Friendly staff and good ice cream? Sign us up. We recently visited Maggie Moo's and had a great experience. Parking is very easy to find as it's located in a shopping center and having both indoor and outdoor seating is great as you can bring your dog. When inside we noticed how clean it was and it seemed like it was a popular spot as well. We ordered a chocolate scoop in a cup and a mint chocolate chip in a cone. We were also offered a pup cup for our dog, which was very nice and made us happy he was included in things. They have a good variety of flavors and toppings there to choose from so you can customize things to your liking. The price was as expected for a smaller, seemingly family owned place. The service was good so it seemed a bit more fair considering that. We sat outside since we had our dog with us and jumped right into our ice cream and it was great. The texture of the ice cream is perfect and the flavors are not over sweet or off like some places can be at times. Rather, between the hot Texas sun and the cool ice cream, it felt like the perfect way to cap off a Saturday. We don't live too close by but if we're ever in the area again, we would happily stop by and support Maggie Moo's and you should too. read more

Maggie Moo's is good. Is it $10 for a shake good? Nope. Is it $8 for a couple of scoops of ice cream good? Nope. But if you have kids that want something sweet while you're in this specific shopping plaza, go for it. It's fun for the kids because they get to pick from a large selection of toppings and sugar to mix into their diabetes meal. The service has been friendly the two times we've been here in the last 5 years. Other than this place being unreasonably overpriced, there's really not much to complain about. read more

Maggie Moo's used to be our go-to ice cream spot about 10 years ago, so we decided to stop by while we were in the neighborhood. They still offer free toppings and waffle cones, and the portion sizes are generous. I got the salted caramel cake flavor--it was okay, but nothing special. Also noticed the strawberry ice cream looked very dark pink, almost like it was just food coloring rather than real fruit. Sadly, the overall quality just isn't what it used to be. read more

The first thing when you walk in is bright and happy vibes. The aura here is great! We saw some of the reviews and were a bit skeptical about coming here. We also heard they had really good ice cream, so we had to try. The nice lady who helped us gave us a sample of almost every flavor they had. She asked if it was our first time. Which it was. And gave us her suggestions on the best flavors. She did not steer us wrong. I liked so many. I had to go with the banana split since I got 3 flabmvors. They also give you unlimited toppings on your ice cream for no uncharged. This place has some fire ice cream and a great place to sit, relax, and enjoy yourself. I have to admit whoever wrote those reviews before were wrong or they got some 5 star employees now. Cause my wife and I highly enjoyed our experience here. We will be back! read more

Daughters LOVE this place. They've made artwork at home about it. Staff is friendly and helpful with questions about the products, seating can be a problem if there's a queue for service (sometimes you get large parties of people who come in, try to get to the door before them) read more

This is kind of your run-of-the-mill ice cream shop. I'd say it's one below Coldstone (Baskin-Robbins is my fave). Their ice cream is still yummy if you're craving ice cream and don't want to drive too far. There are usually a lot of people here, both inside and outside of the shop, especially in the summer. The service is easy and friendly. This place is also very much kid-approved. :) read more

Delicious double chocolate ice cream mixed with almonds and Heath toffee bites. This ice cream shop is located in the same shopping center with Hobby Lobby, next to Chipotle and Smoothie King. I sampled some flavors and the espresso beans and double chocolate stand out the most. Banana has a mild flavor. Salted caramel is too sweet. Pricing is reasonable. You can choose as many toppings as you want as long as they fit in the bowl, and they will mix them like how Cold Stone does. I recommend keeping the toppings simple with some crunchy texture from nuts and one more from your favorite candy bar. The shop is clean, staff is not the friendliest but they do what they need to do at a minimum. Be sure to check in on Yelp for 20% off. read more

Inaccurate hours. No information in their immediate website about being closed. Nothing reflecting this on Yelp either or Apple Maps.

so this is my new fav place. I've been in Oklahoma and have been missing the braum's ice cream chain. since moving back to Texas I've been looking for a replacement, and Maggie moos goes above and beyond!! everyone was so friendly, and I was offered a free sample. after I finished that, I was given a cup of ice cream with snickers and peanut butter cups. the girl who mixed it was phenomenal. not a penny for charged for the best ice cream I've had yet (my mothers homemade ice cream being the obvious exception, of course). 12 out of 10 for Maggie moos, and I will definitely be back for more!! read more

I love Maggie moos the employees are always nice and I love their ice cream and all the different choices of add-ins 10/10 recommend.

