Really great flavor tea. I would recommend. The flavors were one of the best I've had and the boba texture was perfect

Mango yogurt with bubble

I needed dessert after eating down the street at rhe Japanese place. My daughter loves bubble tea, it was empty so we stopped in. I got the mango yogurt w/bubble..it hit the spot. The young man who's behind the counter has got the place super clean & can run it with his eyes closed. In a matter of minutes it went from just us 2 to a out 10 or 11 people. They also have a touch screen to place orders for more efficiency & less waiting. Nice spot while we walked around

I was blown away by how disappointing this drink was. We got the oreo taro milk drink (?). It looked pretty, but the taste was so so subpar. It was as if I poured myself a glass of milk and added chunks of oreo and taro in it that somehow had no flavor. There was no cohesiveness. I honestly think this may have been made incorrectly because there is no way anyone in good conscience could sell this drink for $10+. Since coming I've heard other drinks here are good though - just avoid the oreo taro I guess.

Came here on a Saturday evening for an after dinner treat and the place was pretty much empty. The space itself was super cute, well-lit, and had a few seats to enjoy drinks. Their menu was pretty long and had a good variety of drinks as well as some dessert so it took a bit to order, but they do have a tablet ordering area so you could browse at your leisure. We each got a drink and decided to share their mochi, all of which came out relatively quickly. The drink I chose didn't come with bubbles, something that wasn't clear when I ordered. A majority of the other milk teas came with tapioca so I was surprised when this one didn't, but that was probably a bit on me for not reading the ingredients clearly. It was a little disappointing, but the drink itself was relatively tasty and the tea was really fresh tasting. The mochi was not what I was expecting - definitely breadier than the mochi I'm used to. I found it a little too bland for my tastes, but it was subtly sweet and not bad for its price. We stayed for an hour and the place remained pretty quiet. The person working behind the counter also was willing to get us water when we needed it too which was nice. Overall, I enjoyed coming here and wouldn't mind coming by for bubble tea again in the future. Next time, I'll read the ingredients though!

Cold Ever Spring Green Milk Tea with coconut milk and brown sugar boba! / August 2022

I'm not often in this part of Brookline these days, but I'm so glad I discovered this new boba place while in the neighborhood. The Tall Man and I stopped by this ~6 month old shop right after it opened at noon to pick up some road trip refreshments. If we had had the time, we would've stopped to sit in this bright and inviting cafe, which has a couple tables and window counter seats. Being dairy free, I usually get a non-milk drink. But when I asked if they had vegan options (their usual milk is lactose-free, like most boba shops), they helpfully mentioned that they use coconut milk in one of their fruit drinks and could use it to make a vegan milk tea. Of COURSE I said yes! I got the ever spring green milk tea (an earthier cousin to jasmine tea) with brown sugar bubbles, half sugar, and less ice. The Tall Man got a signature black milk tea with regular milk, 75% sugar, and less ice. The drinks were made in good time, and we were soon out the door. The swirly appearance of the drinks was a little odd at first (looked like the syrupy sweetener had been swirled into the drink instead of shaken through like usual?), but with some mixing, we were happy customers. The boba had a really nice chewy-soft-yet-not-mushy texture, and tasty caramelized flavor. It was sweetened but didn't overwhelm our drinks. I also really enjoyed the taste of my earthier green tea and plan to order it again. (It might be similar or even the same as four seasons oolong at other shops, but I haven't looked too far into this.) Bookmarking The Shared Tea for another visit!

Peach yogurt with crystal bubble
Della S.

This seems to be a pretty decent bubble tea spot. I tried the peach yogurt with crystal bubble ($6.75). It was made from real yogurt rather than yakult and the peach part seemed to come from blended frozen white peaches. While different from what I was originally expecting, it tasted pretty good for what it was. There was a decent portion of crystal bubbles. My only complaint is that the drink was really hard to mix. I also got to try their soft french bread. Like advertised, the bread itself is not excessively sweetened. However, it just wasn't for me. I felt that the bread was straddling a medium between Western-style unsweetened bread and Asian-style soft sweet bread and my brain just couldn't figure out what I was eating. It was also kind of dry, but probably due to me trying it after 8pm close to their closing time.

