Got the dark chocolate and Oreo from this establishment. Would recommend the dark chocolate rather than the Oreo. More cream than cookie. I did not really like the gummy-ness of the ice cream, but that's just my preference. Everyone was every nice and attentive. The tables were clean and sitting outside when the sun went down was pleasant, if it wasn't for the cars in the background. Also don't get the complimentary water if you don't like the taste of tap water. I would have liked some ice cold tap water instead. Follow me for trying other ice creams in the Austin-round rock area. read more

It didn't disappoint at all! I got the grape koolaid and the vegan Mexican vanilla mixed. It has become one of my favorite treats. Everyone was so nice and I love the way the store is set up. read more

It has been a few months since I last visited Amy's ice cream and this is my first visit to this location, but it was far different then my prior experiences. Normally staff is very interactive and adds a lot of fun to the customer experience. This visit the staff was almost comatose. Instead of the normal warm, welcome and greeting. I got a stare when it came to time to place my order. I went with my standard small Mexican vanilla with strawberries... And the only question was do you want them mixed in? Absolutely! Was my reply. Food wise - The Mexican vanilla ice cream was up to standard, the amount of strawberries was in considerably less than normal. Overall, a disappointing visit. The time my visit 30 minutes before closing may have contributed to the experience, but that is not normally the case with Amy's. Other locations always rock, and it may just be an off night for this location - I will try again now that I'm in this area more regularlly. read more

Amy's Ice Creams - Small Mexican vanilla with strawberries - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Round Rock, Texas

Delicious! There were so many options that I asked a server her favorite and I'm glad I did. This was my first time here so I was in a daze reviewing all the flavors. I mixed cinnamon (something) with a bulletproof coffee. It was divine! read more

Amy's Ice Creams - Entry - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Round Rock, Texas

I loved my Golden Crunch ice cream, from Amy's. It had toffee and chocolate. It was delicious! Everything was very clean, it was a bit loud but only because more people kept coming in. Service was very good and the girl who waited on us remembered all the details on each one of our orders. She also offered us samples which came in very handy as we had never been to an Amy's before. The small cup was the perfect size for me because we came here after having had sushi. I will be on the lookout for other Amy's from now on! read more

WOW - I had some Amy's Ice Cream delivered because I was stuck at the house. I got the cold pressed vanilla with three toppings. Everything was carefully, individually packed in a sealed temperature bag with a small freezer pack in it. The flavor and quality were premium! There were even two spoons and a little brochure with directions on how to properly mix in the toppings in with the ice cream. I was very impressed, and I will be back. I highly recommend Amy's !!! read more

Wow!! Great ice cream!!! Four of us ate enough ice cream for 7 people ! Starting with the smallest appetite, the mint chocolate chip was pronounced to be delish! The rest of us really proved that Amy's knows how to provide! The Amy's virgin had Oreo ice cream with hot fudge, pecan praline sauce, and coconut. All in a waffle cone! She needed a cup to catch the overflow! Two of us had Belgian chocolate ice cream with Reese's cups chopped in! It was so terrific! And the fourth person had hot fudge on top of her chocolate with Reese's! Heavenly. Our scooper was friendly and terrific. I believe her name is Jessica( I could be wrong) but she wore a Universal Studios baseball cap. She was a delight! Thanks for making our visit delish! We sat and enjoyed and by the time we left, the line was almost as long as the store is ! What a great evening! read more

Amy's Ice Creams - We just made it before the crowd!! The line just before we left! - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Round Rock, Texas

We popped in for a quick sweet treat on our way home. This location is super cute, had tables indoor and some picnic tables outside. They had a sign with some despicable me themes for ice cream. Very on brand for the new movie. I got the Freeze Ray and the mister tried the Kyle. Highly recommend both. There were a few people inside when we got there, the line moved fast and the staff was very friendly. read more

Over the years, my family and I have cherished our experiences at Amy's, especially during our time in the Austin area. While I've visited nearly all of their locations, the one on Burnett Rd remains my preferred spot. They recently opened this Round Rock, TX location, conveniently situated near I-35 northbound, boasts a spacious interior compared to others. It offers the full array of Amy's ice cream flavors, and their merchandise is readily available at checkout. Personally, I adore the Mexican vanilla flavor with a delightful mix of gummy bears and rainbow sprinkles. The service here wasn't too bad at all. I had a great time and experience at this location. I am very glad I don't have to drive far when I get the craving for Amy's ice cream. read more

This location has yet to disappoint. I've been more than once and enjoyed my experience every time. The customer service is always 10/10 and the ice cream is delicious. It's clean as well and has a decent amount of seating - inside and out! I would 100% recommend coming here. Amy's is an ATX staple and this new location is no less delicious! read more

Amy's Ice Creams - Sweet Cream + Oreo topping (Tiny cup size) - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Round Rock, Texas

