Ade was hands-down one of the best servers I've ever had. Truly phenomenal. From the moment we sat down, she was warm, welcoming, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. Our drinks were outstanding, her recommendations were spot-on, and she made the entire experience feel effortless and fun. We're visiting Texas from California to see family, and this was our first time dining here. After reading some mixed reviews beforehand, I was unsure what to expect--but I honestly don't understand the negativity at all. Seating was quick, service was fast, and everything ran smoothly. The food took slightly longer than I'm used to, but it wasn't long at all--and once it arrived, it was absolutely worth it. The food was fantastic, and if people experienced longer waits, I imagine they came during a much busier time. Ade truly made this experience exceptional. Her energy, professionalism, and attention to detail elevated everything. If you're lucky enough to have her as your server, you're in great hands. This was an amazing first dining experience in Texas, and if I am to visit again in Texas we'll definitely be back--hopefully with Ade again!

It looks like it's about to taste good but it's awful

Fake tortillas, no seasoning, and a total letdown. How do you have a Mexican restaurant with FAKE TORTILLAS??? From the moment our food arrived, it was clear this was going to be a disaster. The tortillas tasted store-bought and rubbery, and absolutely nothing was seasoned--just bland, lifeless food across the board. The fajitas were dry with no seasoning. The beans were especially awful. My son never got his food & we were done eating, it never came out. Everything was wrong as well. Our bill was $160 for food that tasted a** To make things worse, the service was just as bad. Our service was super slow. One of our orders was wrong and never corrected because no one came back to check on us until it was time to drop the bill. I left feeling disappointed, ignored, and ripped off. I won't be back--and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Nena's was not a planned stop but when there are hungry children around and the restaurant you had planned to go to had a seriously long wait you look for any port in a storm. Fortunately, Yelp came through and we rerouted to Nena's for dinner. We walked in and while the main dining room was a little full they opened the dining area and we were the only ones there so it was quiet. The menu was a combination of Tex-Mex and traditional. I saw they had Caldo de Res and immediately ordered that along with their Jamaica. The soup was delicious, warm for body and soul; it was that good. I haven't been up to Georgetown in a while but it might be good enough reason to go.

So I've had several dishes from this restaurant. It's authentic Mexican, not Texmex, this dish is hands down one of the best I've had. Amazing flavors, the pork is soft and the guajillo sauce is very tasty. Just wish they would include Mexican rice. They only offer beans, refried or de la olla. (Whole bean) The tortillas are home made. You have a choice of Tomatillo or Guajillo sauce, Def recommended the guajillo. Try it, won't disappoint It's a bit expensive than your traditional Mexican restaurant. But definitely worth it

Love their white queso. Good food and reasonable prices. $9.99 lunch specials. Serves breakfast all day.

    Huevos Divorciados

Solid experience for my first visit. The place was hopping on a Sunday morning! The huevos divorciados were pretty good, the addition of ham underneath was a nice surprise, I have not seen that before. Prices reasonable. Extensive menu, I look forward to trying some other options.

There is a generous menu which includes a children's menu.

We went to this restaurant for Mother's Day. This is an extremely authentic Mexican restaurant. On the walls you can find artwork reflecting The day of the dead holiday. There are many wooden tables and a few booths. Everyone who worked there was very friendly. They have high chairs for babies. The food was good, not the best I've tasted. I had taquitos, which I was impressed to find in Texas. I felt they were over cooked and they were not served with guacamole, instead they were served with a hot sauce. My son had empanadas, he did not care for them. My daughter had shrimp flautas, and they were good. My other son had a sandwich, and he seem to enjoy it, but none of the food was the best we've ever tasted. This is a good place to go for a casual lunch. I would not go here for a holiday or a date. All in all, a decent restaurant.

We stumbled upon this restaurant after getting coffee. We were greeted immediately and the ambiance was cute. We were told to sit at a table with the number 2 and shortly after a server greeted us. We got chips and salsa when our waters were placed on the table and we ordered our food. I got the taco bowl and my husband ordered the tacos. Both were great and filling! The chips had a shred of lettuce which made me question how sanitary it was in the kitchen. I would come back here because of how tasty and authentic the food is. I paid at the front and the meal was very affordable. I will definitely come back here for breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed our meal and got a warm welcome here. I could see parking being hard to find on a busy evening but we were able to park right in the front no problem.

