It was time to try a new Mexican restaurant in our area. As an American Mexican, i have way different expectations of Mexican food/ restaurants. This unfortunately did not meet or exceed any... i came in with none. We ordered Quesabirria tacos. My wife got the order with the beans and rice... rosarita beans and mediocre rice. Minutes after eating the tacos i had a horrible lingering feeling in my mouth of grease.. i lined my mouth with lard it felt like. The consome/ soup type that you dip the taco into had garbanzo beans ... what in the culinarily missapropriated food item was that In MEXICAN food!!!???? The overbearing music that cuts out every 16 notes is obnoxious and loud. They have a few TVs for games, but doesnt seem like there was any thought as to placement. Need to do better I did take a peek at some plates around us... the chile verde looked good. So you know me, i will not slam a restaurant without the benefit of the doubt, so i will come back and have that, i hope its not just my topo chico what tastes good again

Awesome warm tomate salsa and a big Dos XX

My first time in Texas and I wanted to eat some real Mexican food. This place was recommended by a friend and did NOT disappoint. From the homemade tomate salsa and chips to the quesabirria tacos and soup, I was blown away. Everything is delicious, well portioned, and I would guess authentic. I'm a gringo. The beans and rice with some salsa and fresh onion and cilantro were the perfect side. Super good. Super cheap. And Mexican soccer on every TV at the bar. Check this place out! Super nice staff and patrons. Parking isn't ideal but who cares.

Terrible service. I was very excited to come eat here since a friend from work recommended this place, and said it was worth it, said the prices were great. The prices were really great. Their taco cost three dollars, tortas are around eight dollars. The size of the food is good. I thought it was tasty, but the service ruined. The entire experience was ruined by the service, they had no idea what was going on. They kept coming back to my table, asking about the tortillas, flour or corn, what was the salsa I had asked for, had I ordered already? They were so lost, you could tell they had no idea what was going on, and they did not know how to do their work. It was pretty tasty, kind of very greasy, but not that bad, again terrible service.

I stumbled across Taco More while looking for a new Taco place in Round Rock. It did not disappoint! From chips to tacos, everything was hot, fresh & tasty! I ordered 3 tacos: Goat, carnitas & head beef. I liked the carnitas & head beef the best. The goat just wasn't my cup of tea. The tacos are $3 each, so my bill was around $10 before tip. Great value for the cost, and pretty popular too. I didn't have to wait, but it was filling up quickly! One star knocked off for slow service in placing my order & getting my check so I could leave. Otherwise great experience!

Nah 18$ for this Casa More do better. You seem to be a little short staffed so I'll cut you some slack on that one. For the amount of money i spend and time wasted to open up my box to it looking like this is just disappointing. I hope this review reached the correct person to resolve this matter but in the meantime count your freaking days.

Goat Quesobirria Plate. Not too flavorful afterall

I really tried to like this place but after a few rounds I just can't. The recommendations come as they have goat tacos. Quite a unique offering comparatively in Austin. Well I've tried goat tacos in regular corn tortilla form and then in quesobirria form. Both needed some additional salt. Not much seasoning or fat to make up for it. I would even say the regular beef carnitas or beef head is more flavorful. The consume birria broth was warm water with hint of smoky spice chili with hominy that were too crunchy for my preference. I also tried the chile relleno with cheese as generally, those are difficult to messed up (fried cheese) but to the biggest disappointment, the cheese inside was not cooked all the way it was not melted. It was cubed and crumbly resembling the appearance of hard tofu. Similarly, little flavor but the fried part was good and fatty enough. It did come with a side of sauce that helped tremendously but all it all still bad. Rice was scrapped from the bottom of the pot due to its spotty burn marks and then beans were just okay. They added extra fat in there but again, need salt.

Taco More has delicious tacos! The service was fast and friendly. They have low priced and good quality food. I ordered the pulled chicken tacos, they where GREAT! I will have to go back and try other dishes, if you are ever in Round Rock, TX check out Taco More.

This place is consistently excellent whether you get my personal favorite, the carnitas, the fajita tacos or the Al pastor. The beans and rice are simply my very favs. I also LOVE their salsa/chips. The margaritas are always good too. This place never disappoints.

Well Let me say I've never been here but, I won't return. Refried beans were watery and tasteless Rice was white and tastiness Salsa was served hot, so hot in temperature I think I burned my tongue We said no avocado bc we have allergy-served it anyway Wtf? Tortillas store bought and bland to say least Service slacked off and became non existent Please Don't waste your time

Food is expensive for weight and flavor. They need a better group of dishes that compliment the side dishes.

So got a steak taco, barbacoa taco and a chicken quesadilla. The staff was extremely nice. I explained I couldn't have any cross contamination with pork she made sure the kitchen knew, which was greatly appreciated. So the barbacoa was ok, steak was very good and the chicken in the quesadilla was probably my least favorite only because I'm not sure if it's meant to be grilled, fried or simmered. But the chicken seemed like it was boiled then put in the quesadilla and fried on the flat top which would have been fine but the chicken seemed quite dry. Maybe I came in at a bad time not sure because when I had it at the truck I was dreaming about it for weeks so maybe it was just not my day but over all it wasn't bad and the 3 star is more because my expectations were set based on the other location. I am definitely going to be back to chase that first time flavor again but this time it just missed the mark unfortunately.

Stumbled on this place while headed to Hoody's and it was packed so we popped in. Seat yourself - nothing fancy. The vibe here is local Mexican restaurant. The server was nice but became more engaged when I spoke Spanish to her. She greeted us with chips and two warm bowls of charro beans, which were absolutely delicious. My husband had a Cuban-style torta which was huge and he inhaled. It's not a Cubano - it's a traditional torta with ham and cheese added. He had fajita steak in his and said it was phenomenal. Honestly we could have split this and both been full. I have the taquitos plate. I went with chicken breast and al pastor (2 of each). Came with optional cilantro and onions (don't skip) and grilled onions/pepper plus a side. I couldn't finish it. The chicken was soooo good - very flavorful and not dry, some of the best chicken breast I've had in a while. The Al pastor was good too, but the chicken was exceptional, which I never thought I'd prefer! Under $30 with drinks and tip, this was very very good. The chicken soup others were enjoying also looked stellar - nobody was looking up from their bowl. Great little find. Will definitely be back!

It's more of an outdoor, picnic-style setup that honestly feels like you're at a family barbecue, which made the experience even better. The food was excellent. The birria and barbacoa were rich, tender, and full of flavor. You can tell the meat is cooked the traditional way. They also offer traditional cuts like cabeza and lengua. I tried them even though they're not really my personal preference, but I appreciated that they offer those authentic options. What really stood out was the hospitality. The gentleman working there was awesome. He showed us the barbecue pit and even gave me a taste of fresh lamb barbacoa straight from the pit, which was incredibly tender and flavorful. At the end they were already cleaning up and closing, but I asked for a jamaica and he still brought it over and didn't even charge me for it.