So I'm more of a milkshake person than a ice cream person and this place definitely knows how to make a good milkshake. I will tell you that YOU MUST TRY THE SNICKERS MILKSHAKE. I always finish my milkshakes but this one made me feel like I bit off more than I can chew lol. That large should be a extra large lol. My wife and kids can never finish their ice cream either which means more for the next day and trust me they are just as excited to finish it the next day. You will definitely be getting your money's worth out of this place. The customer service is also really good hear, no matter who helps you they are always friendly and helpful. read more

Maggie Moo's - Half of the menu - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Round Rock, Texas

I love Maggie moos! Being from California my go to ice cream spot was cold stone creamery, and Maggie moos gives that exact feeling with similar flavors and mixins galore it was like I was back home! I love how sweet the concoctions are it always helps to limit my actual intake, I get a pint and keep it for about a month & it's just as good as the first day I purchased. This is definitely my go to ice cream location read more

I have been coming here for years but something has dramatically changed and today will be my last visit. I came here for the Better Batter... but they have changed the flavor and now it just tastes like vanilla :( Their portion size has been greatly reduced. My regular cone used to overflow & now it's half full. The child's cup is now a tiny clear plastic lid, is incredibly messy because it is melting over... they used to be served in a tall white cup, which contained ALL of the ice cream... which is the whole point lol. And my girls and I loved the rainbow sprinkles (for texture not taste) but they now have these TINY little hard dots. Lastly, their butterfinger topping was so incredibly stale that I almost considered throwing the whole thing away. I'm so sad. I've tried 3x since the changes & I continue to be disappointed. read more

So good and great customer service! There was only one person working but she did great serving everyone as quickly as possible.

This review is for the ice cream only. Today we had ice cream catered by Maggie Moo, in Round Rock, at my job. We had four options of ice cream: Vanilla, chocolate, butter pecan, strawberry and raspberry sorbet. Topping choices: Heath bar, Oreo cookie, pecans and rainbow sprinkles. I went with one scoop of strawberry and one scoop of chocolate. I put the Heath bar and rainbow sprinkles as my topping. The ice cream was delicious! The Heath bar topping was very good and I haven't had that as a topping before. The servers were courteous and helpful. read more

So yummy! Many flavors and topping to pick from! The whole fam loves it! The employee are super kind and very quick

Manager and staff are rude; ice cream tastes like the refrigerator; cake is stale; and store is dirty. I will never buy from this store again read more

I am scratching my head trying to figure out why Maggie Moos has such abysmal ratings. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and was promptly greeted by nice staff. The ice cream was great and had a lot of toppings to choose from...zero problems. I hope they stay in business as there's not any other ice cream places around my hood! read more

Unprofessional staff. Came in for an online order that was placed ahead of time order was still not ready, I was in a hurry so I asked how long the order would take they said 5 minutes. 7 minutes later I asked for the order again and the girl said I'm making it now. I asked her why would you tell me 5 minutes if you were not intending on making it. She said calm down it's just ice cream, I am making it. I said there are 4 people here and she said they are in training. I asked for her managers information and she said she was not going to give me her information and that she was going to cancel my online order. There were 4 young employees one with red hair a hispanic boy and two other girls. They were all in the back talking when I came in.I asked all of them for the managers information one more time and they ALL walked to the back of the store laughing and left me by myself. Please hire professional staff. You have so many one star reviews on your site, now I understand why. read more

My friend and I stopped by after eating at a restaurant nearby and we had a great time! I like how they have different flavor combinations because it makes it easier to order and you can customize whatever you choose. I ordered the Butter Pecan Port of Call which is butter pecan ice cream with pecans, chocolate chips and caramel! I might just be frugal, but I thought the price for the cone was a little bit much, so I ended up getting my ice cream in a cup even though the waffle cones looked very good. The ice cream was delicious and I loved how generous they were with the pecans and chocolate chips! It definitely satisfied my sweet tooth. Maggie Moo's doesn't really strike me as anything special, but their ice cream is good and they give you a very generous scoop! read more

Amazing ice cream! We come here and it never disappoints! Staff is polite and courteous.

