Paris Baguette may not sit along the Seine, and no one behind the counter will greet you with a lilting bonjour--but don't be fooled. The pastries themselves are doing a very convincing French accent. You grab a tray and a pair of tongs (a setup that feels delightfully familiar, like a Mexican panadería with a Parisian passport) and curate your own carb-forward adventure. Behind the refrigerator curtain, you'll find handmade sandwiches and salads, and a solid lineup of coffee drinks behind the counter to complete the illusion. The staff is friendly, the vibe is easy, and there's both indoor and outdoor seating. On a nice day, you can sit outside with a café au lait in one hand and a chocolate-dipped croissant in the other, gazing at the traffic on Airport Blvd and pretending it's a parade of river boats ferrying tourists past Notre Dame. Is it Paris? No. Is it a charming little escape with excellent pastries and a strong imagination requirement? Absolutely. A boy can dream.

Quick and random stop here, but had a good experience. I was hoping to get lunch, but realized there were just a few sandwiches and salads in the cooler, and it was not as much of a lunch cafe as I expected. I just got some treats and tried a savory crab meat croquette: Crispy panko donut filled with imitation crab, potato, and vegetables. It reminded me of a deviled crab. They warmed it up for me, but it was still cold in the middle. It was really good though! I also enjoyed the mochi dubai chocolate donut. I took home a pink round supreme croissant and a mini croissant filled with lemon cream and fresh strawberry. Free parking in the nearby garage!

It's a mini Japanese pastry shop! Everything is made fresh. I got the salted bun. Not too sweat which is to my liking. Instead of sitting inside, I would recommend going to the park across the street. The mochi donut is also tasty but can be too sweet. 9/10 croissants

One of my partner's favorite bakeries!! It's a serve yourself style where they ring you up at the end. They were constantly replenishing the pastries, so don't overthink like me and assume that the ones that look full aren't the best/fresh because they ARE!

Food: yum omg the treats I got were delicious!!! Got strawberry croissant, almond croissant, and coffee donut ~ recommend all!!! Service: quick and nice! Ambiance: chill, college students studying, lots of empty tables, bright from sun

I have visited this location during the days I have yoga class across the street, and it is charming, cheerful and delicious. When you walk in, you grab a tray with a little paper wrap and some tongs. Then help yourself from several display cases with rotating fresh pastries, including several savory options. At the register, they'll ask you if you want anything heated up or boxed to go. Standouts so far for me include the ham and cheese croissant (heated up in the toaster oven) and a delicious coffee/chocolate cream-filled layered donut. Pair with coffee at the register.

THIS REVIEW IS FOR the LEANDER LOCATION: All I'm gonna say is if you've never been here run don't walk !! This place is phenomenal, everything in every case looked absolutely exquisite and if I had $1000 to drop, I would've bought everything!! The young lady at the register was pleasant with friendly., the place smelled of something straight out of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. I felt like I could walk up to the wall and just take a bite.!! I will most certainly be back to this place time and time again well done.

When I say this is my favorite bakery... they put magic in everything they make! I truly feel like a kid in a candy store when I come here. It's so hard to just pick a few things. My favorites are the fruit tarts and mochi donuts! The heated to weiner dogs are a must as well if you're looking for something a little more filling. I always try a different coffee or smoothie. Haven't found "the" coffee yet but so far they've been fine. Service is always super friendly as well.

Paris Baguette is one of our favorite spots to grab a sweet treat and a coffee or tea! We love coming here for their delicious variety of cakes, pastries, and breads--there's truly something for everyone. Whether you're in the mood for something sweet like a cronut or doughnut, or something savory like a flaky croissant or fresh-baked bread, this place always delivers. They also offer sandwiches and a wide selection of coffee and tea drinks that pair perfectly with whatever treat you choose. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great spot to catch up with a friend or get a little work done. Parking is easy with a nearby garage and free street options. Service is great here and everyone is always so friendly. Always a pleasant experience when we visit--and don't forget to sign up for their rewards program! You can earn points for discounts and freebies, which makes coming back even sweeter.

This place is so cute! Everything looked yummy! We went in on Saturday to pick out a case cake for my Birthday on Sunday. They were busy ( obvs) with Father's Day weekend and all. I asked the young man for a mini strawberry cream cake, basically a strawberry shortcake with a singe/ chiffon type cake. I thought the total was 39$ because I tried to push 4$ on the huge tip screen that flashed up right after my husband inserted the card but apparently the young man didn't not hear me say mini and since he didn't repeat my order we got the large. I should have known because there was a mini in the case but the employee went to the back and after some discussion the manager came out and said they would have to make one and could we come back in an hour and a half. Feeling flattered that they didn't even know me but were going to make us a fresh cake instead of giving us the mini in the case we left and came back. The next evening we opened it only to find a large cake, I know the box should have been a clue but it was our first time there and I didn't want any negativity. My husband is kind of " frugal" and I was grateful he didn't just pick up a grocery store cake. The cake was okay but since strawberries tend to ooze after a couple of days most of the cake will be thrown away. Also a large clump of icing pulled off with the band but could have been from being kept overnight. I am sorry that the employees did not get a tip my husband said he had hit no tip while I was punching four dollars and I guess he was faster. I'm sorry the majority of cake will be thrown out. On the bright side our terrier Scooter got a small bit with a dollop of vanilla ice cream and said definitely two paws up! I'm sure this was a one off and we will probably try this place again- everything looked so good and the cake was tasty just a bit airier than I expected but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Shop was clean and bright and well stocked. Employees were nice.

