Stumbled upon Yucoo after getting dinner down the street. There isn't a lot of seating, but the space is bright and open. The service was super friendly, and he even gave us samples of the tea to try. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area!

A nice addition near Oak Square in Brighton. I came here on a weekend afternoon with a friend and got the Yucoo milk tea that comes with boba. It wasn't listed on the machine, but the worker gave me a BOGO coupon as compensation. There are a couple of tables if you want to sit, but this is more of a take away place. It was a warm afternoon and this helped to cool off. This milk tea was a bit too milky for me and I couldn't really taste much tea, but the boba was soft and chewy. Overall, glad I was able to come check this boba place off my list and would recommend trying out their other drinks next time.

Yucoo has a smaller menu than other boba shops, but it still has the classics. The place is not that large but there is enough seating if you want to get boba and chat with a friend. I ordered the taro milk tea, mango smoothie, and Pu'er Milk Tea. The taro milk tea had a weird flavor to it. I did not like it too much. The mango smoothie was alright. The consistency was just right, and it had a light sweetness to it. The Pu'er Milk Tea tasted a bit weak. I prefer a stronger tea flavor for my drinks. The star of the show was the boba. The pearls were still warm and perfectly sweetened. Overall, the drinks were alright, but I do not feel like they are worth the price. I will come here again if I am craving boba and do not want to go into Allston.

I am giving 5 stars for the service alone and to support this small business. There are so many chains and franchises for bubble tea so it's nice to see a small independent shop entering the market. The drinks are made fresh and they're not afraid to experiment so it's a nice change from the usual shops. The two guys working there were very accommodating and went out of their way to correct a mistake made on our order. It's still new so they're working out the kinks and the seating / tables aren't quite ready yet but definitely stop in to try their milk tea. We tried the Pu'Er milk tea as well which has a bolder flavor for anyone feeling adventurous. My biggest recommendation would be to allow the customers to do less than 70% sugar and to marinate the Boba in honey or brown sugar for more flavor. We'll be back to try more but again, kudos to them for providing quality customer service.

This new spot is wonderful!! A must try, great menu of bubble tea. They offer a low sugar option and have authentic and delicious choices. Brighton is lucky to have this place!

My sister and I stumbled upon this incredible shop while walking around Oak Square in Brighton, and I mean incredible! We had the pleasure of trying the Yucoo milk tea with boba, and also the Pu'er (which was a bit floral as the man who helped us out described) and is one of my new favorites! The shop is family owned and they also make all of their teas (and they are delicious)! Thank you so much. Super friendly service. Great environment. Definitely a great place to relax and grab a super tasty drink. Can't wait to try what else they have!

High Quality boba tea. Highly recommend this bubble tea shop.

The space is a gorgeous venue right near the BPL courtyard. After the tea, we went and took photos in the courtyard, which was quite fun! Our servers were very prompt and helpful. There's a wide range of tea options, including matcha and chai. I don't know if they always allow this, but our servers let us switch teas throughout the service so we could try multiple. We took advantage of this and got to try two pots of tea each. The tower was also delightful, with scones, a selection of finger sandwiches, and an array of sweets. We went to our tea at 10am, so we actually were stuffed and had to take several of our desserts to go. At $72 per person, I feel that this is a pretty good price for a very nice tea, especially with the loveliness of the venue and the excellent service. I would definitely try to make a reservation several weeks in advance!

