when she was over at the stand near where they put in the orders physically and she was on her phone. This is not insult to the managers or other staff. Besides this one server. The food is always amazing and it was amazing this time. It's just the amount that it took for her to even get anything for us other than the initial order for drink drinks. As we looked around, I could see other tables of hers waiting as well. Around this time when we were in the last 30 minutes of service, the waiting area to get a table was empty. We were there for an over an hour to eat some tacos. And there were only three of us and each was a small order. Management, please get with your servers and remind them to check up on their guest! Thought we would try something new, we stopped in about the time the UT game started. We were seated right away, and served our drinks, chips and salsa quickly! We had a great booth, were able to watch the game comfortably on the bar TVs. We ordered queso, chicken fajitas, and mad-guisada (cheese enchiladas with carne guisada on top). We asked for pico on the side, note it was an extra fee. The fajitas had great flavor, good seasoning and great veggies. The rice and charro beans were good, and the tortillas fresh. The guida was cooked well, good flavor, and paired wonderfully with the cheese enchiladas. The retired beans were my favorite, normally I add queso to beans for flavor, I didn't have to here. The beans we inquired a boat were full of meat and we're vegetarian. Most orders were a toss up on who had ordered them. He got help with entrees being delivered to the room we were in but otherwise mostly a 1 man show with at least 15 separate checks. The good news stops. The food is barely just ok. Some people asked for chicken in their entrees and got beef. I tried a new dish with cheese enchiladas and a "sauce" that was just several large chunks of overcooked beef. Most dishes for us and others at our table had sat under a warmer of some kind so they could be served to the group in proximity. Cheese was almost liquified vs just melted.