We had an early dinner so the restaurant wasn't too terribly busy and the ambience was nice. We could talk to each other without having to speak too loudly. My husband enjoyed watching soccer on the television. Our server promptly gave us menus. Got us waters, chips, two salsas and some guacamole. My husband ordered shrimp enchiladas and I got chicken Flautas and my husband got a strawberry margarita. The food came out hot and quickly. We enjoyed it immensely & the guacamole was fantastic. My husband loved his margarita, but I had to drive home! Ha ha. And to top it off, dinner is very affordable here. Their prices are very good. Our server was Angie and she was amazing. She was very attentive to my meal because she had the knowledge of my food allergies. Our service was so good that I'm going to ask for Angie every time I come here. Since I have to be so careful when I eat because I get horribly sick if I eat any cheese or sour cream, it's nice to be confident that I can eat here without worry because Angie's got my back! She really made a difference in my experience at this restaurant. Thanks Angie:)

I mentioned to my wife that these kinds of places often have kitchens and boy we were in luck. The man in charge, Albert, descended on us and started simultaneously asking what we wanted to order AND praising the virtues of his tamales, among other things. But he had me at "Birria". After being introduced to birria tacos by my lifelong friend, Joel, I have been a huge fan ever since. So we called an audible and decided to get an order for takeout (Albert could convince you to buy anything, I think). We got two orders of Corn QuesaBirria Tacos and the Jalapeño Popper Specialty Taco. Both were great and I especially liked the Birria Tacos, even eating my wife's portion... "You going to eat that?" The restaurant has many tables and there's enough room around the tables so one can talk comfortably without being overheard, I like that. There's plenty of room around the tables for a wheelchair and it's easy to get through the restaurant with a wheelchair, which is nice. The bathroom has railings on both sides so a person in the wheelchair can get in and out easily. There's handicapped parking right in front. When I arrived, the restaurant was almost empty, which was strange to me, given the early evening hour and past visits. This place has been jampacked, standing room only. The slogan on the wall "Andamos Al Cien" Is a great goal for the bar area, but on my visit, it fell woefully short. The house margarita was barely drinkable, although the presentation was nice, the actual beverage itself in the glass was something less desirable/drinkable. The bartender commented when I ordered my next margarita, with specific ingredients, he said that should make a much better beverage than what you had the last time. Although, It was better, it was not a a great drink, it was not well balanced, something was off. The food itself, the chicken fajita quesadillas was very average food, and I have to question the chicken fajita component. The chicken did not taste that great and it tasted and appeared to be more like a shredded chicken than a fajita chicken. The flavor just wasn't up to the standard of what I have come to know and expect from a great chicken fajita. Service itself, was OK, but nothing spectacular. The bartender did a decent job of keeping my alcoholic beverage needs filled, but my water glass did not receive the attention it deserved and I had to frequently ask for it to be refilled, when I would expect that your normal server/bartender would see that it was empty and either refill it or ask if it needed to be refilled instead of waiting for me to bring it to their attention Super friendly, bartender, and I have heard great things about their food, so I am thinking I may have just caught them on an off night and will give them another chance. If this place was jampacked like it normally is, I think my experience would have been much different.

This is a very scenic and modern upscale restaurant near the heart of downtown Georgetown. The interior is nicely appointed and understatedly elegant. The inside and outside restaurant and bar areas are expansive but easily outstrip the provided parking. There is also street parking nearby, but don't be surprised if you wind up walking from nearby public lots or garages. I can easily see this place being packed. We had a reservation and were promptly seated and offered water service. As with most Mexican restaurants, there's an expansive menu, so we ordered drinks while we perused the menu. I found the Encantada margarita to be quite tasty, but it was a bit expensive. At $11 for a single serving with house liquors, closer to what we've come to expect locally for a Mexican martini (theirs was $18 with house, $24 with call). That's a bit over-the-top IMHO. We were offered complimentary chips and salsa; I remember the chips to be excellent, and the red salsa just right for my taste, but others remarked that it was too spicy. Our waitress (Paulina) joked that the only thing less spicy was their ketchup. They also have a green salsa, which is even spicier, but that we all skipped. The food menu has a lot of chef-inspired offerings. I tried the Grilled Chicken Tacos (Grilled Chicken, Cilantro, Onion, Fresco Cheese) at $16. I had one on flour and one on corn to taste the difference in tortillas with the same ingredients, along with a side bowl of black beans. I found them flavorful but also on the small side for the price. Additional tacos are $5 each. No rice was offered. This was one of their least expensive plates. We had a great time and our drink and food service was nothing less than excellent, but I couldn't help but come away feeling that, for a check that tabbed in just under $100 (with tip) we should have had a fuller tummy. Would we come back? Maybe. We'll have to explore their other options and perhaps graze more off the appetizer menu; however, less than $5 separate most of their appetizers from their plate dinners. This is a place to go for a culinary and visual experience, not an everyday meal.
