What a delightful darling find to come upon on Valentines while visiting family north of Austin! Precious mom and pop shop offering all the sweetest treats including gluten free! Liz and Angela were so kind and helpful as I preordered chocolate covered strawberries over the phone day before pickup! When I stopped in I had to get my coffee fix and they made a marvelous latte, this lil spot is a must if ever in the Leander/Cedar Park hood! read more

I was hunting for a bakery to make a custom order cake for my birthday and came across this one on yelp funnily enough. -Service: Liz was so so kind and you could tell she genuinely loves what she does. She's been doing this for a long time and you can tell based on her work. I showed her a picture for inspiration and she blew me away with the design. Not to mention the flavor!!! Chocolate cake with raspberry frosting! -Ambiance: Very cute place on the outside and inside. When I went to pick my cake up today it was all decorated for halloween which I thought was adorable. Only thing is she's very busy (as she should be!! she deserves all the clients!!) so just be sure to give her ample time if you're doing a custom order! Pricing is extremely reasonable for the quality & labor involved So happy about my purchase!! read more

A cute little pastry shop right on old 183. That brown butter coffee cake was delicious! We also tried the salted caramel pear pastry (good, but not as noteworthy as the coffee cake). I put in an order for a birthday cake, and they were great about the tight turn around; I'll update my review to reflect how scrumptious it is once I've tried it! Honestly, the only thing that I think this place could improve is offering more variety in coffee (right now it's just drip, though the flavor & roast change regularly). read more

I ordered gender reveal cupcakes from the business a few months ago and they were a HIT! So cute, and so delicious. At first glance the frosting looked excessive, but after tasting it, I wanted more on there! The cupcakes were so cute, so yummy, customer service was awesome. This place is amazing! We stopped in when they first opened. The vibe is super cute and they had a ton of options. We took a variety of cupcakes home as well as a fun color changing glass tumbler (which I love). Also had the pleasure of meeting the owner Lizz who is AMAZING! I was hooked then! Last night we attended a wedding that had a full spread of their treats and I can not stop thinking about how delicious their cupcakes are. I had 3 flavors of their mini cupcakes and they did not disappoint. I highly recommend The Sweet Cupfé whether you need a quick treat or planning your next event. read more

We ordered a cake for our daughter's 7th birthday and we cannot understate how amazing this cake was. It was beautifully decorated exactly to our specification, and the flavor was amazing. We got a buttercream icing with their chocolate chocolate-chip cake. It was light, fluffy, and not overly sweet. Every single guest, adult and child alike, stated over and over how amazing the cake was. We are so happy we decided to support a local small business. Better order with them now while their rates are affordable, because in a supply and demand economy, they could almost charge whatever they want. How delicious!! I stopped in here on a whim as I have passed it before and decided to give it a shot... DELICIOUS CUPCAKES!!!! I cannot speak for other desserts as these were the only items purchased. Wedding Cupcake, Peanut Butter, and cookies and cream cupcakes were top notch. I absolutely love that the icing isn't strictly buttercream as it's a very enjoyable bite.. and I say bite because the cupcakes are small. For the price, I wish there was more cupcake ... that's my only complaint... $3.50/ cupcake and they're fairly tiny... somewhere between a mini cupcake to an average homemade size... but definitely a good bite! I'll be curious to try some other items in the future! read more

Thank you so much, Lizz, for making my baby girls first birthday so special. Lizz's communication was spot on from the get-go. I told her my daughter loved rainbows and she sent me some ideas right away. I picked one for the birthday cake and one for the "smash cake" and picked them up a couple of days later. ADORABLE(see pictures!). We went with the typical kid friendly white cake, but this one was extra fluffy and delicious. We didn't have any left to take home, and our guests said that it was the best birthday cake they had ever had at a child's bday. Thank you Lizz for helping us celebrate our daughters first birthday! These are by far the best desserts I have ever had. The gluten free is to die for and tastes exactly like the wheat versions - not dry or major aftertaste or grit. Flavors are outstanding! My kids are peanut/tree nut free and with a quick request, Lizz will make sure the desserts are 100% safe. Plus, her frosting is so amazing - not overly sweet or made from shortening. We had Lizz make a custom cake for our daughter's birthday. We are pretty picky about our cakes an Lizz made a phenomonal strawberry cake with Chantilly icing. She put fresh strawberries between the layers. The cake was so moist and tasted amazing. The cake looked alright, however, they did not fully follow the instructions provided when we ordered. Design details were missed, and it truly looks like they rushed on the cake. For $100, we expected more out of it. The cake itself did not taste great - it was very dense, and the filling they used was not what we ordered. He asked for a vanilla cake with a whipped cream and fresh strawberry filling. They had used a white buttercream instead, and also put an inedible fondant covering the entire cake. This turned what was supposed to be a light and airy strawberry shortcake into more of an overly sweet and dense cake, I do want to note that they did not ask any follow up questions about what to use for the cakes icing or anything of the sort (which I find strange especially at this price point for a small cake) when my husband sent in the request. They also told him they put candles in the box, but there were none. We tried to reach out to the business to resolve this offline, and they did not respond. Recently we got their signature fatcarons - whipped vanilla and biscoff. The biscoff was good but the vanilla was like a DELICIOUS PILLOW! And yes, they are like pudgy macaroons! Also tried their cupcakes, with the standout (SO light but flavorful) being their taro milk tea one. The red velvet one was a bit more dense & the icing less light. We got four different cake bites and not sure what this is called but it was like cake in a container, Oreo/Cookie Monster. The cake container was my favorite! The small cake bites, confetti, red velvet, strawberry shortcake, and I don't remember. Either wedding cake or vanilla. The cake bites were a mix of dry with what seemed no flavor, maybe because it was dry/old. The red velvet was more moist and delicious! I'd give the place another try but with fresh options. The employee was polite, very informative. It's a cute little shop, bathroom was in a separate building, not a far walk. Outside seating, in front and back of shop, vending machine with their products. Giving three stars because of how dry, possibly old the cake bites were. Again, I'd try again in hopes of options that are fresh. I assume on Monday they are baking fresh products that may not been out yet.

Love Whipped! Try to stop in anytime we are in the area…read more Everything that I've had here is high quality and (true to name) pretty light & airy. The team at the counter is patient as you drool over their goodies in the cases, and ready to whip you up a beverage when you're ready. Also like their choux (bread filled with fluffy cream), but I think they have less of them daily so go early for those

We had placed an order 10 days before our event. Our order was Simple a cake in a simple color, blue, with happy birthday written on there. We went to pick it up and were told to wait 15 min. After 15 came back in and was told just another 5 min. 5 min goes by and someone else came out and said they never made our cake. They can make a smaller size instead and compensate 1/2 our money back or else refund us our money. Is this even a choice at that time when it was the day of the event?!? So we choice the smaller size of course. Come to find out later that day when we cut into the cake all the cream spilled out of the cake like melted ice cream and the only thing holding it together on the outside was the fondant. I emailed the owner and nothing no response not even an apology. Not a good way to do business. And a horrible way to celebrate our son's first bday!!! Never will i recommend them to anyone for a customer cake or order ever again.
