So much said about this place. Nothing to add. I come here because it's always fresh product, , reasonably priced items, tasty and pastry is not too sweet. Also, they always have a good service and it's very clean inside! Love it. Another thing is they have a great rewards program.

I love the bakery. All breads and pastries are good. Mojito cup was ok. The egg tarts never disappoint

The Filipino manager staff leader just redeemed this place for me. Had to get tiramisu cake and found a beautiful one here. He carefully put in a box and even included candles and happy bday sign and cake server. Amazing service and in time for Fil Am history month! Shout out to him or I would not even try 85 bakery again!

I love 85°C Bakery for how affordable it isyou can grab a good amount of bread without spending much. The selection is solid, and it's easy to find a few favorites each visit. I also enjoy their taro smoothie and strawberry mango smoothie. Flavor-wise they're good, but consistency can be hit or miss since they're not always blended well, and I sometimes end up with a lot of ice chunks. The egg tarts are one of my favorites, but I'm pretty frustrated that they now force you to buy them in packs of two instead of letting you buy just one. That decision honestly knocks a star down for me. Aside from that, it's a clean, organized bakery that gets very busy on weekends. Overall, still a great spot for affordable baked goods with plenty of options, just wish they'd bring back single egg tarts and improve smoothie consistency.

I was first introduced to this chain when I visited a friend in Sugarland. So happy to have encountered another location. I ordered the Oolong Milk Tea with coffee jelly and boba - so yummy!!

Filling inside and that's my butter on top before I knew it had filling inside!

Wow! I came in at 9am to get some of their seasonal pumpkin bread... I thought they would be smaller but to my surprise they are big!! For less than $3 each they are a steal!! They look like cute pumpkins and the stems are chocolate!! It does have a nice pumpkin filling inside!! I put butter on my bread then found out it had filling!! Yum!! Also... the place was clean and organized so I could find them on the top counter!! The staff are helpful and made this adventure out a delight!! I'm definitely coming back for more of these while they are in season!

ordered online for pick up. order was ready quickly. staff was very busy but attentive. online your unable to adjust the sweetness or ice level of the vietnamese coffee (not pictured). the coffee had so much ice I think I got 3 drinks out of it. very sweet however vietnamese coffee normally is. it had good flavor but won't order it online again without being able to adjust the ice. grab and go options avaliable other wise you order through a kiosk. minimal seating avaliable . bothe the egg custard and the milk bun were baked to perfection! 10/10 for both!

85C is an Asian buns staple! They always have a good selection of different kinds of breads, pastries, and drinks. And it's always so delicious! Only complaint is that they put the self serve kiosk right behind the line for the counter so it completely blocks the way of anyone trying to walk through. Especially when the line is long.

Really nice bakery with a wide variety of unique options! From savory choices like garlic bread, pizza, and hot dogs to sweet treats like cakes and pastries, there's always something new to try. They also have a great drink menu with fresh teas, milk teas, espresso, and coffee. I work right around the corner, and my co-workers and I frequently place group orders; everything always comes out delicious. The staff is consistently friendly, patient, and helpful, which makes the experience even better. Definitely a spot worth visiting!

Favorite bakery! Everything is so good here! It's busy all the time so be patient it is worth the wait. Every location is amazing!

The outside is a little boring, but the interior is dressed up a bit with a chandelier and bright shiny display cases full of baklava and other desserts. The employee offered us a free sample, which was a good start. I may be guilty of falling for the "Dubai Chocolate" trend, but I chose a few pieces of baklava that had chocolate pistachio flavor profiles. I also took a risk on a nest shaped pastry filled with lemon filling, and I think it was my favorite of them all! They have tables where you can eat your treats there, and wash your hands afterwards, which is important because there's almost no way to do it without getting sticky fingers. I ate two pieces there, and saved two more for the evening, which was a lot for one day, but it was sure a treat!

Constantly had to refer to "calling her" dad to get information. Multiple things on the menu were not even available. Very "Mom and pop" and below average. Treated like it was a business someone's running out of their garage. Very unprofessional in 2026 in the city of Austin. Your menu doesn't even match what you really have? Customers can't rely on what they see online -- or even the in-store menu. That's disingenuous. We won't be back. Very disappointing.

While we're glad you joined us, I'm sorry to hear your breakfast experience didn't meet expectations. We'll be reviewing your comments with our culinary team to improve consistency. We appreciate you giving us a try and hope to provide a better experience in the future. Warm regards, Wes Brown It's great to receive a response from the business manager regarding our experience at their restaurant, but all four us thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast. We had absolutely no complaints regarding our dining experience. Caroline is affiliated with the Marriott Element and Aloft hotels and that, I believe, where the affiliation ends. I try to avoid hotel eateries but I've had great dining experiences at hotels like the JW Marriott in Austin. We, four, stopped by on a Sunday AM for breakfast and we had a great time. They do have brunch cocktails available and their bloody Mary's were deemed excellent with just the right amount of spice. My bloody Maria was on point and we all got our Sunday Funday started. Breakfast was wonderful. Our eggs arrived cooked perfectly. The pepper bacon and real potato sides were off the charts delicious. They also offer a few TexMex breakfast options and Plus one was raving about her Huevos Rancheros plate. Service was excellent even though they became busy our server was very attentive. Pro tip: Sat and Sun AMs if you arrive early you can easily score a table.

Located in the corner of the plaza (next to the grocery store). Cute little bakery with a sweet older lady who speaks zero English but was nonetheless extremely welcoming and kind. She even gave my toddler a complimentary macaron. Sweet. I am usually pretty adventurous with trying new pastries/snacks and it generally works out well. Unfortunately, I did not like most of the things we took home that day (my husband agreed). A taro egg ball thing -- not fans. A gelatinous rice blob inside a bamboo leaf (believe it's called Zongzi) -- also didn't work for us. Finally, the beef puff (which seemed like a safe bet) fell short of expectations. It's my fault -- I ignored that part that said "beef floss." It had a stringy/processed texture that I just didn't like. I just wasn't a fan of the flavors/textures -- but obviously that's subjective. I did enjoy the garlic bread we also thankfully bought -- it was soft and flavorful. If you're not familiar with the foods, I'd recommend making sure you get a few "safe" items like the cream bread or garlic bread. Ultimately, even though I wasn't crazy about most of what I tried, it was a cute little shop with a nice lady running it.

Pink Cake ($7, 4.5/5) - I liked how the "cake" base itself is more hearty (with corn as the main ingredient) - The buttercream is a very pretty pink, which matches the overall aesthetic of Comadre. It's a tad sweet, but works overall. Empanadas ($7 each, 5/5) - Great savory option! The filling consists of stewed chickpeas, poblano chilies, cheddar cheese. - Comes with a side of tomatillo sauce which adds some nice tang. Overall, really enjoyed our experience! Glad the choice was made for us -- the ube was perfect on its own. Also happy we skipped the toppings since the creaminess really came through.
