This is the BEST ice cream around, hands down! Their pre-selected menu is great-I got the chocolate devotion with dark chocolate ice cream and my son got the mint mint chocolate. My sister got raspberry ice cream with brownies mixed in and let me have a bite-I'm absolutely getting that next time I come in!!! Also, the 3 girls working the store today are very friendly and helpful-I'm glad we left Amy's to come here today!! We will absolutely be back!! read more

Cold stone is my newly found love for ice creams ! Went there for Mother's Day celebration, got a few cones and waffle cup icecreams and enjoyed sitting outside, cherishing the last bit of the nice breezy summer weather before the Texas summer heat kicked in ! :) Service was great, staff was nice and friendly! Like the consistency in the service and taste experience across their 2 branches that I've visited. Highlights: - their waffle cups are one of the best - ice creams are smooth and the right amount of mid-sweetness Will be back for more :) read more

This is the best creamy ice cream I've ever had at any ice cream place! So many toppings. Love how they load it up and not stingy with their servings. read more

I got the peach frosé. It was good! Super light texture with a light flavor, but not so light that you can't taste the peach. It was subtle but good. It melts rather fast so I would eat it quickly to fully enjoy. It won't last a conversation. There was a line so service wasn't the quickest, but that's not a knock to the establishment. The people were nice and served us as quickly as they could. There is outside and indoor seating, but not an abundance. Something to keep in mind if you go on a busy summer day. read more

tl;dr - good ice cream with lots of options. I ordered the cheesecake fantasy in the smallest cup and cotton candy in a small cone which ended up being around $12 - a little pricey if you ask me. Portion size was good. Not too much or too little which is great if you moderate your sweets intake. The cheesecake fantasy was nice but the strawberries were mushy and do not expect chunks of cheesecake (it still tasted good but has some crust crumbs mixed in which can change the texture/smoothness). The cotton candy flavor was surprisingly good considering the flavor (my child loves blue ice creams for some reason). It wasn't extremely sweet as that flavor tends to be. Service was okay although one of the workers that helped me initially didn't seem to be friendly and looked annoyed at something which made me feel a little rushed to order. The other employee who charged me was nice though. There is plenty of seating inside and outside with a tempting view of Lammes Candies. The place itself was clean with clean bathrooms. read more

Wow this place gets packed! 9:00pm on a Thursday and the line is nearly out the door. With the only other location being in San Antonio I can see why it's so popular but I didn't expect it to be SO busy. It was pretty clean inside and they had a good amount of employees working! Ice cream was delicious although it was quite a bit melted immediately which was weird. Still yummy nonetheless. read more

Attentive service once we entered, the store is always packed or semi packed but stays very clean, organized and welcoming. Wasn't here for a long time but definitely for a good time because I scored this amazing minion cake for a birthday. Amazingly delicious ice cream cake. A great find for a quick cake, custom cake, or anything else of the like that tickles your fancy! read more

It has been forever since I've been to a Cold Stone Creamery, since it's opening to be exact. The Texas heat had me needing a cold treat and not yogurt or frozen custard. Found this sitting a shopping center and decided to give it a try for old times sake. Just as cool and refreshing as I remembered and chocolate dipped bowl was an added surprise. The servers were friendly and the place seemed more like a mom and pop setup than a national chain. With so many choices in ice cream I was glad to go back to an old favorite. read more

Came in tonight on a whim, and apparently so did everyone else. The place was very busy but we were immediately greeted by Damien. Damien and everyone else working tonight were extremely friendly and helpful to us, including my parents who are elderly and hard of hearing. Not to mention indecisive. We live close by and like to rotate around the different ice cream places, but I think we'll be making this our go to. read more

I didn't get the girl's name but on 4/3/26 I was helped by a very nice member of the CS team. Sometimes kindness just goes so further than one might think. And preordered ice cream cake was great as usual. Writing on the cake needs work but who cares. Great staff of young folks here, hard to find. read more

The food was well made (not icy) and well presented. It was very busy inside but there were enough tables inside and out to let guests sit. No one had to stand. They have a wide selection of ice cream flavors and the staff were friendly and efficient. read more

This is a great coldstone place- solid mixing and portions, good service and offering of samples as expected. They keep creating great options for ice cream mixes and you can always create your own. It was the end of the day and this place was a bit messy, and I do think the delightful coldstone experience isn't as special and interesting as it once was AND their app works weird with gift cards. But it's still a good treat to experience. I'll always love the strawberry blonde! read more

Love the concept of mixing cake, with traditional toppings and fruits. Went around 9pm the place was still packed with at least 10 ppl waiting in the line. I selected the strawberry option from the menu which had sweet cream, chunks of strawberry, yellow cake and of course the strawberry ice cream added. I ordered it over the waffle cone. Overall the concoction was delish. Just one feedback to the business would be to use fresh strawberries rather than the frozen one. read more

