We order from here almost every weekend. We had their menudo before and it's decent, but today I found a hair. I wanted something warm to help me from getting a sore throat and paid $12.99. The packaging/bowl was all bent and impossible to eat from so I had to put it in another bowl. The chicken fajita tacos was pathetic and paper thin wrapped. Basically two tacos is one regular taco. The tripa taco my husband gets in every order we order from there and he took one bit and could not finish it, he said it was not fully cooked and we asked for extra crispy and almost burnt and we got the opposite. Had a medical procedure in the morning that required fasting. Woke up with a craving for eggs and my angel wife brought us here for sustenance. I had a delicious Mexican omelet (at 1pm!on a Tuesday) with bacon. It was hot, fresh, and tasty, especially with the red and green salsas. My wife enjoyed her carnitas taco as well. They have ~ meat options including Lengua (tongue), barbacoa and tripes and their standard meat fare like beef, chicken and Al pastor. They also serve Menudo on Saturday and Sunday. We got: Mini taco plate with lengua and steak fajita. 4/5 We're allowed up to 2 choices of meat. Steak is good but lengua unfortunately is extremely dry. Everything was freshly made to order. Pork Tamale - 1.5/5 was dry and a bit stale; I think it was jn the warmer for a very long time. Flavor of the pork is very good though. I'm very sad the corn was dry getting crispy so I can't really taste it. Tostada de ceviche - 5/5 excellent ceviche on top of a fresh toasty tostada. Good value for $5.99. I would order again and I would order 2!!!! Regular taco - Al pastor - 4/5 Good amount of meat and bigger than mini taco. It's good but doesn't wow me, though. Horchata 4/5 - huge cup for $4. Best meaty, flavorful barbacoa tacos I've had! Optional toppings of fresh chopped onion and cilantro is the perfect amount. (I always order two, on flour tortillas) They serve it on a PLATE, with slices of fresh RADISH, GRILLED onions, a whole, roasted spicy hot PEPPER, a tasty whole mini POTATO,, fresh made red, green (or both!) SALSA , and a LIME wedge! These are good sized tacos, filled with tender beef. Not overly salted, or greasy, or dripping in orange oil or filled with nasty gristle. Just lovely, perfectly seasoned meat. We also order egg and bacon and egg and potato. Always consistent, fresh and fast. Keep this food truck in business! Order from them! We call in our order ahead, and then go pick it up. Never had a wrong order! They have a, cute, well cared for food truck, friendly staff, the outdoor area for eating/waiting is clean, and an assigned parking area (unpaved) is to the right. *(Try not to use the car wash they share the lot with for parking.) **FYI- Their Cedar Park location has fantastic carne guidsada but they don't offer it in Leander. Stopped by after a haircut at another local place. Outside looks inviting. Parking is a bit interesting. Didn't know where to park so I ended up parking against a curb, just making sure that it didn't say 'no parking'. Later on, I realized there was a gravel parking lot adjacent to the Truck but maybe next time. :) Food was fantastic. No frills, exactly like I like it. Great flavors and sauces to go with it. Helps that the weather was great too so I wasn't scorching my skin off or freezing while trying to consume the goodness! Service was nice and fast. Nothing much to it. Order was correct. People servicing the truck and visiting were all friendly. I'll be back again if I can. If only I had to do one thing in life....enjoy tacos, all day every day, then I could be back sooner. Tacos, always. We were in the area and decided to try this spot. Beware! Parking is non-existent and you will be directed to park in a fire lane by a yellow sign. It wasn't really a problem because we showed up at a weird hour and the traila wasn't busy. Service was quick and friendly. We were disappointed when we looked at the menu and the option for quesabirria tacos was scratched off - darn it. My partner ordered two campechano tacos on flour with a Coca Mexicana. I ordered two tacos de pastor on tortillas de maíz with a Topo Chico and lime. Both tacos had a heavy portion of meat - that's always nice. The pastor was more flavorful than the campechano. This also could be because my pastor tacos had cilantro and cebolla. Tacos come with lime and salsa. The salsa roja is not spicy. Salsa verde has a slight kick but not enough - in my opinion. The pastor was quite salty. I wasn't truly a fan but if I'm in the area and need to satisfy my taco craving, this traila will do the job. All in all and average rating for a decent experience. I have driven by this place many times and finally decided to stop by! I ordered cheese enchiladas and my fiancé got the mini tacos. The enchiladas were awesome! I loved their red sauce and the beans have a great flavor. My fiancé said the tacos were good, but probably wouldn't spend the $14 for them another time. We ordered to go but their outdoor seating was nice and clean, with shade and they had fans set up as well. The service was quick and we didn't wait long for their food. ***SAVE YOUR MONEY*** I ordered cheese enchiladas plate with red sauce refried beans and rice, well the enchiladas were so cold and the cheese wasn't melted at all as if it was straight from the refrigerator still grated cheese forms and covered with cold lettuce and cold tomato's. The red sauce was almost non existent, the refried beans 2 tablespoons worth, cold and crusted on top not fresh at all. The rice 2 tablespoons worth cold and tasteless. Order 4 tacos (2-Migas Tacos and 2-Potato egg and Cheese, they came so small and almost without filling it should be illegal. I couldn't gauge the flavor because there was more flour tortillas than filling. The cost to quality and quantity ratio wouldn't equal to the 1/3 of the cost. In my opinion just get takeout from your local restaurants since it's the same cost as this trailer that seems to have run out of gas or electricity to heat food. Anyone that know of places close to leander, Cedar let me know....THANKS BEST PART OF THIS WHOLE ORDEAL: Was the family of three from Leander TX, that moved there from San Antonio was trying this place for the first time and we talked about how good San Antonio's Mexican food is and I bet they will rate this place with 1-Star also. Ordered 4 birria tacos ($4 each) and a pineapple/orange juice. My total came out to $24. The juice was the only thing I didn't see a price for on the menu but seeing as the tacos should have been $12, MAYBE $14, I'm led to believe the juice was a $10 charge MINIMUM. the food looks good but the juice tastes like it was made from unripe fruit then the cup was filled half way with juice and the other half with water.
