Iced Honey Lavender Matcha & Matcha Tiramisu Lattes With Oat Milk
    Angelica L.

Rating: 4.3/5 [dine in] Yuzu Pie ($3.85): Similar to a larger McDonald's pie but with yuzu flavor. It's light, flaky, and crumbles easily, making it a bit messy to eat. The yuzu flavor is nice and refreshing. I think it would taste even better if we took it home and air-fried it for extra crispiness. Iced Matcha Tiramisu Latte ($7.25 Large) + Oat Milk ($0.80): I expected the tiramisu cream layer to be sweet, but it tasted more like salted cream cheese foam. Not bad, but the name is a bit misleading. The matcha itself was pretty good both on its own and when mixed with the cream. That said, I prefer the honey lavender matcha latte more. Iced Honey Lavender Matcha Latte ($6.25) + Oat Milk ($0.80): Delicious and flavorful. You can distinctly taste each ingredient, which is rare in a drink. The matcha has a beautiful, vibrant green color and a great flavor. Be sure to stir it well since the honey and lavender syrup settle at the bottom.

They have a lot of variety, despite being a small shop. They could work on friendliness. They seemed irritated simply because I didn't know I needed to give them my tray instead of each pastry one by one to purchase. The bulgogi roll I had tasted old and stale, even though the sign said it was just made that morning. The cranberry cream cheese bread was really good though. I always enjoy their matcha tiramisu latte. I like stopping here whenever I shop at HMart.

Tous Les Jours inside H Mart Austin is one of my favorite go-to spots whenever I'm craving fresh pastries, quality desserts, or just a quick sweet treat during a grocery trip. The moment you walk up, you're greeted by the warm smell of baked bread and the display cases are always stocked with a wide variety of pastries that look just as good as they taste. I love how everything feels fresh--soft, fluffy, and never overly sweet.

I had several trips here and never could come at the right time. I came twice this weekend. I had tiramisu latte with almond milk-hot. 10 stars! It's like drinking my favorite dessert, the wait was a little bit longer. The next day I ordered taro boba but was charged two drinks. I gave one away. Today, I got my favorite dessert from my son and his girlfriend--spoonable tiramisu and strawberry tiramisu! Couldn't get my teaspoon off it! One sitting, soooo perfect! Inviting display of pastries!!! The cake display was mouth watering.

    Blueberry Yogurt cake

My favorite location is in Illinois, but I did enjoy the blueberry yogurt cake (BYC) as it's light, fruity, and naturally sweet without the abundance of sugar. It's located in the H Mart food court so plenty of foot traffic. Service was prompt and the ambiance is what is in the food court; nothing to brag about. Other pastries are okay but the BYC is my fav!

    Looks pretty, but don't bother

ALL LOOKS, NO SUBSTANCE We were visiting my daughter on her birthday and wanted to do something special. We had seen the fancy cakes at Tous Les Jours in H-Mart. There's a lot to love at H-Mart and there's some great food in the food court, so we were optimistic that this would be a special treat. I cringed a little at the $40 price, but we'd traveled 2000 miles, so went for a Mango Cloud. The decoration seemed nice and it came with a tiny pack of candles and a plastic serving knife with matches in the handle (but nothing to light them on). What appeared in the case to be an orange gradient on the frosting on the side proved to be a tinted acetate collar. When we actually cut into the cake, there were 3 layers of sponge with small bits of mango in the whipped frosting between the bottom and middle layers. The flavor was a real nothing-burger. The frosting had a greasy mouth feel and the sponge had essentially no taste at all. At the very least, they could have added mango bits to the other interior frosting layer. Overall, a huge disappointment, but lesson learned.

Chocolate croissant and red bean paste bread

I was in the market eatery of HMart getting some Korean hotdogs. I decided I wanted a little something sweet for later. On my way out I stopped at Tous les Jours. It is a Korean bakery that is located just inside a side door for the market eatery. The first thing I spotted was a chocolate croissant, so I grabbed one of those. The second thing I noticed was a red bean bun, so I grab that too. Then I stood in line to pay for it and headed out The chocolate croissant was literally a croissant dipped halfway into chocolate. The chocolate was only on the outside, not on the inside. It was OK. The red bean bun was sweet bread with a filling of red beans paste. Other than it being really sparse on the red bean paste it was also OK. Unfortunately, for the prices charged, I'm going to pass going again because it was not worth it

This bakery is located within a shopping center off North Lamar. On a Sunday afternoon, I purchased a cake for my daughter's 14th birthday. I didn't pre order. I walked in and bought it directly out of their case. The cakes, all of them were beautifully decorated. The bakery had a nice assortment of baked goods. The establishment was well kept, clean and aesthetically pleasing. I was impressed. It reminded me a lot of 85 Bakery, right around the corner. Ok...although it was a beautiful cake. It wasn't good. The cake itself was flavorless. The filling inside over powered my palette with sweetness but not in a good way. The best part of this cake was the white portion of the icing on top of the cake. I needed the white icing in every bite to eat the cake. It just wasn't good. I was so disappointed. But boy was it pretty.