We walked in here on a whim after going to the chocolate shop next door. The store was tidy and clean. The employees were attentive but weren't quite able to tell me what ice creams had gluten and which did not. I don't entirely blame them but being handed a worksheet with multiple flavors allergy info and most of the flavors in the display weren't there made it hard to figure out which were safe or not. I will have to look online first before coming back. The prices were the norm for ice cream. Parking can by hard as it's a shared parking lot. read more

All kids working. No adults nor management working. They refused to give me my ice cream without my order number. I've literally shopped in this store 20 plus times and never been asked to provide this. Thing is, I offered my DL with my name and photo which matched the name on the online order as well as the credit card I paid with. They still wouldn't give it to me. Couldn't do a refund either. Couldn't explain the policy and why no one else has EVER enforced it. Couldn't understand that my DL with my name and photo and my credit card would have been a more secure verification than the order number on a phone. Ummm, what if the phone were stolen, and someone placed a fake order? They just looked blank like they couldn't process the concept of a stolen phone. Got my order home, I only live about 3 miles away, and one of the cups didn't even have the lid on it so the ice cream was all over the inside of the bag and all over everything else. There were no spoons in there either. They wouldn't provide a manager name nor store phone number. Kids kept saying this is how we do it. When asked why they are suddenly asking for phone to view order number they said they've always done it, which is a lie. I have zero problem with verifying an order, but when a customer provides an even more secure way to verify who they are that is picking up an order and they refuse it, that is just an absolute lack of critical thinking skills, and the individuals shouldn't be in left in charge. Moreover, when I pulled up the order # they didn't even compare and verify it was correct. Round Rock has Maggie Moos and Amy's pretty close by. No need to shop here. Maggie Moos has unlimited mixins and Amy's is fairly local. Owner should do the following: 1) post policy both on store door and online 2) train staff how to treat customers; when customer offers a reasonable alternative to pick up something they have already paid for- ie, an ID with a photo which matched name on the order as well as the card that was used to pay, that should be sufficient. 3) Ensure all staff members know how to put a lid on things. No one wants to spend 8 bucks on ice cream that is wasted all over the inside of a bag. 4) At no time should a business be open whereby no one in the store can issue a refund. That's just crappy service. UPDATE: business manager called me today 7/16/25 and took responsibility for the situation and advised staff has been addressed and that the ice cream should have been released to me especially with my driver's license being offered. He also agreed to replace the damaged ice cream and assured me that what occurred wasn't the norm and apologized for the poor customer service. read more

Tip tip hurray! This is what I heard after paying for my order. Not sure what's that about. We had two signature ice creams - chocolate devotion and cheesecake fantasy. The ice creams were tasty but on a expensive side. The place is small and was crowded on a Friday evening. There are couple of tables inside and outside. There is plenty of parking. read more

I really wanted to try cold stone so we decided to stop by one night, the atmosphere was chill just people eating there ice creams. Like who doesn't like ice cream, am I right? We got one of their creations. Service was super speedy.. the only thing I will say is that the mix ins weren't actually mixed all the way in bc I felt like I was eating just chocolate ice cream at one point. Regardless, it was good and I will def come here again and try some of their other flavors! read more

I can't believe they opened this place in our market. I used to live off coldstone back in the days in east coast. Cold stone was the hottest thing back then. I can't forget their flagship location in the heart of nyc. As soon as I found out there is cold stone in round rock, I rushed to this place. Got my usual cheesecake the first time around. Second time I tried their birthday cake something. Both were simply amazing. Staff super cool and seemed amazing and engaged. You can count on me to be a regular at this place. I love this place, when I was in Alaska and I went with my family to get ice cream, they said cold stone was the best place. Ever since I came back I only want to get cold stones ice cream. The cake was dry and the ice cream had no flavor. A lot more cake than ice cream. They didn't add mix-ins but when told refused to acknowledge the mistake. Rude customer service and no care put into cake. Will never buy from here again. Marble Slab has much better cakes. read more

Delicious ice cream and yogurt. Friendly and courteous staff and speedy service, lovely atmosphere,

I've been waiting for years for Cold Stone Creamery to come back to the Central Texas area. I've driven to San Antonio for a "fix" before. of course the ice cream is good but when you wait over 15 min for an online order have 4 people in working only one helping customers on a hot day so one can be annoyed and go to Freddy's instead. I'll opt for something else next time. not worth the wait #average 10 min per customer. read more

This will be my first and last time at this cold stone location. I drove all the way from south Austin (as this is the only location near austin). My only motive for going was because I received my yearly buy 1 get 1 free any size for my birthday. I showed the email at checkout, which clearly states my name and shows it is from the cold stone corporation, only for (I'm assuming the manager) to refuse to accept the coupon/email because "he couldn't find my phone # in the system". Yes, it's only $7 that I would have saved but that's horrible customer service as a manager when I have clear proof of this promotional email from Cold Stone considering how far I drove SOLEY because of the email. I will drive to a San Antonio location before I ever consider coming here again. read more
