Sausage and egg taco, chorizo and potato taco
    Carrie M.

These tacos were so good, and the prices are fantastic. I brought cash because I read the reviews beforehand, but they should really put on their menu that the listed prices are cash prices and that there is an upcharge with credit cards as it doesn't say that anywhere. For takeout, you order at the window and wait outside. They have several picnic tables. There is also an indoor dining area that opens later in the morning than the takeout window. I had two breakfast tacos and was very satisfied with their size and price at $3 each. I had the chorizo and potato taco and the sausage and egg taco. These were filling for breakfast after a run and tasted so good. The salsa was pretty spicy to me.

Enchiladas and one taco carbon and one taco guisada. The rice and beans were bland and flavorless, the enchiladas were just ok. The taco carbon was absolutely gross and flavorless. The guisada meat tasted overcooked and was extremely salty but lacked any other flavor. I did not taste any chilis what so ever. No garlic, cilantro, onion or lime in anything they cooked. There was a small hair in my salsa. The server was very nice and she was doing a good job but the food was just soooooo underwhelming that it was hard to ignore. I probably won't be back. The food looked amazing but once I tasted it I was just so sad but it wasn't horrible. It was just ok. Probably won't return as there are so many amazing spots in the area.

First I want to share this place is walk up and order only until 11. We went planning on sitting in a restaurant and eating, and that was not an option before 11. Ordered breakfast tacos for Saturday morning before sports day. People waiting looked like they had been there awhile so we decided to place our order, go get gas and come back. Worked out well as they were just pulling our order when we returned. Place is old and wait is outside only. Tacos were decent to taste.

3 enchiladas, rice and beans with ranchero sauce and guac. One Barbacoa taco and one carne taco

First time trying this and I ordered it via Favor. This was a lot of food for not that much. I believe this was $13 or so in total. The enchiladas were buried under the sauce but they were very good and spicy. I was impressed with the beans and rice honestly which had great flavor. The tacos were okay, just plain. I added some cheese and sauce to them but overall they were okay. This place isn't bad, if I'm ever in a pinch I would definitely give this another go. It's very affordable.

    Breakfast taco of goodness.

1 of 6 we had family style so I could try lots of things. I think this was a little feast. All were delicious. Bacon and egg was fine, but not exceptional. The rest were art.

    Friday lunch special. Chicken Mexicana.

We had an early dinner so the restaurant wasn't too terribly busy and the ambience was nice. We could talk to each other without having to speak too loudly. My husband enjoyed watching soccer on the television. Our server promptly gave us menus. Got us waters, chips, two salsas and some guacamole. My husband ordered shrimp enchiladas and I got chicken Flautas and my husband got a strawberry margarita. The food came out hot and quickly. We enjoyed it immensely & the guacamole was fantastic. My husband loved his margarita, but I had to drive home! Ha ha. And to top it off, dinner is very affordable here. Their prices are very good. Our server was Angie and she was amazing. She was very attentive to my meal because she had the knowledge of my food allergies. Our service was so good that I'm going to ask for Angie every time I come here. Since I have to be so careful when I eat because I get horribly sick if I eat any cheese or sour cream, it's nice to be confident that I can eat here without worry because Angie's got my back! She really made a difference in my experience at this restaurant. Thanks Angie:)

Coffee was good and came when I ran low. I ordered the poblano omelette which I thought would be spicier, but it was still delicious! I've been told to not go to restaurants on Sundays or Mondays as that is when the chefs take their days off, but not here. Lots of open tables, chips and dos salsas came quickly . I had the Memos special , which is fajita meat cut up mixed with onions, bell Peppers and jalapeños, I added bacon. Man it was good! I got the Charro beans which were outstanding! As was the rice. It was a great dinner! I'm going to ask for more jalapeños next time....

I came to this restaurant for breakfast on Sunday after church…read more First of all this place is always good. The service is always good. The prices are reasonable. I came with my husband and my mother, who is in a wheelchair. The restaurant employees were very accommodating, giving us a table and pulling away the chair so my mother could pull her wheelchair up to the table. They gave us chips and 2 types of salsa, one was hot and one was less hot. They were both good. My mom had scrambled eggs and beans. I had tacos. I do not eat the beans here because they use lard. I realize that lard is the traditional way to cook the refried beans, but it is not in my diet so I skipped the beans, but they looked really good and my mother seemed to enjoy them. The food was good. The only difficulty I had is the tables are very close together, so it was very difficult getting my mother to the bathroom in her wheelchair. People had to get up and move for me, which was awkward. It would be good if they had a few less tables allowing a little more room between the tables so people with wheelchairs could travel through the restaurant without issues. The customers had to get up and move out of the way so I could push my mother through the restaurant to the bathroom. Everyone was very friendly. I didn't have to ask anyone to move, they were all courteous and saw my dilemma. They were truly Texas friendly and showing Texas hospitality! God bless Texas! I must say, however, because of the difficulty of taking my mother to the bathroom, I will not be bringing my mother back to this restaurant, although she loved the food very much.

They waited on a couple three seats awayand made drinks for them. And all of them utterly failed to acknowledge my existence. I finally asked one of the young men employees (who was watching another man prepare a flight of margs for someone else three feet from me), "Hey, may I at least get some water here?" He gave me a half nod.... Then walked away. I guess the guy at the bar wasn't worth the 20% tip he would have added to the order. I haven't been so COMPLETELY ignored and denied in a restaurant. I don't know what happened to this place. I do know what is going to happen -- along with the loss of my patience today, they lose my endorsement, my recommendation on Yelp and by word of mouth and they lose my frequent business. I won't say what I believe the motivation for my neglect and denial of service was as others were served around me, but suffice it to say GREEN should be the only concern of any service business. And if the choice not to wait on me wasn't based upon what I think it was, there is still absolutely no good reason for intentionally ignoring and driving a customer away. After years of business... This is a very scenic and modern upscale restaurant near the heart of downtown Georgetown. The interior is nicely appointed and understatedly elegant. The inside and outside restaurant and bar areas are expansive but easily outstrip the provided parking. There is also street parking nearby, but don't be surprised if you wind up walking from nearby public lots or garages. I can easily see this place being packed. We had a reservation and were promptly seated and offered water service. As with most Mexican restaurants, there's an expansive menu, so we ordered drinks while we perused the menu. I found the Encantada margarita to be quite tasty, but it was a bit expensive. At $11 for a single serving with house liquors, closer to what we've come to expect locally for a Mexican martini (theirs was $18 with house, $24 with call). That's a bit over-the-top IMHO. We were offered complimentary chips and salsa; I remember the chips to be excellent, and the red salsa just right for my taste, but others remarked that it was too spicy. Our waitress (Paulina) joked that the only thing less spicy was their ketchup. They also have a green salsa, which is even spicier, but that we all skipped. The food menu has a lot of chef-inspired offerings. I tried the Grilled Chicken Tacos (Grilled Chicken, Cilantro, Onion, Fresco Cheese) at $16. I had one on flour and one on corn to taste the difference in tortillas with the same ingredients, along with a side bowl of black beans. I found them flavorful but also on the small side for the price. Additional tacos are $5 each. No rice was offered. This was one of their least expensive plates. We had a great time and our drink and food service was nothing less than excellent, but I couldn't help but come away feeling that, for a check that tabbed in just under $100 (with tip) we should have had a fuller tummy. Would we come back? Maybe. We'll have to explore their other options and perhaps graze more off the appetizer menu; however, less than $5 separate most of their appetizers from their plate dinners. This is a place to go for a culinary and visual experience, not an everyday meal.
