Coffee ice cream shake and Hershey's Syrup. OMG So delicious!
    Joel T.

Best shake I've ever had and in a bright, ice cream parlor environment, Wonderful, OK, so some night think there's an age where you outgrow an ice cream parlor. Or, young people neither care nor know what an ice cream parlor is. The Yard Milkshake Bar defies time and shares with all generations the joy of ice cream creations done well in ageless fashion, Entering the Yard you're greeted with that immediate chill of summer relief from the cool interior and you just instinctively know what's coming. There's is a large selection of creamy, taste-saturated ice cream choices. The service was quick at the counter and the employees were eager to offer their knowledge of the delicious options. I, sticking to my fave go-to, asked about coffee flavored choices, There were several (including one with ice cream doused in iced coffee!), I got the coffee ice cream milk shake with Hershey's chocolate and whipped cream topping. They bring your selection to you at your table (there are patio tables as well as interior seating), I took that one, deeply inhaling first sip of my thick, savory creation and I said a prayer: "Dear Lord , please minimize my brain freezies because this is going down fast!" The BEST shake I've ever had. As I slurped it down, a group of teens arrived, made a hasty order and were soon treated too a group-sized, massive sundae creation, Old school, new generation, I enjoyed my shake down to the last, luscious mix of ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate spponful, Know that the location is at the back of a maze of strip centers but it is at the very back -- just keep going, you'll find your reward! Definitely going back,

I came here with a large group of family and friends and everyone had a good time. There's a large variety of ice-creams and shakes. Although it was a bit overwhelming, it was nice. I had the mint chocolate chip ice cream and enjoyed the creaminess and the chocolate chips. I dropped my ice-cream on the floor and the servers were so nice, they replaced it for free. I also liked that there's a lot of seating inside and outside. I'd definitely come here again.

Stopped by for a Sunday milkshake treat and wow -- so many flavors to choose from! The special milkshakes are $17.50 and worth every cent if you're in the mood to indulge. They also have specialty bowls for $11.50. Tipping is optional, but the staff is super friendly and accommodating definitely adds to the experience. Highly recommend if you're looking to treat yourself! Very family friendly and the decors ere so cute.

    Cold brew coffee

I tried the cold brew coffee and it's honestly one of the best brews I've ever had! Smooth, bold and perfectly balanced. The yard milkshake bar never disappoints.

The snickers I can't remember the exact name but it was delicious!!!

Delicious and so many options! Costumer service was great they talk you through some of the choices! Cute vibe We were definitely repeat customers!

The Yards ambiance hits you in the face in the good kind of way...it's welcoming and a very home vibe. The menu can be overwhelming so I recommend taking a moment to go through it when you arrive or before. If you're looking for a shake experience The Yard has the experience and shake. The staff was friendly and ready to answer all our questions...side note you get to keep the jar!!! There is a wash station to the back and a fun activity with the kiddos. We got two shakes to try cookie and brownie. They were the right amount of overwhelming chocolate and cookie fun. I will say the items used to dress our brownie shake were eye appealing but flavor wise a generic flavor. There would could be some improvement in the quality of decor items. The Yard is an experience though and I hope you get the chance to take a companion and enjoy it.

Once upon a time, the best ice cream! They have vegan options, too. This is something that you must enjoy yourself to understand. Homemade! The end.

Their milkshakes brought all my kids to the yard. Dang! So many flavors! Cone, cup, bowl, or jar. Eat up the ice cream and you will go far.

This is every kids dream ice cream shop, seriously. I went with my daughter and both of us were left breathless by how amazing the ice cream selection was!!! We ended up ordering the Unicorn with birthday cake ice cream instead of cotton candy ice cream- OUT OF THIS WORLD. The whip cream had colored edges, sprinkles galore, cotton candy on the side, every detail was perfect. The staff was super friendly even when my daughter and her little friend were being sugar high crazy lol. I loved that they had a sink to wash out the jars for transport home! The jars run around $16, just buy that $1 lid at the counter because it'll come in handy on the way home. We did get some cookie dough and here's my thoughts- eat it in store because it's fluffy and delicious there. I put ours in the fridge when we got home and the texture really changed in a not so pleasant way. My only suggestion would be- please add some feature where the kids can work that sugar high out of their system. I feel like a place like this should always have a play area because as soon as that sugar hit the kids went nuts.

Well , Kellis has a new challenger for who's milkshake brings all the "boys" to The Yard. Holy shit this place is a ghostbusters lunch box treasure chest of sweet and savory. I know I know , late to the game. But pro-tip - I don't eat sweets and have a pretty restrictive diet- so- too bad. I brought my son and his friend for a mid week milk shake shenanigan showdown. The breakfast blend Doughnut for dads day ( secret menu) Butter beer (secret menu) These shakes are legit. Get it as a Sunday or a milkshake. I couldn't eat all of mine obviously- so you can get a to go lid for $1.00 Now, these golden egg wonka shakes are almost $20 each. But, you do get to keep the glass ( yay :/) so be prepared to spend as much as going to a restaurant for 4 ppl for three shakes. Thanks for eating with me today. I'll see you next time.

