My family of 4 tries Luna's for the first time on a Taco Tuesday. We had 4 different items with varying results. We did all have birria because it's a family favorite. Sadly, it was dry and lacking flavor in 3 of the 4. The birria ramen was good and season well though. Here at this location they offer Coke related fountain drinks and bottled sodas. The exterior of the restraint is nice and had a lot of plants outside. You can sit in or outside the service was quick and courteous. The parking lot is small for the amount of shops in the center but we did t have trouble during the week. At this time I can't personally recommend the birria but it may be worth your visit to try their taco menu. read more

OMG! I have been trying for the last 5 years to find a decent taco place. Luna's is better than that! We got it two nights in row! Coming from Cali, we have high expectations for tacos. Finally, we found a great place to satisfy our Cali cravings. The tropical pig taco is so damn good. My son had the birria tacos. He had them both times. We also had Baja fish tacos, an al pastor, ribeye, bacon, egg and cheese tacos, quesadillas, and spicy queso. The creamy green salsa is the right amount of heat. The other salsas with the chips were good too. We had the spinach and pineapple aqua Fresca, horchata and the strawberry one. ALL were delicious! We came here around 945 PM, Saturday night. Please was empty when we walked in but the crowd apparently followed us . The menu is on large TVS &the drink/ dessert menu was damaged and hard to read- not a big deal. The staff was very welcoming and acknowledged us immediately. We took a few minutes to look over the menu and the staff provided some suggestions. We ordered all vegetarian tacos here which we were glad to see so many options . The waffle taco-very basic 2/5 -wouldn't order again very flavorless IMO . Fried avocado taco -5/5 , loved the textures and combo of flavors! Nopaitos taco- I did t try however my parter really enjoyed and he doesn't normally eat nopales so that's a good sign! The plantain taco 2/5 the beans had a lot of juice dripping from the taco, the plantains were hard and difficult to chew (we ended up just taking them off and trashing them. I was disappointed as I love plantains and was really looking forward to having this. Last time I came here I ordered the little man no chicken togo and I got home to find chicken in my order which I do not eat so that was also a bummer. They have lists of unique options both veggie and meat! Open late so that's a plus as well! I will be coming back and trying a few different things including the flan and the cantaloupe agua Fresca. I liked all of the plants they had both in and outdoors, as well as the chalk wall in the back. We had the pastor taco and chicken burrito. Food tasted burnt and dry from the pans they keep the food in and the avocado was over ripe. Pico de gallo was off tasting not fresh. Been wanting to pop in here for a while and tonight was finally the right time. The omega taco (ribeye and shrimp) was outstanding. Fresh and full of flavor. I think it also had queso (if so, they have really good queso!) According the my son ,the pastor (pork) and Jazz (ribeye and cactus) were both delicious. The el gobernador was decent but I felt like there was too much chipotle mayo. Omega was better. Shrimp was fresh in both! My son and I love sweet plantains, so we tried the plantain taco for grins. It was pretty good but next time I'd try some other stuff. Especially since they serve breakfast all day!!! The agua frescas were better than average. Don't sleep on the pineapple spinach (excellent), but the strawberry lemonade was good too. The dining area is nothing fancy but we had plenty of places to sit. Lots of to-go/delivery orders coming and going. Service was fine. Not bad but maybe could have tried a little harder to welcome first time patrons. I have become somewhat of a regular here because I pick up breakfast tacos for work once a week, and everyone is always so kind, so patient, and very thoughtful. They see me walking in and know it's me coming in and grab my usual order without me saying anything. Above and beyond customer service. Honorable mention that there's not a single taco I've tried that I haven't loved. And I'm obsessed with the red salsa, I can't get enough of it. I have also come here with my husband on the weekends and it just feels very relaxing and a place you'd want to be in the mornings for a good taco. The meat had great flavor, and I loved the crunch of the veggies on top. I thought the rice could use a little more seasoning, but it went well with the meat. The pulled pork one was even better. The pineapple Pico on top made the taco, imo and added a wonderful sweetness to the tender pork. I was surprised, but the falafel one was my absolute.
