I love the snack room. It's tucked away in an unassuming commercial warehouse area near the Georgetown executive airport and Costco. It has excellent gourmet popcorn, ice cream, and the boozy shakes are a treat! Great service and a wonderful family owned business. Our kids love it too. Yesterday, I came here to pick up some treats for the kiddos. I purchased two scoops of ice cream and a bag of popcorn. Heres the skinny on the treats: The apple pie scoop of ice cream was absurdly tasty. It was a perfect mashup of ice cream and apple pie. The Round Rock Road ice cream was a spin on a traditional Rocky Road ice cream. I didn't get to taste any of RR Road ice cream because my daughter inhaled it. The cheese popcorn is reminiscent of the boy scout popcorn that my son sells (its a little bit of popcorn for a lotta bit of money). While I was pleased with the taste of the products offered here, the price point is a bit steep for the qaunity of goods received. read more

You know what's awesome? Taking a road trip with Wonder Wife. I mean, you know... who doesn't love spending a lot of time with a gorgeous woman? You know what else is awesome (but not nearly as awesome as the aforementioned road trip with Wonder Wife)? Snack Room. We were with one of our girls at HEB which, on a Sunday, is crazy busy. We figured the best way to relax after that hectic pace was to grab some ice cream. As usual, the Yelp-o-sphere came through. So, I will get one critical thing out of the way now: the prices are pretty high. However, the ice cream (Amy's) is really good and the popcorn is the bomb! The jalapeno popcorn is yummy and has a nice kick. The jalapeno cheddar popcorn is really good and, surprisingly, the dill pickle popcorn is delicious. They also have margaritas, boozy shakes and other fun things. But, I think the best part of the store is the people. The girl at the register was absolutely adorable, as were the other girls that were working there. They were extremely friendly and fun. When I heard one of the girls call the owner 'coach', I asked about that and apparently he is their basketball coach. He was super nice and friendly and he's the guy who makes the popcorn flavors. Look... if you want to buy a bag of popcorn for $3, go to HEB and grab something off the chip aisle. If you want to get some good snacks, interact with some great people and support a local small business, then make this part of your day. You won't regret it. read more

Two words .... Capuccino crunch ice cream. I am very happy buying blue bunny ice cream from the grocery store for a great savings. However, I will come back again and again for cappuccino crunch. So, was stopping at another place but saw Snack Room. Why have I not ventured here out before?!? This place, Wowzers, hospitality was off the chart. I've only used delivery with these guys and was attracted by Amy's ice cream available in pint sizes. Unfortunately my last two orders didn't measure up to a pint.