The donuts are amazing, everything they have is amazing. My sister loved their Sandwich with smoked cold cuts and cheese. The service was a little slow but helpful. The setup is a little different, it was very congested and did not flow well.

Paris Baguette has become our go-to place for cakes. Everything we've tried has been so soft and moist, but never overly soaked the texture is always just right. Their cakes are consistently fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. A really great spot whenever we're craving something sweet!

This is it.

Just went in Paris Baguette, food wise is ok, eating the breakfast sourdough sandwich. Greasy cheese like rubber very por quality for a good sourdough. Service was really bad, first time there, NO one said good morning, I spent probably 7 min just looking and No one said how can we help, asked for a cafe latte SOY milk and the register girl had an attitude when I addressed it Twice. She was feeling under the weather maybe but still with a high name like the one they have they should offer quality customer service. Ambiance was ok, nothing french to it, also pastry very organized but I showed up at 7:40AM in the morning and some empty areas were there, good thing but also bad. Over all need to improve on their service and attitude towards customers treat them like Mercedes Benz customers.

I had just read on Reddit a couple days prior that this was recommended as an alternative to another Austin bakery. When I walked in I was surprised to find many older individuals sitting and chatting, so I thought there might be some kind of event. But it's probably just the demographics of the neighborhood! Based on the decor I can tell they're not trying to be a "trendy" bakery and remain true to their identity as a neighborhood business. They still had a good number of pastries available but I did get the last strawberry danish of the day (pictured). I also got the almond croissant. Their pre-made bread loaves all looked appetizing as well. I thought both pastries had good texture but could have used more filling/flavoring.

So in the last two weeks, I've been back exactly four times. My first introduction was the Croissant Scramble with chicken and veggies inside, with the Arnold Palmer. My friend got the Croissant Scramble with brisket. The presentation of the croissants when brought to the table blew me away. It was wrapped up in the cutest paper with the ends twisted. The topic of conversation was how good the croissants were. Before we left, we ordered some delicious cookies. The chocolate chips were yummy. So I went the following day and grabbed some pastries! One in particular was the Pecan Bar. The following week, another friend and I stopped in for the Chicken Pesto Omelet. I like that the fire-roasted bell peppers and onions are cooked, if that's the right word. But l have to tell you, the Mexican Hot Chocolate drink brings on the flavor, as does the ice-cold Mocha. Of course, we got the Pecan Bar for dessert. So yes, I went back yesterday for the Almond Croissant. I know, I know!

When I arrived, I was told the cake wasn't ready and was asked if I could come back the next morning--which obviously didn't work given the timing of the event. As a substitute, they offered me a pre-made cake from their display case and assured me it was chocolate like I originally ordered, just with a chocolate mousse filling. They refunded me $15 to account for the difference, and I felt pressured to accept since I needed something for the dinner that night. Unfortunately, the situation got worse from there. When we cut into the cake, it turned out to be confetti--not chocolate. Then, when we tried to eat it, it was clearly stale, dry, and inedible. No one touched it after the first bites. It completely missed the mark for what was supposed to be a special moment. What's especially frustrating is that I ordered from them last year for the same occasion, and everything went perfectly--that's why I trusted them again. This time, however, it was a complete letdown from start to finish. When I called the next day to request a refund, I asked to speak with a manager but was told that wasn't possible. Instead, I was told I would only be offered a partial refund because I accepted the replacement cake. I understand that mistakes happen, but the lack of accountability and quality here was really disappointing--especially for something as important as a birthday celebration.

It's a tad sweet, but works overall. Empanadas ($7 each, 5/5) - Great savory option! The filling consists of stewed chickpeas, poblano chilies, cheddar cheese. - Comes with a side of tomatillo sauce which adds some nice tang. Overall, really enjoyed our experience! I had just recently watched an Austin PBS episode that featured Comadre - would recommend checking the video out as it highlights a lot of the thought/consideration that goes into this business! Excited to come by next time I'm in the area & checking out other items on the menu.

Came here with my hubby and two toddlers and we got one cone to share (the kids just get a little bit). This is usually enough but I felt like I wanted MORE. It was so creamy and flavorful. We kept it simple -- fish cone with nutella and ube soft serve. We had the option of swirling it with a milk tea ice cream but it had a little bit of caffeine so no good. Glad the choice was made for us -- the ube was perfect on its own. Also happy we skipped the toppings since the creaminess really came through. They sell mochi donuts too -- they were pretty good but not as good as the ice cream. Parking is limited but we had no issue snagging a spot at 430pm on a Sunday. Only a few narrow spots outside (no official lot). Full disclosure -- both my daughter and I had tummy aches after eating this ice cream and you know what? I have zero regrets! It was that good.