Service// Quick and workers were willing to answer questions on their cakes. Ambiance// I liked how this is located in the H mart which has multiple food places inside from Korean hot dogs to bing soo. There are also mini claw machines to potentially win mini cute keychains. Cake// Not too sweet and enough to feed at least 10 people. The lychee flavor was infused into the cream well and the light cream is not too much which was perfect.

I'm so happy to see this proud symbol of Korea making its mark in Austin! To be honest, I didn't go often when I was in Korea, but since there aren't many good bakeries here, I find myself coming here often for bread and cakes. Considering how beautiful the cakes look, the prices seem pretty reasonable. And of course, everything tastes amazing! :)

We were shopping at H Mart and this place was not easy to avoid. It's located at the front entrance before the food court. We randomly picked items here and not one was disappointing. My personal favorite was the Matcha Brownie. Perfect pairing with tea. I did find out they have a location near where I live!

    Mango cloud cake
    Michelle L.

Recently got a mango cloud cake for a family members birthday here. The displays all looked so enticing, some other options I considered was the matcha cloud and chocolate cake as well. The cake comes with a cute box and plastic cake knife and candles, which is just so thoughtful. The mango cake was decorated beautifully, complete with a little leaf! It also tasted very soft and light. I will definitely be coming here again for more cakes in the future!

    Red velvet coffee

I was in H Mart waiting in my K Dog when I saw that they had this red velvet flavored latte. I had to try it! It definitely tasted like red velvet and was pretty good. They also had some good cream cheese filled pastries that I grabbed for the road.

I was craving Ube and might have gone a bit overboard on ordering dessert because they had so many Ube options. The building is colorful and decorated in bright pink with fun artwork and decor for an uplifting vibe. The line moved quickly and the service was friendly fast and efficient. I was able to place my order and pay with Apple Pay. I ordered the Taiyaki Sundae with black sesame and ube swirl soft serve served in a fish shaped mochi Belgian style waffle with Oreo dust on top. You can customize your sundae with filling like organic red sweet beans, Nutella or custard and toppings like Oreo dust, fruity pebbles or rainbow sprinkles. I ate this on site and the nutty black sesame balanced the sweet ube perfectly, and the Oreo topping added the best crunch. They had a variety of mochi donut flavors. Lucky for me, nothing was sold out today. I ordered the Oreo ube mochi donut and ube milk tea to-go. I ate the mochi donut later that day and it was probably my least favorite item from my order. It had the chewy mochi texture however I didn't get enough of the rich ube flavor. It had somewhat of a bitter aftertaste and the Oreo overpowered the ube. I drank the ube milk tea the next day and it was creamy, smooth, and not overly sweet. I really enjoyed the flavor profile of the beverage and would order it again. Overall, enjoyed my selections and will be back to try more dessert options and flavors from one of the most unique Asian dessert spots in Austin!

I asked for a recommendation as a first time and was told I have to try the original to start. Service seemed friendly but felt a little rushed for me to hurry up. Cheesecake Biscotti - from my small slice, I was impressed. It's an airy cookie that's baked to a crispy finish. The exterior is crispy but the inside is fluffy, it's a fun texture that simply feels remarkable. Plus the overall cheesecake flavor is a delightful sweetness. Matcha Cheesecake - I was impressed with the softness. The small sample was so light yet ready to fall from the toothpick at any moment. It was just so delicate. Matcha was present though it's hard to say how strong from a quick sample so I'll reserve on that. Original Cheesecake - now for the real experience, it's no exaggeration to say that this quite literally melts in your mouth. It's almost like the cake simply dissolves, leaving a cheesecake flavor behind. Super fluffy, light, and airy, the cheesecake is delicate and when you eat it, your taste buds light up as if a spotlight is emphasizing the presentation. Fantastic end to any meal as well, especially because it's not heavy at all.
