I noticed the Tous Les Jours bakery when I was at Walgreens across the parking lot on Lamar Blvd. They also have a Tous Les Jours at Hmart, which is always crazy busy. I been wanting to try this bakery but the lines at the HMart location are always super long. I popped by yesterday to try their treats. Tous Les Jours is a bakery that combines French pastry techniques and Asian flavor profiles. Visually the pastries look French and draw you in as they are aesthetically beautiful. However, Asian pastries tend to be less sweet, which was the case with Tous Les Jours. The bakery had a number of sweet treats...croissants (sweet and savory), cakes, bread, to name a few. When I walked in the fresh baked pastries and bread smells filled your nostrils with a refreshing aroma. There is a small space inside for seating. There are tables and chairs outside, not fully setup, so I am not sure they were associated with Tous Les Jours. I purchased a croissant with a sausage inside. The croissant was buttery yet not too sweet. It was very enjoyable to eat. Look forward to trying other items... read more

This Tous Les Jours location on North Lamar is a cozy, small bakery that manages to pack in a surprisingly large variety of offerings. Originating in South Korea back in 1997, the brand was built on blending classic French baking techniques with traditional Asian ingredients. Because of this unique history, they carry an amazing, large selection of Asian baked goods alongside standard cafe pastries. We always leave with a full box, but we absolutely love the orange cream cake, the blueberry cream cheese bread, and the custard buns, among so many others. It is a fantastic spot to grab some perfectly baked treats. The location inside HMart on Lakeline is equally as yummyrific. read more

I love their coffee buns and this is my favorite location. Very convenient especially if you need for some korean grocery shopping as well. Staff is nice, and also free wifi. I tried something new which was Guava Matcha Latte and it was very good, not sweet at all and well paired with the buns. Not too loud and just enough for a nice ambiance. read more

Coffees here were pretty good, staff were great. The pastry selection is also really large. We had a chocolate croissant that had really nice dough. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Didn't even realize this location was here...on the way to thrift my daughter seen it so we decided to stop in. I still love the one in Memphis as my favorite (I'm bias lol) but this one is nice. I only didn't like how everything was prepackaged because it's a waste if people are going to eat in the store. Ours back home everything is set out and still covered and in disposable containers but they only package if she choose to take it with you. The tiramisu latte was 10/10 as well as the caramel frappe. The place is on the cozier side but clean. read more

The atmosphere is nostalgic for me.. I've been coming to this location since I was a teenager for one specific item: macarons! They are soft and delicate in the best way. Texture and flavor. I crave them several times a year and am never disappointed. My favorite flavor is the earl grey! They also have some other pastry, bread, and drink options. No complaints! read more

My favorite bakery in Boston and ever since I moved to Austin I had missed those desserts and was so delighted to realize they were available here as well. My favorites: 1. Green tea cloud cake. 2. Mango cloud cake 3. Almond croissants Their cloud cakes are one of the best I have ever tried! Tous les Jours are know for their Korean and American fusion delicacies. They are not too sweet and that is why they're good and popular. Never miss their cloud cakes! read more

We needed a cake for a special occasion and decided to go back to our original spot -- this bakery never disappoints! We ordered their Fruit Cloud Cake, and as always, it was delicious. The cake itself is semi-sweet with a soft, fluffy texture, and the frosting is light and just a touch sweet -- exactly how I like it. That perfect balance keeps me coming back. I did notice that some of their pastries have gotten a bit smaller and the prices have gone up, but I guess that's pretty normal these days. The quality, though, is still great. The bakery has a cozy and welcoming vibe with a clean, modern setup. The smell of fresh bread and pastries hits you the moment you walk in, and everything looks beautifully displayed. Parking was easy to find, and the service was friendly and polite. Overall, it's always a pleasant experience here -- both the cakes and the atmosphere make it worth the visit every time. read more

Around the corner from 99 Ranch, and a cute little bakery to wander in. An unsuspected bakery Upon entering the parking lot. It doesn't look like much. Then, Walking thru the front door felt much like walking into a gift shop. The Floor plan includes a seating area to enjoy your pastries, teas and coffee. it was delightful. These are the experiences that I look for when coming to shops in Austin. It's not just the food but the experience once inside. The girls at the counter were full of pleasantries and cute, cute, cute. We ordered a few pastries and a delicious cup of coffee with pecan flavoring. We decided to sit down and enjoy the atmosphere since there were not many people around this morning. Why not enjoy it when everyone is at work and we had the shop to ourselves. read more