I love this place! It's so nostalgic for me to come here. There was a Maggie Moo's in my hometown so it's great that there is a location here. I always get their blue cotton candy ice cream with rainbow sprinkles. I usually get their quart of blue cotton candy to take home as well. The staff is always so sweet to me and they're very patient whenever it's busy as well. I've never had a bad experience here and I'd say I come pretty often. read more

DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT get ice cream here. They sent me an email for a free ice cream for my birthday. Went in and because I did not "print" they would not honor it. I had it in my email. It takes a lot for me to go on a public forum and complain, but... Place is filthy! Read reviews from 21days ago that mention buckets on floors from a leak - they're still there. Roof is leaking and apparently has remained unfixed. High chairs are disgustingly dirty. Mold built up in the ice cream cases along the glass hinges. Every table was filthy - not dirty, but filthy. Air vents on ice cream units are dirty. Ceiling tiles have numerous water stains from leaks. Goodness Gracious!! Ice cream was delicious, albeit softer than I'd expect (maybe ice cream freezers aren't operating properly). Free mix-ins. Lot of good things overlooked because of lack of cleanliness. You'd think that with prices of $10+ for two small cups, they could afford to repair equipment and spend some labor to clean the place up. Unfortunately, looks like Amy's or Baskins will get my business and many other people who have complained. Poor Mgmt/ownership. read more

We ordered an item with nuts on the top and when I asked for them to make the item with no nuts we were asked why(not really your business, but fine) ...I told her I have an allergy to nuts, she refused to make the item stating that their toppings are crossed contaminated. I explained that it is a mild allergy and it is my choice if I want to put myself at risk, they still refused, so my husband tried to order the item without nuts and she refused to make it for him. Maybe just put a sign like every other business does that "items may be cross contaminated". Also, do you know how many people eat food/nuts every day and have no idea they have a food or peanut allergy? Maybe you should just refuse to serve anyone "just in-case" Needless to say, we took our whole family elsewhere and will never return. read more

First time coming to Maggie Moo's. Can't say I was wowed and my husband and I will probably not be back. We frequent other ice cream and froyo shops, so we're used to paying for premium desserts. But I felt the price was a little unfair for how much ice cream you actually get. We both got one scoop and two add-ins (which apparently are free anyway) and our bill was $12. When we were handed the cups the ice cream was already melting and it was a soupy mess. I realize it's ice cream, it's going to melt, but this was a little excessive. I'm not sure if the cooling plate wasn't turned all the way down or what. On top of that the shop was dirty, there was trash everywhere, and the employees were painfully awkward and uncomfortable. read more

I used to come here all the time with my kids, and we got out routine.. that and the $4 cups gets old. But, Tuesday, we came with the kids and enjoyed ourselves!! Different flavors! Love it. The drink we ordered wasn't like the picture. That's not a big problem, but it's a downer. For whatever reason they didn't have ice water. That's just weird. Am I the only one that likes water with my ice cream? Cool place though. read more

I think this place is like cold stone creamery that takes basic ice cream base and mix in the toppings, a more upscale blizzard and more pricey too. I ordered a cup of vanilla ice cream mixed with brownies, cherries and caramel. For all this to work the base ice cream needs to be good and I didn't think it was, it was lacking vanilla flavor and didn't stand out. The cup had a decent amount of brownie pieces, but the caramel made it way too sweet for my taste. My son did like his smores ice cream mix and saw that they even have cereal mixes which is more geared towards kids who love anything sugar. read more
