My favorite Mexican food in the area, and it's served out of a trailer in a car wash. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is a nice array of picnic tables with various amounts of shade options available for eat-in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There's gravel/dirt parking next to it, but you can park along the marked curb at the car wash as well. I've tried their tostada, gordita, tacos, and torta, and all have been really solid to fantastic. For proteins I usually love to get lengua, but this place doesn't have my favorite. Instead at Taco Mana I suggest the Al pastor, carne asada, or others. My favorite so far has been an al pastor tostada, loaded with fresh toppings and a great portion of meat. Next favorite is the torta, served on a nice and soft bolillo roll, then a tie between the gordita and tacos. Had a medical procedure in the morning that required fasting. Woke up with a craving for eggs and my angel wife brought us here for sustenance. We got: Mini taco plate with lengua and steak fajita. 4/5 We're allowed up to 2 choices of meat. Steak is good but lengua unfortunately is extremely dry. Everything was freshly made to order. Pork Tamale - 1.5/5 was dry and a bit stale; I think it was jn the warmer for a very long time. Flavor of the pork is very good though. I'm very sad the corn was dry getting crispy so I can't really taste it. Tostada de ceviche - 5/5 excellent ceviche on top of a fresh toasty tostada. Good value for $5.99. We order from here almost every weekend. We had their menudo before and it's decent, but today I found a hair. I wanted something warm to help me from getting a sore throat and paid $12.99. The packaging/bowl was all bent and impossible to eat from so I had to put it in another bowl. The chicken fajita tacos was pathetic and paper thin wrapped. Basically two tacos is one regular taco. The tripa taco my husband gets in every order we order from there and he took one bit and could not finish it, he said it was not fully cooked and we asked for extra crispy and almost burnt and we got the opposite. This also could be because my pastor tacos had cilantro and cebolla. Tacos come with lime and salsa. The salsa roja is not spicy. Salsa verde has a slight kick but not enough - in my opinion. The pastor was quite salty. I wasn't truly a fan but if I'm in the area and need to satisfy my taco craving, this traila will do the job. All in all and average rating for a decent experience. I have driven by this place many times and finally decided to stop by! I ordered cheese enchiladas and my fiancé got the mini tacos. The enchiladas were awesome! I loved their red sauce and the beans have a great flavor. My fiancé said the tacos were good, but probably wouldn't spend the $14 for them another time. ***SAVE YOUR MONEY*** I ordered cheese enchiladas plate with red sauce refried beans and rice, well the enchiladas were so cold and the cheese wasn't melted at all as if it was straight from the refrigerator still grated cheese forms and covered with cold lettuce and cold tomato's. The red sauce was almost non existent, the refried beans 2 tablespoons worth, cold and crusted on top not fresh at all. The rice 2 tablespoons worth cold and tasteless. Order 4 tacos (2-Migas Tacos and 2-Potato egg and Cheese, they came so small and almost without filling it should be illegal. I couldn't gauge the flavor because there was more flour tortillas than filling. The cost to quality and quantity ratio wouldn't equal to the 1/3 of the cost. In my opinion just get takeout from your local restaurants since it's the same cost as this trailer that seems to have run out of gas or electricity to heat food. Anyone that know of places close to leander, Cedar let me know....THANKS BEST PART OF THIS WHOLE ORDEAL: Was the family of three from Leander TX, that moved there from San Antonio was trying this place for the first time and we talked about how good San Antonio's Mexican food is and I bet they will rate this place with 1-Star also. The juice was the only thing I didn't see a price for on the menu but seeing as the tacos should have been $12, MAYBE $14, I'm led to believe the juice was a $10 charge MINIMUM. the food looks good but the juice tastes like it was made from unripe fruit then the cup was filled half way with juice and the other half with water.