Always my go -to place for pastries and desserts. Never disappoints. The sweet level is mild unlike other places which makes it overpowering. I first tried out their pastries in Boston and soon it became my favorite that I would go to other locations like 33rd street and now Austin. We ordered their Mango cloud cake for my birthday. It was well packed and the taste was exactly the same. Must try! read more

The shop is very clean and well kept. I visited in the early afternoon, so there was still a lot of inventory. I selected a lot of items but I made the mistake of not taking many pictures. I had: -the strawberry soft bread- it was really delicious! -the blueberry cream cheese bread. It was good but not great. The bread was pretty firm/ tough so it was more work to bite through than expected. -The chocolate cream doughnut. It was very underwhelming. It was sugary but lacked much of a chocolate taste/ flavor. A person from my group really enjoyed the milk cream red bean bun/bread and mini cheese cake. Overall, I enjoyed the wide assortment and plan on coming back to try more. read more

I haven't been to this location in so long so I decided to check it out to kill time while in the area. With the other location in town, I assumed goodies would still be left in the afternoon....nope. Y'all gotta come early to get dibs on stuff. I came around 2:30pm and there was a line to check out. The red bean bread I love was sold out however we bought the last two red bean donuts. While we didn't get our usuals we did try some new sweets like the chestnut bread. It was soft, fluffy and had real chestnuts in it. Yum! My little one approved the bulgogi sausage rolls. The parking lot was pretty packed. I drove around twice to get a spot. Don't let that detour you from trying this place. They have drinks as well if you're in the mood for coffee, tea or a blended drink. read more

We got the strawberry cake slice and cheesecake from Tous Les Jours. We were not a fan of both. The cheesecake for some odd reason was very sour and not sweet. Not sure if it went bad or suppose to taste like that. I've never had cheesecake that was very sour. The strawberry cake was moist and very strawberry forward. There was real strawberry bits I between the strawberry mouse and cake. read more

My three favorite Tous Les Jours items are the sweet rice donut (NOT the red bean donut dusted in sugar), the Portuguese egg tart, and the garlic crusts, and this location seems to have either the donut or crusts more reliably than the H-Mart location. The sweet rice donut (which contains delicious red bean paste :p) are not as sweet as other red bean breads, and nothing at all like American donuts. It's way easier to turn into and get out of this place than the main Asian food-hub down the street. ;) Lots of options, good prices. There's cream or cheese in a lot of their things, and I'm only willing to take so much risk with my GI track; but, I still always look around to check for new and seasonal things. Generally, however, I stick to my favorite comfort snacks. ;p read more

Literally the best bakery in town... way better than most bakeries and all the wholefoods of course. Fresh, fluffy, not too sweet... But they need to have more signature tea drinks. My nail guy recommended this lovely place. The Mango Birthday Cake was beautiful and amazing. Light and refreshing without being too sweet. My family and I decided to stop by here while in the area. We easily parked and walked in. The bakery was bright with plenty of seating. The bakery had items everywhere to choose from. When we went to order the person behind the counter was friendly and patient as we took a while to decide what we wanted. I wasn't sure what to get so I went with a slice of lemon cake. My husband ordered a piece of the Cloud Piece Cake. The lemon cake was okay. It was one slice of a cake with a hint of lemon flavor and a hint of sweet from the white frosting on top. It was a decent semisweet piece of cake. My husband's cake was okay. It reminded me of a strawberry shortcake. It tasted light and fluffy and had a hint of sweet. Overall this bakery was okay. I liked the brightness of the bakery, the polite service and the sweets. read more

This bakery is super cute and smells amazing! Their most popular bread sells out early, so get here in the morning to try those. They have a nice assortment of bread and pastries at reasonable prices. They also have really pretty cakes. I got the mocha bread and chocolate croissant. The mocha bread was such a good creamy dessert bread, and the croissant was delicious as well. My friend got the iced matcha latte, which was so sweet and very good. The staff were extremely friendly and so apologetic that they didn't have almond milk left. They have wifi and a few tables, so you can work/study here. read more

I've been eating at this place for at least 10+ years but different location, mainly the dfw area. Things have gone down hill over the years and I keep going back hoping it will be better. I can tell you that i use to be able to eat a whole cake by myself but that's not the case anymore. It suppose to be moist, soft, and fresh but now they use old fruits and the cake is really dry. I understand that everything has gone up but for a mediocre cake prices are crazy high for some flour and heavy cream. Very disappointing and I will go back to my normal Chinese bakery again. read more