Cute boba tea shop in Brookline. You can order at the kiosk or with the cashier. I ordered the mango sago drink which was refreshing but bordered on the sweet side for me. Drink came out fast and it was just one person working so I appreciate the diligence

Black Hot Brown Sugar Bubble Milk Tea

I loved this new boba place in Brookline! It's very close to the Brookline Village T stop and 66 bus stop, so super convenient. Let me just say the decor at The Shared Tea is so cute! The seating area was clean and the staff were super friendly. They finished my order within 3 minutes and the drink was pretty good! I ordered the medium brown sugar bubble milk tea with pearls, less ice and 30% sugar. It was $6.67, so just about average pricing compared to other boba places. The boba at The Shared Tea is very soft and chewy, I loved it! The milk tea wasn't so sweet, but overall, the drink was good. Overall rating: 9/10

Cold Matcha Latte with brown sugar bubble
Kaylyn Z.

This has got to be the best matcha latte I've ever had. The ratio of milk to matcha is perfect and 50% sweetness makes for the perfect drink. It is a small boba shop with cute seating inside. It definitely is marketed toward a younger audience. A casual place to grab a drink and chat with friends. The staff are all helpful and friendly. They happily fixed my drink one time it was made wrong due to hearing my order wrong. I always recommend this boba shop to my friends when they ask for a good place to go.

Cold Roasted Oolong Milk Tea

Stumbled upon this newer boba tea spot in Brookline Village. Got a cold medium roasted oolong milk tea with 30% sugar and less ice. I was slightly confused at first because it looked a lot like a brown sugar milk tea but the tea and boba tasted pretty good. The boba itself is a bit on the softer and sweeter side which I prefer. Some other places have a bit of a tougher and less sweet boba but this one was nice. Clean and nice atmosphere inside. Hoping they can keep it clean as time goes by.

Oreo cake cream

Pretty good spot for boba! This shop is cute and has limited seating. The cake cream and cheese foam teas are really where they shine, so I highly recommend trying those if you stop by!

Lychee tea with so much stuff! Beyond delicious!

Got the oolong milk tea with bubbles, the taste of the tea was good, but the boba was hard on the inside which didn't make it the greatest

The lines fortunately moved quickly and we were out of there in 20 min! The pastries are sooooo incredible you absolutely need to try. Our favorites were the Gruyère monkey pull apart bread (similar to the Gruyère croissant but a bit bigger) and we loved it so much we literally dug every piece out from the little cardboard bowl it comes in. A close second was their weekly special the Muhaamura feta croissant which was delectable-- I had never thought of putting Muhaamura in a croissant but damn does it work! It also went so well with the Gruyère it was truly a combo made in heaven. Both are also super light and won't make you feel super heavy after! We also got some sweet options including the chocolate chunk cookie and walnut morning bun which were super solid, but out of the sweet items the olive oil cake was our favorite. It is SUPER dense but truly the perfect dessert to have with tea in the afternoon-- I will definitely think about bringing this next time I'm visiting someone's house! It's not too sweet but flavored so well. Overall this place is soooo worth the wait--- definitely check it out!

I came here with 2 friends to work from home and we had a great time! I can attest it's a solid spot to WFH. Clearly a lot of people come here to WFH, but you can't blame them. The WiFi is free and we didn't experience any disruptions, there's great lighting in addition to the natural light from their floor to ceiling glass walls, and the music is so good here. They were playing all 2010s indie, pop, and alternative hits. We all loved it. I ordered a decaf iced latte with Carmel and it was delicious! A bit on the pricey side, but it is what it is. :) My friends got a sandwich and also tried their coffee and really liked it too. We will be back!
