My husband ordered the Farmhouse, which was okay but felt a bit heavy on the potatoes. I tried the seasonal Chimichurri Steak & Eggs Hash, and that was definitely the highlight of our meal. It had great flavor and was something we both really enjoyed. We also ordered the Million Dollar Bacon, which was honestly disappointing. The bacon was sliced fairly thin and wasn't as crispy as we expected. We think it would benefit from either a thicker cut or a crispier preparation. The biggest letdown for us was the waffle. It arrived soggy, overly salty, and lacked the crisp exterior we were hoping for. Some times there's a wait, but they have an extra table where you get seated faster but end up sitting with strangers, which I think is fine. The restaurant has high ceilings and feels open. The staff is friendly. They give the kids an activity sheet and crayons to keep them busy while they wait. We did have one instance where my grandson's food came late. This place seem seems to be hit or miss. It is always busy on the weekends and this last week I took my daughter there during week for a mommy and me brunch. She had the chocolate chip pancake some eggs and bacon which were pretty good. Although she did say that the bacon was a bit greasy to her liking, but she adored the pancake. I tried the smoked salmon Benedict however, the eggs came out pretty much hard boiled the first time and so I had to get them replaced. It took a little while. Finally she came back and it was fine. We were in the area and I was invited to try this place for a cozy breakfast. I now have a favorite breakfast spot in this part of town. We were surrounded by friendly and cheerful people at the community table. The coffee and water were ever flowing, as the service was very attentive to everyone. I ordered the ham and gruyere omelet, with fruit and salad. The gruyere and ham were a perfect cheese lover's omelet. The place was very clean and there was plenty of parking. Visited for the first time ever yesterday and given that it was brunch time on a Sunday it was super packed. We got checked in and waited about 45 mins to be seated. The menu is impressive, everything sounded delicious and we received good service. After much deliberation, I settled on a 1/2 Ham and Gueyere Melt and Cup of Broccoli Soup combo ($12). It was pretty good. I just wish the sandwich was a little more toasted and the soup was a little more hot (it was lukewarm). My friend ordered the Million Dollar Bacon which I was able to try and that was very tasty. We came in around 945. Short wait for 2 however we opted to sit outside due to the beautiful weather . Out side is first come first serve full service seating but only 4 tables. I had the market veg hash- 5/5 comes with potato , spinach, mushroom, onion and peppers topped with 2 eggs and toast. Next plate was better but several pieces had burnt ends. Surprised no check that burnt food is being served but I suppose if nobody refuses it then it will continue to be served. In addition she forgot the side of bacon and additional plate for us to split our meal. He didn't know how the rest of the meal went and it stood out as a very awesome way to manage. Hadn't been to First Watch in Round Rock so we decided to have a Saturday brunch. Figured it'd be busy and was not aware of the opportunity to get on the wait list before arriving. We checked in immediately upon arriving and wound up waiting for 50 minutes. Wasn't too thrilled with that. The good news was the entire staff we were exposed to were super friendly and the food was very tasty. The restaurant was well decorated and kept clean in spite of the super heavy traffic.
