This was 2nd time ordering from Luna's and definitely can say wasn't disappointed. I had thr Bladi taco and hangover bagel. Bladi was so flavorful, gobbled it up in no time. The hangover bagel was so filling and tasty. It just requires a little bit of sauce which I took on the side. This was a pickup order. Everything was packed well.

I DoorDash a few items #13 Pastor Taco 4/5 Flavor was there but maybe a bit more meat to fill the taco #5 The "Bladi" taco 4/5 This one had lots of meats. The flavor was okay. #2 Brisket, Eggs, Potatoes & Cheese 5/5 This was a thick one. Tasty and cheesy. Strawberry Lemonade Agua Fresca 5/5 Pineapple Spinach Agua Fresca 5/5 Both were refreshing and fresh. Kid quesadilla 4/5 I was expecting like a half quesadilla. This was more a size of a taco. Flavor still good tho.

I am so glad we checked out Luna's taco's! The barria taco was the best out of what we ordered, and the breakfast taco was very tasty. Customer service was excellent, very friendly and quick to help you when you came to the counter. The building was very clean and there are plenty of tables of medium sized parties.

Great tacos, and now also the brick and mortar home to the best birria trucks in the area! Crazy good cohabitation with Mama Rosas Birrieria and menu makes Luna's the best taco joint in the greater Austin area right here in our Round Rock backyard. Just keep it a secret, ok? Don't tell those weirdo's down in the ATX.

Very nice and comfortable place to eat. I ordered over twenty tacos, and it was only a hundred bucks which is not bad at all. Specially, being the tacos are almost four inches in length, a decent sized taco. Very, very delicious Place almost authentic Mexican place. Way better than velvet taco way.Better then torche's taco I would highly suggest eating here. They got my tacos out very quick timing. Everything tasty good everything looked good. For never eating here, the gentleman taking my order was very accommodating on what was good. What he recommends, especially for a bigger group. Overall, clean quick. Good, not much more. You can ask for in a restaurant

OMG! I have been trying for the last 5 years to find a decent taco place. Luna's is better than that! We got it two nights in row! Coming from Cali, we have high expectations for tacos. Finally, we found a great place to satisfy our Cali cravings. The tropical pig taco is so damn good. My son had the birria tacos. He had them both times. We also had Baja fish tacos, an al pastor, ribeye, bacon, egg and cheese tacos, quesadillas, and spicy queso. The creamy green salsa is the right amount of heat. The other salsas with the chips were good too. We had the spinach and pineapple aqua Fresca, horchata and the strawberry one. ALL were delicious! I feel ginormous after eating tacos 2 days in a row but I don't regret it. I will be back but not anytime soon. I need to work out for the next month.

We appreciated the friendly staff who kindly answered our questions about the different menu items. We really enjoyed starting with guacamole and chips, with the guacamole being made fresh and the chips being warm and not greasy. We also tried multiple taco options, with the fried avocado being one of our favorites in addition to the grilled fish taco. Each had interesting textures and flavors that were different than the typical tacos. The pork belly taco included tender and flavorful pork belly pieces, although they were a bit muted with the rice and the flour taco. The plantains were nicely fried and tasty, and were a unique twist. Wish we had bigger stomachs to try other things on their menu!

The food here is absolutely amazing. Probably the best breakfast tacos I've ever had in the Austin area. My only complaint is the new guy that works in the mornings has zero personality. Highly recommend this restaurant for the food.

I had a chicken fajita taco, beef taco and The Texan which is a brisket taco all before 9:30 am. They were really great. Their smoker is out front. I appreciate that the brisket was very tasty, but also somewhat lean. They also have breakfast tacos among many other items. A friendly and popular place. I hope to return soon!

