My total for two items--the Bourbon Brisket and the loaded fries--came out to nearly $40. I don't mind paying that much for good food, but unfortunately it just wasn't worth the price in this case. On top of that, the owner (or the person working the truck) was pretty rude and spent most of the interaction on the phone, which made the experience feel dismissive. Overall, between the price and the customer service, I'd rather spend my $40 somewhere else. read more

Food truck in rainy street serving BBQ and Venezulean fusion items. I saw the BBQ - Venezuelan arepa hybrid and was so excited as I love both those things. Unfortunately - I ended up perplexed as to how something could have been so cheesy, saucy, fried / oily, and bland at the same time. I tried the smoked pork arepa ($11) and even asked for hot sauce for dipping - it was packed with cubes of pork in melty cheese for sure, but the whole thing lacked flavor for some reason. It was on the small side too (snack size) a I had a full dinner afterwards. At the next door food truck you can get a giant burrito for about the same price. Anyways, I feel bad with the 3 star because the lady at the truck was so sweet. I'd recommend to try one of the other meats - perhaps the fattier cuts afford more flavor. read more

Paid $26 for loaded fries. Went up when my buzzer rang and they gave me a pork platter. Told them it was the wrong item. They shrugged and told me to wait longer. I checked the menu. Fries are $5 cheaper than the plate. They charged me the price of the plate and not the fries. Asked them for the difference, and they looked at me saying that it was only $5. They were refusing to give me the $5 until the guy cooking cursed and said to just give the change. Food was fine, but just unethical. The lady was extremely rude as well and just threw the plate of food without saying anything. No sorry; no acknowledgement of a mistake. All other trucks here are great and have amazing service. Not sure if we caught them on a bad day, but was extremely put off by their attitude. read more

This food truck is also at Barton Creek farmers market, and my friend and I were blown away by how delicious their pulled pork sandwich was. The bread was incredibly light and soft, and the pork was SO moist and juicy. With the added cheese and some tomato to cut the grease, it's definitely got to be one of my favorite sandwiches I've ever had. We can't wait to visit the actual food truck because holy moly was this an incredible sandwich. read more

Major disappointment. I never write reviews, but my desire to protect the public warrants one this time. The truck has two pictures on the side, both displaying delicious food. One shows birria chips, the other birria tacos. Since I was with a group, I went with the birria chips; the obvious shareable option. It turns out they don't sell birria chips notwithstanding the picture, so I reluctantly went tacos. After 15 minutes my buzzer goes off, so I went to pick up my tacos. Unfortunately, that is not what I got. Instead, I got a tiny quesadilla that would disappoint my children. I shrugged it off, and asked for some consome, a necessity with any birria dish. My initial request was declined by an offer of hot sauce. After I complained, I got a cup a flavorless cup of grease. $20 poorly spent. I suggest you spend your money elsewhere. read more

Texas OU wknd and this place is packed. Unfortunately the owner put two ladies with very bad English in charge. I'm literally watching customers and the staff get frustrated trying to communicate orders. A lot of people choosing to walk away and go to another food truck. I feel bad for the two employees. The food was not fresh, not what I was expecting. It was the only food option open at Ani's and I wish I had not ordered it. I ordered the keto option (lettuce instead of a bun) and I still got the bun. Big disappointment. Also they were out of fries. read more

Dang! This is one of those places that you test out first to see if it is as good as you think...then you go back twice because you can't get enough!! We split an order of tacos (pork and picanha with provolone cheese) between my son and my wife and I instantly regretted not getting my own, so I went back....twice. I had more tacos and the picanha sandwich, dang! The sauces BBQ and aioli are even better on the sandwich. We hit up the Wolf Ranch location and we are definitely going back next weekend!!! read more

Food truck was at COTA in early June, did not have a good experience. It took 45 minutes to get my food out (I was on a 1hr break), the two folks working were so slow to get food out, they did not see the urgency of a line of 20+ people all on a single 1hr break. The sandwich was not good. I ordered the Miranda, but it was just a pork bbq sandwitch with minimal sauce. Couldn't detect any of the fancy ingredients like aoli or tomato in the final sandwich. The pork belly itself was so fatty that I had to spit out several pieces. Yes pork belly is supposed to be fatty and moist, this was just the worst unchewable fat. $18.99 + tax + tip, almost $25 for just a bun with fatty pork. Awfurl. read more

Easily the best Latino food I've ever had PERIOD. Service was amazing as both the owner and employee greeted me with joy and great hospitality. The mix Arepas are a MUST try! The smokiness of the pork paired perfectly with the homemade aioli they garnished the flatbread with was one of the best first bites I've ever had. A great food truck stop on the lively Rainey Street. There are a few food trucks on this strip. However, you can't go wrong with Pork Booty. The brisket sandwich was large and flavorful. It was a quieter Sunday but the sandwich was still fairly good. I appreciated the included bed of chips it came with. This was a larger sandwich than expected. Took ~10min for the food to come out and was not many people in the complex on the day. I would consider coming back if I'm in the area. read more

I am NOT a BBQ fanatic. My husband is. We went to Cedar Park Market Days at the beginning of this year and my husband got hungry. He decided to check this place out. It was right next to the beer trailer,so very handy too. He ordered a mixed sandwich,and offered me a bite. I have no idea what kind of magic dust they must sprinkle on these sandwiches,but I immediately became an addict. Got my own sandwich, and refused to share. I could've gotten a couple more to take home,but didn't want to look like a pig! Anyway, ever since then,we have gone to the Market Day ( every 3 weeks) Missed out once because of weather and they weren't open. They also go to the Georgetown Farmers Market. I also discovered that I love Macarons! There is a lady that sells them and they are a perfect desert to go with these sandwiches. Today we hit up the Market, and NEITHER one of these businesses were there. Talk about a horrible letdown! I am hoping it's just a nightmare I'll wake up from,and that they will both be there in 3 weeks! Please,oh please oh please!