The space is bright and beautiful and as a vegan I was so excited that they have an entire vegan menu. I was definitely impressed, especially with the savory bites which were flavorful and well thought out. And of course you are surrounded by the gorgeous library, the perfect setting for a high tea. They even stored the sugar cubes for the tea in a fake book, so cute! Along with a pot of rooibos tea (perfect), I enjoyed this tower of vegan goodies: Amuse bouche: carrot cornet with whipped vegan goat cheese marscapone and parsley dust Savory: Truffle mushroom tart with truffle-infused cashew cream and roasted mushrooms (my favorite bite!) Cucumber sandwich with vegan dill cream cheese and affilla cress (another fave) Hummus with cucumber and tomato relish, za'atar vinaigrette, pita Roasted eggplant with roasted red peppers, arugula, pepita-arugula pesto Herbed tofu with red pepper romesco, smoked vegan provolone, and affilla cress Avocado toast with roasted tomato, everything bagel seasoning, sourdough Sweet: Lemon ginger scone with lemon curd (obsessed!) and mixed berry jam Layered strawberry shortcake (my fave of the sweet options) Belgian chocolate cake Tiramisu Pistachio and berry petit gateau Nat's berry cake I took most of the sweets to go and enjoyed them with another cup of tea this morning. I think several of them were raw vegan sweets from Nat's raw cakes which I enjoy but are less special the something made in-house (I believe the only vegan sweets made on the premises are the scones). While I do wish they had nicer dishware and teapots to complement the high tea experience, that would be a minor aesthetic improvement. Our server was friendly and buoyant and we had a great time. I highly recommend the tearoom for a special occasion!

My friend has a gluten allergy, and the staff was amazing about it. they created equivalent GF options for her and even brought out two separate platters to avoid any cross-contamination. I had a dietary restriction (gluten free) and we let them know a week in advanced. I tried calling them 4 days in advanced to make sure, no answer. Emailed 2 days just in case and there was also no answer. That was a bit disappointing. When ordering, they did not have prepared GF items and I had to change picked foods. Even with a week in advanced, little sad. The servers didn't know much about celiac and wanted to put everything on one plate, but I let them know we couldn't. The savory items were good and the sweets were alright, menu did not match online menu. Which is okay! Besides those issues, we really did have a fun time. You can never go wrong with tea and a friend! I would come back again in the spring and call again further than a week in advance or try a different location!

The tea selection was great with a variety of green, white, black, and non caffeinated teas--I went with the tropical green tea. The overall environment was a bit dark and cluttery, there were lots of items (teas, pots, cards, etc.) displayed near the dining area. There were a total of four tables (one large one and three small ones). I felt the placement of the tables seemed a bit tight, it was impossible to not hear other people's conversations, and I felt like I had to talk very softly with my friend to not disrupt anyone else. It seemed like this place also doubled as a tea store too. The food was decent. The sandwiches seemed fresh, but my favorites were probably the scones with the jam and homemade cream. I am a huge sweets person and was a bit disappointed with the desserts, some of it looked like they were picked up from a grocery store bakery. I sort of wished this place partnered with a local bakery for their dessert selections.

Went for mothers day…read more Tea: 2/6 people liked their tea. Mine reminded me of soap. It was something lavender. The berry one was a favorite, the green tea pomegranate was a full miss. Food (savory course): I told the server I was vegetarian. She told me that they would bring out extra vegetarian sandwiches, which they did not do. I was stuck there eating bread with a sliver of cucumber (too thin for a crunch) a thin swipe of cream cheese, and one to two flattened micro green sprouts in there. I was hungry and the other sandwiches looked great. Dessert 1 (scone course): Didnt recognize it. they gave us a dry lemon scone with a heck of a lot of icing on top. No cream, no butter, one factory processed jar of strawberry jam. Nothing to ease into the desserts. Dessert 2 (sweet course): All horribly sweet. Madeline was dry and had a hunk of chocolate or something on top. Not at all what I expect a Madeline to be (oven-fresh) and again too sweet. Petit fours: they somehow did this one well. Cream puff: winner. elderflower in this was excellent and it was light fluffy and fresh. Chocolate lumps: no one ate this. Macarons: too sweet. Almond one everyone but my dad hated. The purple one we thought was overly sweet without much flavor but was better than the almond. Chocolate ball with raspberry: intense flavor, pretty good, not sure what was up with the sprinkles. Honestly this is the second time I've been unimpressed, and after the staff fully disconnecting with the kitchen/customer I dont think I'll be back.