Falafel, at a taqueria? I know what you're thinking, but stay with me here. Luna's Tacos is frying up chickpea patties better than many Middle Eastern places in the area. Crispy on the outside, tender and moist on the inside, well seasoned and not greasy; what more could you ask for? They just happen to swaddled in tortillas instead of pita bread. Ask for it without tzaziki as one of a half dozen vegan or veganizable options on this menu. Other creative entrees include the plantains with black beans, veggie fajitas, sweet potato hash, and fried avocado. For an unremarkable spot in a strip mall off the highway, open both early (6am) and late (3am on the weekend), it's a stunning find.

We came here around 945 PM, Saturday night. Please was empty when we walked in but the crowd apparently followed us . The menu is on large TVS &the drink/ dessert menu was damaged and hard to read- not a big deal. The staff was very welcoming and acknowledged us immediately. We took a few minutes to look over the menu and the staff provided some suggestions. We ordered all vegetarian tacos here which we were glad to see so many options . The waffle taco-very basic 2/5 -wouldn't order again very flavorless IMO . Fried avocado taco -5/5 , loved the textures and combo of flavors! Nopaitos taco- I did t try however my parter really enjoyed and he doesn't normally eat nopales so that's a good sign! The plantain taco 2/5 the beans had a lot of juice dripping from the taco, the plantains were hard and difficult to chew (we ended up just taking them off and trashing them. I was disappointed as I love plantains and was really looking forward to having this. Last time I came here I ordered the little man no chicken togo and I got home to find chicken in my order which I do not eat so that was also a bummer. They have lists of unique options both veggie and meat! Open late so that's a plus as well! I will be coming back and trying a few different things including the flan and the cantaloupe agua Fresca. I liked all of the plants they had both in and outdoors, as well as the chalk wall in the back. Not the fanciest place but it's a taco shop so I would say the ambiance matched what they offer.

Let's start with the small menudo. If you don't like spicy menudo then this might be up your alley…read more As for me I was looking for spicy in every bite and never got it. Something that was very different about this menudo was that is was entirely meat and broth/juice there was 0 sign of hominey which is something I've never seen before. I love for my menudo to have lots of meat and some hominey but the fact that there was absolutely no hominey made me unsatisfied. I give the menudo overall a 3.5/10 I probably won't get that again here. The flautas were a 10/10 they were perfectly crispy all around, the meat was seasoned and the flautas definitely had a great portion of meat. The chicken flautas came smothere in cream and queso fresco as well as lettuce and tomato which all tasted fresh and went really well with those. The red and green salsa were really good and flavorful. The red one was much spicier than the green both complimented the flautas. Fruit cup was good and made fresh to order. The carne asada burrito with potato's and cheese was HUGE, very flavorful, a hint of spice and had lots of meat! 9.5/10 highly recommended only thing that could've brought it to a ten would be if the potatoes had some sort of crispiness to them, they were super soft and I prefer a crust-like outer layer on my potatoes. Beans were good, love that they put cheese in them just like my family does. The rice was good, I did add a little salt to it but overall good. The staff was sweet and patient, I came in with my two toddlers and they interacted with the staff and enjoyed their food

Same great prices, sweet staff and excellent food. I'm miss my San Diego breakfast burritos! I can't drive and eat a "breakfast taco"! So, I asked my server, Karen if they could make me something to-go that wasn't on menu.... THEY MADE IT! " My favorite breakfast, a burrito with chorizo, egg, cheese and potato and I got it at 2pm since they serve breakfast ALL DAY! There is a slight variation to their "cacajuetes" salsa. It was good but, I think the other location uses more pepitas and maybe a touch of sugar and salt? The place is super clean and the chips are definitely made in house, not sure what the other reviewers were taking about. Maybe they came when there was an off day? I think the complaints other reviewers have left is due to not understanding the cultural difference. The kind folks that work here, some don't speak English so maybe it was a communication break down. There's a lot of flavor! This is definitely NOT Tex-Mex! Thank God for that! Oddly, they did serve me "queso" which I don't care for but, there was really good.