A game changing Korean fusion bakery. Each item here is so beautifully packaged and presented amidst a forest-woodsy ambiance. They have a huge range from sweet to savory items: macarons, croquettes, cakes, milk bread and all espresso/boba drinks. You simply grab a tray and some tongs and walk around the store self-selecting your items. At the counter, you can add the cold items/drinks to your order and sit at one of the tables to eat. Our faves: the matcha cloud cake (the softest, and not overtly sweet), the matcha brownie (tastes like fudgy brownies with matcha white chocolate) and the curry croquette. Each is a solid 10/10. Their espresso was also robust and complemented all of the sweets. My absolutely favorite bakery in town! read more

Growing up in Dallas, I've had my fair share of Tous Les Jours visits whenever we would come by Asian supermarkets. It was always a treat to look forward to. Therefore, this franchise will always have a beloved place in my heart. That being said, this is probably by far the best TLJ location I've enjoyed going to. The desserts are always superb, and the customer service is outstanding! We recently visited to browse for cakes and goodies for a girls' night in. Because of COVID-19, the tables and chairs inside are now gone. The workers were super nice throughout our visit. We just couldn't make up our minds, so we kept going in circles eyeing the wide array of choices. Thankfully the workers had great recommendations! They took their time packaging our cakes and accommodated our requests. My go-to items are always the Cloud Piece Cake and the Milk Bread. JUST PURE FLUFFY GOODNESS! You can't go wrong with their macarons either. I've tried various flavors, and all of them have been divine! Treat yourself and visit this place! You won't be disappointed! read more

If you want to choose from their full selection, make sure to get their earlier in the day because stuff does run out pretty quickly! That being said, the servers are super friendly and the pastries and drinks are pretty good! My only complaint is that the green tea latte had more of a powder taste rather than real green tea. I had hoped for a deeper green tea taste, but it was just very sweet. read more

We came in trying to cut thru the parking lot and deceided to stop in. It was our first time even though we lived in this neighborhood about 12 years ago. When you walk in it smells like bread. They bake everything everyday and when they are out of something it is out. My daughter wanted to try the morning bread but apparently we took too long and it was snatched up. I ended up getting the Spinach Feta Danish which was good. It was the perfect blend of spinach and danish. I didn't think it would mesh but it did. I also got the Caramel Apple Pie which I eat later. My daughter got the Foliage Sausage Bread which she loved. It was soft enough that it didn't mess with her braces and she said it felt she was in another country. She also got the Vanilla Cream Doughnut which she had immediately after the sausage bread and she loved it. I tried it and it was better than any doughnut I have had. I also got the Honey Lavender Matcha Latte and I will say I have tried matcha at a couple places trying to figure it out. I think I found the one I like. It does pick up bc as soon as we got ours the place started picking up. They have tons of seating inside and outside. They offer free wifi but I had no need for it. They have signs advising to that since it is so fresh to eat same day or within a day. I can honestly say that this would be a hike from S Austin that I am willing to take. We will definitely be back so my daughter can get that morning bread and so I can try more. read more

Between my mom and I we tried several pastries. With the exception of the chocolate croissant it was all very plain. Even the part of the croissants without chocolate was a bit blah. Honestly, if I went on some kind of sugar free diet these pastries would probably have a ton of flavor, but as it is now, neither mom nor I could really taste much of anything. The flavor has a light maybe the flavor was there? Maybe it was my imagination? Going for it. The chocolate part of the croissants were definitely 4 stars however! read more

This is a cute Korean bakery. They're a franchise and have a couple of locations here and the other inside H-Mart. My favorite is their milk soft bread and hazelnut bread. They do serve drinks here, but they're best known for their bakery items. I've come here several times to grab a cake for a friend's birthday and it's so nice how they will box your cake up with a "cake kit." The kit includes a cake knife/spatula, candles + match. One of my go to bakeries in Austin. In recent years, I really grew out of sweet things and I became really picky with the types of cakes and pastries I get. One of my favorite things about Tous Les Jours is that its always hits the right balance with the sweetness. My family and I pretty much always get their fruit cakes for our birthdays and we LOVE their buttercream loaves. They do a phenomenal job in delivering delicious desserts and maintaining just the right balance across the board with sweetness, texture, fluffiness of the bread, etc,. I also really enjoy their drinks as well. If you are up to try to things and enjoy something with a bit of carbonation - highly highly recommend their Strawberry Ade. It might give you a good burp afterwards but it's so refreshing on a sunny day. I also really love their Caramel Macchiatos! Their milk teas are pretty good but I'm not a super big fan of the tapiocas itself. That tends to be a hit or miss, sometimes the bobas too hard/too chewy so I normally just stick with either the Ades or the coffees. read more
