Barbacoa and Bistek tacos
Macias S.

Amazing tacos! I got the Barbacoa and Bistek. My girlfriend got Bistek tacos as well as a torta cubana. Food was delicious and the service was friendly and fast.

This food truck was referred by my friend. It is a one man show and is cash only. There were many options you could choose from but I went with the one and only tacos. I ordered birria, chorizo, barbacoa and asada. Keep in mind real Mexican tacos use small corn tortillas. There was a condiment and toppings area that you could help yourself. If spice is not for you, I strongly do not suggest you put too much of the red or green sauce. I am not a soda person, but Mexican Coca Cola is on a whole new level of delicious. It is not too carbonated or sweet. There are plenty of picnic tables to sit down and devour your tacos.

6 mix tacos and Gordita

Ok unexpected place next to a gas station. There were several food trucks in the lot but this was the only taco truck at the moment. We got the street tacos that you can mix the different type of meat. The alpastor was a little dry, the barbacoa had some good flavor, had one with that was red pretty good. Also ordered a giant Gordita with beef it was that same dry beef almost like ground beef. Jut get a different meat and it would have been good. on the salsa bar, 3 different salsa with cucumbers, radishes, cactus salad, onions with habanero, Oh My God!!! It was a spicy eaters heaven, which is us!!! Wash it all down with some hard Jarritos from the gas station. Would come back again and maybe try the Cuban sandwiches and Philly cheesesteak if they have it.

Chicharron, barbacoa, and suadero street tacos

Wow this food was absolutely amazing! The flavor was out of this world and very authentic! This is definitely our new spot to get some good Mexican food. Meat was extremely moist and seasoned to perfection!

How the heck this place has 4.5 stars??? Everything was fine…read moreuntil we looked at the bill. The food is decent and the drinks are good, but they fraud customers with their happy hour promotion! The server, which is also the owner, gave us a menu and a happy hour menu. We compared the two and made sure our drinks are in the happy hour promotion. But in the bill it's the full price! We asked him why?? He said that we pointed at the regular menu drink and not the hh one! He said that the happy hour is way smaller and he gave us the big one because that's what I pointed on! But in the actual menu it doesn't say the size of the drink. It does say it in the hh menu 5oz... So I asked him how the hell could we know that?! This is absolutely ridiculous approach the scam your clients! No wonder this place is EMPTY on a Saturday night! Avoid at all cost! And if you got scammed and didn't say anything to this Ahole, this is your stage to do so!

I always try to support small, local establishments, but unfortunately, my visit this past…read moreSaturday, November 15, 2025, to Huahuasco Grill Mexican Cuisine (100 12th St #102, Pflugerville, TX) was highly disappointing When my cousin and I arrived, we were seated by a younger server who was polite and attentive at first. However, during our visit, an older gentleman who later identified himself as the owner passed our table several times without acknowledging us, greeting us, or checking to see if we had been helped. After we placed our order, another couple came in, and the owner immediately attended to them and other tables while continuing to bypass ours. Their food was served before ours, even though we had been seated for over 30 minutes. It turned out that our food had been mistakenly taken to the wrong table. The older server removed the plate from the other table and brought the food to us, but I can't say whether that food had been touched. When our plates were finally set down, my cousin's dish appeared correct at first glance, but mine was not. I had ordered beef enchiladas with red sauce, but I was served green sauce, which I do not eat. When I politely mentioned the error, the younger server insisted that I had ordered green sauce, claiming that's what was in the computer, even after my cousin confirmed otherwise. Both servers exchanged comments in Spanish, and I asked that the incorrect dish be removed from the bill without being remade. My cousin then realized her cheese enchiladas were undercooked. The cheese wasn't melted and had little square pieces like shredded cheese from the bag. After taking my incorrect plate back, our server never returned to our table. My cousin asked the older gentleman, who identified himself as the owner, if he knew where our waiter was. He immediately stopped serving the couple who had come in after us and asked if there was a problem. My cousin explained that her enchiladas weren't fully melted, and without even looking at the plate, he insisted, "Yes, it is melted. I'm the owner, I know it's melted." He then turned to me and said, "You're just mad because you wanted red sauce, but you ordered green sauce." I replied that I wasn't mad yet and that he shouldn't tell me how I feel. I also pointed out that his behavior was very argumentative for an owner, especially since my cousin confirmed my order and her own dish was clearly undercooked. Instead of listening, he continued to talk over me loudly. I asked several times for the check so we could pay for what we had and leave (one Pepsi and the undercooked enchiladas). Instead, he said, "If you don't want it, don't pay. Just leave." We definitely left; it was clear he didn't want us in the restaurant. I told him that his customer service and the way he speaks to customers were unacceptable. He never apologized and continued to raise his voice, then immediately turned to another table to apologize to them. They had witnessed me calmly asking for my receipt multiple times so I could pay. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the lack of professionalism, refusal to listen, dismissive attitude, and hostility from someone claiming to be the owner were deeply concerning. I am sharing this out of genuine concern for others who may consider visiting this establishment. Customer service matters, and everyone deserves to be treated with basic respect.

We sat for about 5 minutes and as Jonathan walked by Mike asks Will you be our waiter? He politely stated no but immediately asked what we wanted. I paid $13ish not including tip for this small little cup of queso and oil. I complained at the front counter regarding the size and oil content, however, the apparent manager who assisted me basically disregarded me all together. Now... I've purchased large orders of queso from several other good restaurants (Ramos, Vivos... to name a couple) and it has never been soo dang small nor has it ever been topped with soo much damn oil!!!! Also, for to-go orders typically you'd seperate the guacamole so your customer can add it chilled to the hot queso as they see fit. Note to self ( and others)... DON'T waste your hard earned money here especially if they could care less about their product. And note to Casa Garcia's Management... Atleast litsen to and acknowledge your customers! There's no reason this should've been served!
