Great bubble tea place with a large variety of options! TBaar is one of the few places that offer Mixed Jelly as a topping option, which is always such a treat. I've tried a few drinks off their menu and it has always been good. They have fruit teas, milk teas, and smoothies. I have yet to try any of the food options so this review is only based on their drink selection. There are some tables and seats available inside. Staff have always been nice! My friend and I had a pick up order of two brown sugar milk teas. The boba was a good texture and chew, and the tea sweetness was pretty good. However, the tea had a weird burnt coffee taste to it. I assume it's because the tea was cooked in the same container as burnt coffee. It wasn't terrible, but it was very off putting. Back after a few months. We got strawberry cheese foam, Dragon Fruit foam cheese, brown sugar milk tea, Brown Sugar Milk Tea and Brown Sugar Matcha. This was one of the worst oolong milk teas I've ever had, in line with limered teahouse. I got it 25% sweet, 25% ice and the milk tea was more like slightly toasty water. If you come here, DO NOT get a milk tea, or maybe get it with 100% sweetness or the brown sugar because maybe that'll help add any semblance of flavor, don't expect a strong tea taste. The boba on the other hand was a great texture and chewy, would've loved to have more of it in the cup. My boyfriend has the strawberry, banana, mango smoothie and that was definitely much better. So I recommend getting a fruit tea or smoothie over a milk tea. It looks kinda sketch from the outside, but walking in, it was a clean and well organized and space. Breading was severely lacking on the pieces of meat, resulting in a lifeless crisp and crunch--if it can even be called that. Conversely, some pieces felt like just fried breading. I thought the milk tea would redeem it all when I tasted how flavorful it was on my first few sips (after thorough mixing). How wrong I was. I was soon hit with a one-two punch combo of dissatisfaction. The boba, while chewy, quickly turned flat after a few bites--not a deal-breaker necessarily but I had hoped it to be a bit more resistant (I'm aware it's easier said than done). Meanwhile, my milk tea started to taste like...water...after about halfway trying to finish it. Service/wait-time/cleanliness (1/2): I'm not sure if it's due to a lone-server-stress or not but service was quite rude-mannered. The tea drinks here are solid! I have not tried their protein shakes or fresh pressed juices but they seem to be popular as every time I come here other customers are ordering those. I especially like the aloe grapefruit tea. The passionfruit is good too. They put a generous amount of fresh fruit in their drinks. They also have good consistency boba and an adequate selection of other toppings. They can be a little slow to make drinks sometimes because there are only 2 people working there, so you may want to order ahead of time for pickup particularly if you have a large order. I have ordered boba from this shop in the past few months and they consistently never have my order ready on time. They only ever have one staff member working. I always order ahead of time on Grubhub for a specific pick up time and whenever I go in, the order is NEVER ready. I always end up waiting 15-20 extra minutes. The most recent incident that happened was when I placed an order for 7 boba drinks, again ahead of time to be picked up. I went in and was told it would be a 15 min wait. As I waited, single people would come in after me and order drinks as well. What really got me upset was that the worker proceeded to make their drinks and skip over my order repeatedly. In the end, I left 45 minutes later and extremely frustrated. Highly recommend if you do a group order, do not go at the pick up time you choose and go one hour later. I understand if there are staffing issues but if you can only have one person on staff, do not choose to have grubhub as one of your resources for customers. More variety than KungFu Tea and it's cheaper! They have quite a few smoothies, fruit juices, and boba with any kind of topping you'd like. They also have various shots of wheatgrass and other things if you're into that. I'd say they're a little more similar to ViVi Tea than KungFu, and their snack items are pretty solid if you enjoy Asian street food flavors. With that being said however, I can't say I'm a fan of their popcorn chicken.
