Gooey Butter Cake Cookie and snickerdoodle
    Amanda L.

I think the cookies here are where it's at. I tried the butter cookie and the snickerdoodle and both were very good (although I preferred the butter cookie because it was gooey and unique). I thought the ice cream was horrible. It is sooo incredibly sweet and I can't even begin to imagine it in a cookie sandwich. They do give you a ton of ice cream for one scoop but the flavors i got was the blackberry crumble and cookie dough. For cookies I'd come back but for ice cream i'll pass.

The cookie ice cream sandwiches. You pick your own cookie and your own ice cream

Nice gem in Georgetown, the sweets here are good. I had the s'mores cookies and rocky road ice cream . The service was inviting and enjoyable. The place is small and welcoming. Old school charm. I shall return for the sweets.

Very meh. Go to kilwins instead

I think the only reason why this place always has customers is because it's one of the few kid friendly dessert spots in the square. Other than that it's not memorable at all. I had the mint chip ice cream and everything about it was average. It's worse than Thrifty and Baskin Robbin's' mint chip ice cream. I got it sandwiched in a brownie and gooey cake batter cookie. Both had good gooey texture but again there was no memorable flavors. The brownie could've been improved with darker chocolate and notes of coffee. Instead it tasted like a low budget grocery market brownie. The cookie tasted like it was made with cheap land o lakes butter, definitely not kerrygold. This is the second time I've been here and each time their ice cream sandwiches taste like they are made with cheap low quality ingredients. For $8.93 for an ice cream sandwich, I definitely expected more. Even if it was $4 I would say the quality tastes lower than what I paid for. Save yourself the trouble and walk two blocks to Kilwins instead. Their ice cream is way better

The Baked Bear offers a variety of ice cream flavors and cookie options to create your perfect custom ice cream sandwich. You can choose from classic cookies like chocolate chip and snickerdoodle or more unique flavors like red velvet and funfetti. The ice cream flavors are just as diverse, with options like mint chocolate chip, rocky road, and butter pecan. The possibilities are endless, and you can mix and match to your heart's content. The last visit to this location, I had a mixed (both white and medium chocolate) cookie to form the top of the sandwich and a Nutella cookie to form the bottom of my ice-cream sandwich with a creamy vanilla and nut ice-cream as the filling. I elected not to get a drizzle on the top of the sandwich. The result was wonderful concoction that was both rich and dense. If you are a fan of cookies and ice cream, then The Baked Bear is a must-visit. Their unique concept, diverse menu, and excellent customer experience make them stand out in a crowded dessert market. This location also offers a loyalty program.

Stopped in while walking around downtown Georgetown, with the family to get some sweet relief from the summer heat. Service was friendly and fast. Options plenty, and the experience memorable! This is just another complement to the Georgetown square experience. Might be my new favorite town

As soon as you walk inside you're greeted with delicious smells of warm cookies and delicious ice creams. Most of the workers are teens who are very attentive and efficient with long lines. First you pick out your cookies for the sandwich and then your ice cream for the middle. You're able to mix and match cookies and ice cream, which is great if you're having trouble deciding. I would recommend to get your ice cream sandwich warmed as melts the cookie just enough to perfectly complement the creaminess of the ice cream. This is a wonderful place to end a summer stroll around the beautiful Georgetown square.

We visited while on a day trip to Georgetown. It's located in/ near the square so once you find parking, it is easy to walk to. They have a few seats outside so since it was a gorgeous day when we went we chose to sit out there. Orders are placed at the counter. The staff was super friendly and helpful since it was our first time to visit. They gave some really good recommendations. Before we walked in, we ran into a friend who recommended The gooey butter cake cookie. The staff also said this is one of their most popular cookies. After trying it, I understand why! It lives up to the name of being super gooey. Definitely on the sweeter side but oh so good. Would highly recommend. I also tried the pistachio chocolate chip. It was a good cookie, possibly a little too crispy for my taste. But after having the gooey butter cake cookie, it never stood a chance. For the ice cream, I had the butter brittle cake ice cream. It had the right amount of sweetness and a little bit of crunch. I didn't have it as an ice cream sandwich, so I'm not sure if combining the sweetness of the cookie and ice cream would have been overpowering. They are known for their ice cream. Sandwiches served with warm cookies and honestly they looked delicious. I'm not a big fan of ice cream sandwiches so I had them served separately. They serve the cookies warm to make them extra gooey and they give a huge portion of ice cream and a cup. I would highly recommend this place if you have a sweet tooth in Georgetown, especially as it gets hot in the summer!

I managed to avoid this place for two years, and unfortunately for my pants, I went in the other day. For crying out loud, why did I do that? The cookies were mouthwatering, combine that with the ice cream, it's what my dreams are made out of...and warm that up...nom nom nom. Delicious. The one thing I would change, the people working there need warm water to dip their scoops in, their poor little wrists were tired from scooping so much ice cream.

I got the mango ice cream. It was creamy and had great flavors. The store itself is kind of small due to the fact that it is sharing with a bubble tea store as well. There are a few couches and tables; sadly, the one couch that was free was kind of dirty. It had some stain on it or something, so I decided to stay standing while enjoying my ice cream. They also had multiple toppings as well and milkshakes that they could make.

The staff was not helpful. All the males that were working that evening show the expression "I hate my job". The order board in front of the cashier is only for drinks and shakes I believe. You can not use it to order ice cream. They ran out of the bubble waffle cone, and so that limited us to only being able to order scoops of ice cream which wasn't that big of deal. There are two different registers because in my opinion it looks to be two different businesses in one building. Their is a handful of chairs and tables to sit down once you ordered your dessert. Volume was little louder than I would have expected by the number of people that were inside the store. When my family and I went into the store. We do not recommend and we will not be returning for any future visits. -HoneyCone (color is purple and as a good favor) -Cookies n cream (nothing to be excited about taste just like any other brand cookies n cream ice cream) - Strawberry Shortcake (not a fan of the strawberry shortcake... No real fruit inside it is strawberry syrup.) -Toasted Marshmellow -Birthday Cake (not a fan because this didn't taste like "birthday cake" it tastes like vanilla with sprinkles and icing mix in)
