This location of Medici Roasting can be easy to miss, because it's right at the entrance of the Domain and connected to the Flatiron residences. The space is compact but well laid out, with a mix of indoor and outdoor seating. Very modern interior so it feels like a place to bring your laptop or have a work meeting. My latte was great, and they also offer tea, pastries, and a few small bites. The staff didn't come across as particularly welcoming during my visit, but definitely not rude and still very quick with service. I wasn't sure about parking, there was a surface lot across the street where there's a FedEx and a few other stores, and a few other surface lots not too far, but with the limited tree cover at the Domain, that could be a hot walk in the summer. read more

Medici Roasting is located at the edge of the Domain shopping center adjacent to Flatiron residences at Braker Lane and Domain Blvd. Medici Roasting, a small space, has seating inside and outside along with a work area. The coffee shop has a soothing paint color with clean architecture. They serve coffee, tea and assorted pastries (croissants, muffins, bagels and other small bites.) I had the iced Malabar tonic, a fresh milled American herbal tea, which appeared to have ingredients with medicinal benefits (turmeric, ginger, lemongrass, licorice root and black pepper.) The notes of ginger and turmeric paired well together and made for a satisfying drink from the cold temperature and the flavor palate. It was soothing to drink although I did not what expect when I ordered the tea. My cashier was helpful to suggest popular menu items. She also suggested the best place to park was across the street. Watchout: Parking is across the street. You have to cross two lanes of traffic to arrive at Medici. Non-peak hours would be the best time to visit. While the space is small, it feels larger due the floor to ceiling window emitting natural light. They also have free reliable WiFi for those who want to work while having a beverage and pastry. They made me wait for 15 min and upon inquiring, she realized she got the order as drip coffee( which takes 15 sec to fill a cup). When I asked for my pour over, she asked me to wait. Upon asking for the wait time, she vaguely said 10-15 min. I can understand mistakes can happen, but the barista didn't even bother listening to what I was saying. We were at the Domain , for a farewell party and wanted to grab a drink and had to get a seat outside for my work meeting. Ambiance is great, but the staff don't seem super enthusiastic to be there. I get it, when it's a Saturday afternoon and the morning rush has faded, it can be hard to stay motivated...but still. I give five stars mostly because of the ambiance. I've only ever tried the golden milk latte from here, which I find they put together well. Since I was feeling snackish when I went, I also got a strawberry jam Danish which tasted pretty good! I would recommend they get more vegetarian savory options. This location is farthest North Medici goes, and although it is smaller than their Springdale location the quality of drinks are what keeps me satisfied without having to drive deep into Austin. My favorite drink is the cortado but any drink I've tried here has been nothing less of delicious! Service is fast and friendly, while my only complaint is finding a parking spot. Parking is all parallel and normally taken up, but if you're ok with a walk, there's plenty of parking in the surrounding area! Even during peak hours they tend to be quick while providing quality drinks! Definitely recommend! read more

This is my go to for the perfect matcha! I love the honey syrup they have which feels like a nicer alternative to simple syrup. The barista was super friendly and it's great that they combat food waste by having half off all pastries after 3pm. The decor inside is warm and cozy, parking is a little challenging but not impossible especially if it's fine to park at a nearby parking lot and walk over. Of course their coffee is perfect and it's always a hard decision to pick between a matcha or coffee over here. read more

I've been probably five times since it changed from Craftwork Coffee to Medici. It was ok before but has really declined. - music is so loud inside - they don't serve drip coffee because they are so understaffed they don't have time to brew it -- I know, bizarre - whatever beans they use for the americano shots are the weirdest tasting. This has been my go-to coffee shop for some time. It's the best it's ever been since they got a new store manager. It's consistently clean; it's cuter inside (with more seasonal decor); and my drinks come out more uniform. The whole team is amazing, and they make the experience amazing. Despite walking by half a dozen other coffee shops (including Houndstooth and Summer Moon) while walking the dog in the AM, Medici Domain is where I like to spend my money. read more

I really like Medici and used to visit the West Lynn location daily. However, this location of Medici is disappointing. The baristas seem inexperienced and the drinks are just a mess taste-wise. Some stars for being sort of easy to access on the outskirts of the Domain. I'm glad they put a shop further north, but needs lots of improvement. read more

I went there and there was someone reading a book behind the counter and had the other person take my order. Stood there for like two minutes while this barista worked hard to get drinks out. When I finally got my drink the Wi-Fi was out and I go there to work. It's just a huge bummer to I have a good shop lack communication and service like that. read more