I came here today with Thing Two for #nationalicecreamday We ordered two items. Thing Two ordered two scopes of ice cream which included one scope of rainbow sherbet and one scope of cookie dough. She seemed to be a fan of the rainbow sherbet but not the cookie dough, *but I am* so, I ate it :) I ordered the Specialty Bowl; Cherry Key Limeade Bowl. I've had this item many times and it is my favorite of any of the offerings here. The concoction consists of Cherry Limeade ice cream with a side cup cake. The cupcake is not my favorite as its usually dry (I assume that's because its frozen and thawed for the consumer as opposed to freshly baked). However, I don't come here or to any Milkshake bar location for the cupcakes. Overall, this franchise provides consumers an opportunity to have some fun with a whimsical take on ice cream. The prices here may be a little steep for some but it must be understood that many also come here for the experience. This was a great afternoon treat for National Ice-cream Day!

The staff was not helpful. All the males that were working that evening show the expression "I hate my job". The order board in front of the cashier is only for drinks and shakes I believe. You can not use it to order ice cream. They ran out of the bubble waffle cone, and so that limited us to only being able to order scoops of ice cream which wasn't that big of deal. There are two different registers because in my opinion it looks to be two different businesses in one building. Their is a handful of chairs and tables to sit down once you ordered your dessert. Volume was little louder than I would have expected by the number of people that were inside the store. When my family and I went into the store. We do not recommend and we will not be returning for any future visits. -HoneyCone (color is purple and as a good favor) -Cookies n cream (nothing to be excited about taste just like any other brand cookies n cream ice cream) - Strawberry Shortcake (not a fan of the strawberry shortcake... My baby boy has grown up and is soon to attend Southwestern Uni. He loves all things anime, including fun foods of Asia, so bubble tea and related treats are in regular rotation. We just had to try out Nivi during SU orientation and were not disappointed. Know this: it's hard to find in the massive Wolf Ranch shopping center on the southwest corner of IH35 & Hwy 29. Nivi is co-located with bubble tea shop, Sharetea, so look for that signage between GNC and SuperCuts. The order & pay counters are separate, but they do have some menu items that seem to share products (ex: matcha soft serve). During our visit, we had to wait in line & pay twice since we wanted both ice cream and bubble tea. Nivi staff are super sweet and will let you have a sample taste of any of the ice creams and soft serves. I loved their eco-friendly reusable sample spoons. We loved everything that we tried but I settled on a 1-scoop cup of mango ice cream ($6.16) - soooo rich and tasty, full of fresh fruit flavor. Next time, I'll add ripe mango chunks on top. The full menu includes: * 11 premium flavors handmade with a rich 14% fat mix from Wisconsin dairy farms * 4 soft serve flavors including Ube & Matcha * 8 soft serve creations with toppings and swirls * 12 Bubble Waffles, loaded with premium soft serve ice cream * Milkshakes * Assorted candies, syrups, fruits, nuts, and whipped toppings for upcharge What else is special about Nivi? Natural ingredients sourced from across the globe:  - Rose Pistachio is made with rose essence from Belgium  - Salted Caramel has French sea salt  - Real fresh fruit in Mango & Strawberry ice creams  - Ube Honeycomb made with homemade honeycomb chunks A note on price: it ain't cheap. These products are hand made with the highest quality ingredients, some of them imported under our current dumb tariff policies. Think of this as a splurge treat and expect to pay accordingly. In Tyler, my spot was a standard Andy's. In Lubbock, there's J's Creamery. In Georgetown, that spot is Frozen Flamingo. Frankly, custard is far superior to ice cream. This is my review, so I'm right for the next few paragraphs. Custard is far superior to ice cream. Frozen Flamingo knows what they're doing with the concretes and the sundaes. The space is cute. There's a definite tropical vibe going on with the wooden chairs, the straw umbrellas, the string lights, and the potted plants. It's selling its aesthetic, and the branding clicks once you see the front of the space. There's total charm here. In front of me, I watched a kid get some sort of concrete with gummy eyeballs on top. I then watched him drop one of the eyes, ask for another, and immediately drop the new one. This doesn't help the review. It was just really funny. I went for a small, create-your-own concrete with Oreo on vanilla custard. No need to reinvent the wheel. One thing I noticed looking at the menu was how many options they have. Concretes, sundaes, shakes, cones, floats, frozen daiquiris, frozen lemonades, and frozen margaritas. Most places only focus on custard, but the beverage side could definitely speak to me on the right evening. They do run a little slow, at least during my visit, but not enough to shift the energy I was feeling. Once I got the custard, I thought it was great. Your standard affair. Better than ice cream. It's a place where you can hit the drive-thru and take your sweets home, or step aside and really take in your friendships, your life, and your well-being by living in the moment. The Frozen Flamingo is a place of love. And eyeballs that a kid drops.
