TOPPINGS & Tortillas: Came with gauc, pico, rice, cheese, chips, salsa, tortillas, lettuce. EVERYTHING you need which makes it quick & easy. I love both the flour & corn tortillas. The corn is a thicker style to where there is a subtle taste of Masa. The flour is LIGHT and I absolutely love that and so does my tummy. BEANS: The refried beans are a perfect texture & taste just like the pinto beans my maw maw used to make. RIH Maw Maw. The charro beans are so flavorful with chunks of steak. These beans have been cooking all day. SERVICE: Finally the service is outstanding. The food is always ready when they say and always served with a smile no matter how busy they are. First time trying Fajita Pete's, and I will be back! I got the beef and chicken tacos al carbon, and both were very delicious. It came with refried beans, rice, chips, and salsa. Such a great deal for that meal! The beans and rice were flavorful, and the chips and salsa were fresh too. The nice man at the counter was very friendly and helpful. I think there were only two tables in there, and not much for ambiance, so it is probably more of a takeout place. The fajitas are really good. My issue is the cost. I placed an order over the phone for a pound of beef and a pound of chicken fajitas. I checked the receipt after I got home. They charge $48 for a pound of beef fajitas. I thought it was a mistake. but they confirmed it when I went back to the store. This was only the beef, no cheese, salsa, etc. It is unbelievable they charge these prices. A full service restaurant charges less than this. Never again. I haven't been to FP Cedar Park in awhile because I was disappointed with the decline in service and food quality. And the cleanliness of the restaurant was poor. I decided to give it another try today since I had a welcome coupon from the new online order/rewards system. I ordered online and arrived 17 mins later. When I entered, there wasn't anyone up front. There was an open container of ice tea on the counter next to the POS system. The gentleman that came up front asked how he could help me and I told him the name on the order I was picking up. He went to the back and didn't return for another 3-4 mins. I was given the bag and I asked if the burrito had shrimp in it (just to confirm because it's not a normal order). He said yes, and it's on the ticket too. I said thank you and walked out. I checked the order when I got into the car to discover the churro bites were not in the bag. I went back inside and informed him, and he acknowledged by shaking his head and heading back to the kitchen. A couple minutes later he came out with the bag. I said thank you and left. At no point was there an apology for the item not being in the bag. It's not a big deal but it is good customer service. I was looking forward to eating the chips and queso when I got home. However, it was the liquid consistency of milk and not queso. Unfortunately, this whole experience does not make me want to return to Fajita Pete's Cedar park anytime soon. read more

Yesterday I got a burrito at a better place that had about a pound of beef in it for $9 plus tax. I have been a loyal fan since the Cedar Park location opened, for personal use. However, today I tried to set up a $3,000 catering order that became far too difficult. Their ordering system malfunctioned multiple times (at their own admission, saying it's a known Corporate issue) then, they couldn't process my credit card. Fajita Pete's offers freshly grilled fajitas, frozen margaritas, and other Tex-Mex favorites. Thing One and I ordered a fajita trio. The shrimp and steak for the fajitas were both fresh and flavorful. The charro beans for this meal included meat and other 'punchy' spices throughout the dish. The fajitas were delivered to our table in a timely manner. My frozen marg was refreshing and was what one comes to expect from a pre-made store marg. Fajita Pete's also offers to-go margaritas in 20-ounce, half-gallon, and gallon containers. Flavors include original, mango, and strawberry, and flavors can be combined. We ordered $64 dollars of Fajita's PLUS a TIP of $4. We got home with the food to find that there were no Tortillas and no queso in our bag. Ok, not the end of the world, but definitely frustrating. I order on the Fajita Pete's app and earn rewards and my favorite meai is saved so I can quickly reorder. The enchiladas are very good too. My man crush and I love the queso and salsa. We always order a medium size. The only thing that needs improvement is checking orders for pick-up. On several occasions, there have been missing items. We set up an order for 12 and were really disappointed. I went over the order for about 30 minutes a few days prior to make sure we had everything for our pick up. We came home and were unpacking the order and we had half the tortillas (only 16 for an order of 12), no corn tortillas (which were paid for and we had a gluten allergy in our group), no sour cream which we paid $22 for and 1 t bag of chips for 12 people. I also asked to pay for the $25 catering charge so that we would have all of the plates and utensils which were also left out of the box. I called and the person I talked to was very rude and my husband had to drive back to get the things they messed up on. Whoever answered the phone hung up on me and kept hanging up before I could even explain what was going on. We had a group of people arriving and it was stressful having drive 20 minutes go get the things that were missing in our order. We will not be back and I would warn anyone to check your catering box because there will most likely be things missing. I am including a picture of our $22 sour cream! I finally got an opportunity to try Fajita Pete's. It's located in the HEB strip center at the corner of FM 1431 and Parmer Lane. It is a small store front with an order counter and a couple of tables. Simple but extremely clean. I was greeted when I entered. Menu is divided between family packs and individual plates. Definitely a setup designed primarily for takeout and catering. I ordered the Tacos Al Carbon plate. It came with rice and a bowl of refried beans. The owner also brought me a basket of freshly fried tortilla chips and a bowl of red salsa. The chips were thin and crispy with just a light touch of salt. Absolutely no excessive grease. The salsa was served warm. Both were top notch. The salsa had a perfect flavor and heat level. Much better than most restaurants even those named after this condiment. The tacos were served on flour tortillas and fully dressed with lettuce and tomatoes. The strips of beef were nicely charred. And there was a large amount of meat. When I order fajitas, I'm looking for that certain flavor . More often than not, I'm disappointed by lack or nonexistence of flavor. This time the fajita and char flavors were on point. Very delicious and enjoyable meal. Cost with tax: $12.98, which I consider excellent. I'm looking forward to my next meal at Fajita Pete's. And yes, they are now on 'My Keepers List'. read more

Wonder Wife and I were in that shopping center doing something else, but saw Fajita Pete's and she decided we were hungry. The location is small - only two tables - and is pretty bare, so we weren't sure what we would experience. It's extremely clean, so that was a plus. It looks like it's been here for about a week. It's all sparkly and shiny! We ordered mixed fajitas for two and selected beef and chicken as the proteins. It comes with tortillas (we got corn and flour), guacamole, rice, beans, lettuce, pico de gallo and shredded cheese. The meat is served on a sizzling cast iron platter with a grilled jalapeno on a bed of onion. Chips and salsa were brought to us once we sat down. The chips are the super-thin kind, were served warm and the salsa is thin and very tomato-y. It's also served warm and has a pleasant kick to it. I didn't really like the salsa, I thought - but it grew on me. The meat is extremely tender and is perfectly seasoned. The trimmings were fresh and very good. The rice is a little bland, but okay. The tortillas taste homemade and were good, too. The service was great, they were super polite and the fajitas are delicious. Go and give them a try. You won't be disappointed. read more

Tried this new place based on Yelp reviews, plus it was Friday and I wanted something easy. This was the ticket. Everything was packaged well. The fajitas for 2 was perfect for our family of 3. The queso wasn't spicy so my 9-year-old could easily eat it (also it was yummy). The only thing is the order was supposed to be ready in 20 minutes and it took a few more minutes than that so I had to wait. Not a huge deal but keep in mind they may need extra time.
