The pound cake was incredibly moist with fresh fruits and vanilla icing drizzled on. The Samoa was new to me - coconut and dark chocolate was a nice decadent with soft but firm inside. The green chili scone was the only savory/spicy purchase and unlike other scones, this came out without being too starchy and dry. The coffee cake was amazing - especially the moist layer. We had four pots of tea: Classic English Breakfast, Earl Gray, Peach White, and Coconut Oolong. It goes without saying that the English Brekkie and Earl Gray were perfectly brewed and delicious. The Peach White and Coconut Oolong were also perfectly brewed. The Peach White was fragrant and flavorful. Same for the Coconut Oolong though it was more fragrant with a less robust flavor. Still delicious. The tea sandwiches were served on perfectly fresh and soft white bread. Cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches are always my favorite, without question. The Strawberry Devonshire Scone was to die for! I really enjoyed the heart-shaped Rosemary biscuit that had a hint of parmesean flavor as well. The apricot Stilton cheese was flavorful and exactly how you want a Stilton to taste. Service was outstanding. The decor was brilliant, absolute perfection. For folks who don't know, a dirty soda is a drink consisting of soda "spiked" with cream and flavored syrups or fruit juices. I elected to go with the Rhode Island Red! They seem to have their act together following the Rona guidelines and a very nice person will assist you by selecting your goodies from the cases. The sweet empanada was my favorite. We also purchased pumpkin pig cookies, & concha sweet bread. We bought enough for two hearty servings and we looked forward to having these delights with our breakfast the next day.
