Got delivery from here via Caviar and it was right on time. Both of our orders were correct and delicious. I had the halloumi egg sandwich with avocado added (highly recommend this way) and my partner had the egg biscuit sandwich with added cheddar. I loved the biscuit and would swap out any sandwich for that bread in future orders. We finished with a almond croissant which was delicious and filled with marzipan. read more

Food is great, service is lousy. Don't recommend getting takeout as after multiple visits got home only to realize they gave me the wrong order- someone else's order or not what I ordered online. When brought back, the staff accused me of either mis-ordering or picking up wrong order, rather than offer a simple apology for their mistakes. read more

Sometimes I want to admire my shoes, and I appreciate that they provide a good backdrop for this activity. Earthy color palate: lots of white, browns, earthy greens and a touch of gold. Well executed. I see no less than six (6) different types of light fixtures. Great variety. The same type of joy I get in the lighting aisle in Home Depot. Plenty of seating so I don't have to socialize with other humans. Should be a focus of every coffeeshop. Let's talk about green. They do green well. How? In flourishes: the back wall is green tile, as are the menu boards and even the bags of coffee. Great coordination. Color brought in by strategic placement of a few plants; most notably the silver dollar eucalyptus arrangement on the central community table (made of reclaimed wood, another excellent choice). Bakery section is separate from coffee bar, filled to the brim behind glass with pastries that somehow also match the aesthetic of the cafe. It's really the small details that pull the color palette together. Anywhere that sells this much gluten is good in my book (although I may have to make revisions to said book as I just found out I am in fact allergic to gluten, which has been absolutely devastating). Excellent font selection; a serif font on the menu boards? Extraordinary. Handwriting-style cursive on the coffee sleeves and t-shirts? Revolutionary. Side note: what do you call the cardboard sleeve that insulates your hands from a hot drink? Google gives these options: coffee cup sleeves, coffee sleeves, coffee clutches, coffee cozies, hot cup jackets, paper zarfs, coffee collars, and cup holders. Coffee bar is a separate island in the room, ringed in lights and stained wood cabinetry with a sign hanging over it that says "COFFEE BAR". I want one in my home just like this. The whole bar. Industrial espresso maker included. Despite it being 97 degrees and humid outside, one woman walked in wearing purple fur-lined gloves. Bonus points for attracting classy clientele. Two walls are made of windows. Heck to the yes. Gimme all the light. The baristas are all stylish?? Do they have a massive group chat to coordinate their outfits every morning? An unspoken bandana understanding? Even the ones that have arrived since I've been here match the aesthetic flawlessly. Excellent hiring. Ceiling is a maze of pipes, vents, wiring, and beams, all painted white. Gives me factory vibes, but in a trendy way. Vanilla latte was delicious. No bitter aftertaste. Tatte hits the spot every single time. I've never taken someone here who didn't love it. My all-time favorites are the avocado tartine and the muesli, but I've probably tried 1/4 of their extensive menu at this point and have enjoyed everything. The pastries are wonderful--I'd recommend the chocolate rose. What makes Tatte stand out to me is the healthy, well-rounded, yet absolutely delicious meal options they have for breakfast. The pricing is well worth it for the quality and portion they serve. All the Tatte locations I've been to have been consistent, which I appreciate. read more

Avocado toast here is great. I also ordered a vanilla latte which was perfect and not too sweet. The ambiance is nice but very busy. Had brunch here on a Sunday morning in July with two other friends. Plenty of tables inside. Several tables outside. Food was very good. Shakshukas very tasty, highly recommend those. Sandwiches very tasty. The coffee barista for some reason put our coffees in take out cups even though we were eating there and didn't offer to remake them in regular cups. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars. We will be back I am sure. read more

I went in today at around 3:00 for a late lunch and it was packed with mainly people on their laptops with empty drink containers. There were no seats available. One woman used 2 tables, one for her laptop, and the other for her tablet. Two friends, each with their own table, actually took off their sneakers and sat there glued to their laptops. What is going on? I really enjoy the food here, and would come here more often if more people were courteous and mindful of others. Perhaps, laptop owners can use the middle table or the counter space? It's really getting out of hand. read more

I like this Brookline location because there is plenty of indoor seating--that is, if you can find a seat. It shouldn't be so difficult to find a table for two at 4 PM on a Sunday, but nearly all of the tables along the window were occupied by one student at a table, working on his/her laptop, not any food or drink in sight. You probably don't want to lose this customer base, but what about the other people who would like something to eat and drink and are not going to take up a table for hours on end? There were only a few people eating/drinking at the communal table as well. You could impose a time limit at tables, but that would never be enforced. You could also have a designated area, perhaps the counter seats, for people working on their laptops. It's really discriminating against regular people who just want to enjoy a cafe for what it is--and not a place to work. read more

Ordered take out. My daughter wanted a Vanilla Donut and they substituted a pistachio donut instead. She has a nut allergy and never let us know they ran out of the Vanilla donut. When I asked the manager she said they were too busy to call us, too busy to refund us the money and I would have to wait. My egg sandwich had shells in it and not fresh sprouts. They don't appreciate the business and acted they they did us a favor. read more