Make sure your employees check the register before checking out a different customer!!! I got charged for an order more that was not in our party of 4 . When going inside one of the employee had attitude and tried to give us a free ice cream card instead of refunding what was not ours. How is it that the employees do not know how to do a simple refund, it should be one of the comon basic trainings for a register. It took more than 15 minutes to recieve a refund by the time they finished our ice cream our order that was over $30 was completely melted did not get to enjoy our ice cream. read more

I have tried Mexican vanilla and Oreo. The mexican vanilla has strong vanilla bean flavor with a very smoth texture and right amount of sweetness, it tasted great. Stopped by Amy's ice cream on a hot summer day and the Oreo ice cream actually saved my life. Lot of good flavors and menu could be overwelming if you don't know what you want. Just ask for sample if you see a flavor you're curious about. I'll have to comeback when they have pistachio but my first visit was good. Service is friendly and there are plenty of seats inside. Now that it's warming up I can see more people coming out for ice cream. read more

Very disappointed, me and my daughter drove almost 25 mins to try this place since it is no school on Friday now, first impression my little girl did not get to see the ice cream since it was not display in front of us that we can see, secondly and most importantly the ice cream was not good, it should called milk- shake instead of ice cream. my daughter took the ice cream with her when i pay if i see how melted the ice cream was i will have refused the purchase, sorry i cant even leave one star , to me it was a NO second time for me read more

A solid ice cream experience with an equally cute and weird storefront that makes the experience special. Plus a multitude of flavor and topping options that will hit any ice cream craving you may be having. It's a weirdly Austin take on your standard cold stone or Marbleslab type spot, but with a touch more heart. Staff was nice and the look and vibe of the store is too fun to miss if you are feeling a scoop in the area. read more

3.5 I had never heard of this store before but was excited to see what it was like after seeing some of the fun flavors online. When we arrived there were far fewer flavors which was a tad disappointing but it was fine. There were about five flavors that were gluten-free so I was able to get something. I had the Mexican Vanilla and my friend had the Belgian Chocolate. I really liked the vanilla flavor as it had a very unique flavor, maybe a floral-based honey? The store is a bit smaller but there are tables to sit at and the staff was knowledgeable about what they had, let me try a small sample and then were able to flip scoops into the air and into the cup which was pretty neat. They had a small promo with a token and vending machine. I got a discount paper and a cute toy. I'll go back even if I can't have all the flavors. A nice shop. read more

I guess my comment is that I paid $7.50 for basically whipped coffee milkshake! When the lady rang us up I looked over to the container that she used to make the shake and there was enough for at Least a half glass of a milkshake. So what do they do with that? Wouldn't it be a nice idea to give the rest of it to the person that over paid for the milkshake! Do they throw it away or do the employees drink? I certainly learned a valuable lesson! I could have stopped at the C-store and bought a Hagen Das for $3.80 made my own! read more

Amy's is a delicious austin staple. The ice cream is well made and elevated with toppings and sauces. Their hot fudge is to die for! The only thing Amy's needs to work on is how they handle a busy rush. We waited in line for over 20 minutes just to get some ice cream. They only had two people working and it was clearly not enough. read more

My first visit to an Austin institution. There's a nice little children's play area behind the 183 location. The people were the star of this visit. I could taste every flavor that attracted me (taste the Belgian chocolate first, before the deep, rich dark chocolate). Everyone was so nice and friendly! There are all sorts of toppings and mix-ins (I didn't indulge; I'm on a purist streak), and some very beautiful frosted cookies on offer. I think I have spent too many years eating inferior, mass-produced frozen treats: the texture of the ice cream was too velvety smooth and creamy for my taste. How is that even possible? read more

The family had ice cream, gelato, and custard all over Noth America and Europe. But the one we love the most is Mexican Vanilla from Amy's Ice Creams. This new location was close to our hotel, so we had to get some Mexican Vanilla. Employees were extremely friendly and helpful. Pricing was appropriate for high-end ice cream. Plenty of parking. read more

My husband got me a delicious ice cream cake for my birthday. Every one loved it. We also have gone here for ice cream and it is delicious.

Worst customer service EVER! The workers just stood there and were not helpful. They did not give me what I ordered and when I told them it was the wrong thing the didn't do anything about it. It was overpriced and didn't even taste good. The employees were overall not helpful, not informative, and kinda rude in my opinion. I will never be going again. If you do go I would be extremely clear with what you want and don't expect to much from it read more

in this amy's, none of the employees had hairnets and me and my friends all found hair in our ice cream more than once. the parlor was decorated nicely, however all of the employees seemed to not want to be there. also, they did not listen to my friend's order, she asked for a small, but they gave her and charged for a large. read more

This place has some of the worst customer service. The staff is too young not to be led by someone who can direct them. Service is slow, and they tend to be out of many flavors. I was surprised with selection of ice cream flavors are limited and basic. Why have oreo ice cream when you can just add oreo mixins. i got the brownie sundae in which the brownie was hard and stale.
