A nice addition near Oak Square in Brighton. I came here on a weekend afternoon with a friend and got the Yucoo milk tea that comes with boba. It wasn't listed on the machine, but the worker gave me a BOGO coupon as compensation. There are a couple of tables if you want to sit, but this is more of a take away place. It was a warm afternoon and this helped to cool off. This milk tea was a bit too milky for me and I couldn't really taste much tea, but the boba was soft and chewy. Overall, glad I was able to come check this boba place off my list and would recommend trying out their other drinks next time.

Yucoo has a smaller menu than other boba shops, but it still has the classics. The place is not that large but there is enough seating if you want to get boba and chat with a friend. I ordered the taro milk tea, mango smoothie, and Pu'er Milk Tea. The taro milk tea had a weird flavor to it. I did not like it too much. The mango smoothie was alright. The consistency was just right, and it had a light sweetness to it. The Pu'er Milk Tea tasted a bit weak. I prefer a stronger tea flavor for my drinks. The star of the show was the boba. The pearls were still warm and perfectly sweetened. Overall, the drinks were alright, but I do not feel like they are worth the price. I will come here again if I am craving boba and do not want to go into Allston.

I am giving 5 stars for the service alone and to support this small business. There are so many chains and franchises for bubble tea so it's nice to see a small independent shop entering the market. The drinks are made fresh and they're not afraid to experiment so it's a nice change from the usual shops. The two guys working there were very accommodating and went out of their way to correct a mistake made on our order. It's still new so they're working out the kinks and the seating / tables aren't quite ready yet but definitely stop in to try their milk tea. We tried the Pu'Er milk tea as well which has a bolder flavor for anyone feeling adventurous. My biggest recommendation would be to allow the customers to do less than 70% sugar and to marinate the Boba in honey or brown sugar for more flavor. We'll be back to try more but again, kudos to them for providing quality customer service.

This new spot is wonderful!! A must try, great menu of bubble tea. They offer a low sugar option and have authentic and delicious choices. Brighton is lucky to have this place!

My sister and I stumbled upon this incredible shop while walking around Oak Square in Brighton, and I mean incredible! We had the pleasure of trying the Yucoo milk tea with boba, and also the Pu'er (which was a bit floral as the man who helped us out described) and is one of my new favorites! The shop is family owned and they also make all of their teas (and they are delicious)! Thank you so much. Super friendly service. Great environment. Definitely a great place to relax and grab a super tasty drink. Can't wait to try what else they have!

High Quality boba tea. Highly recommend this bubble tea shop.

They have a wonderful selection of teas to choose from and they have delicious menus of tea sandwiches, scones, and other treats. Everything is presented beautifully and every item we had was absolutely delicious. Another cool thing...you can mix and match items if you so please which most tea services do not allow. They have gluten free items as well and vegetarian options too. The service is lovely and the server we had is such a kind and lovely person. She offered to take pictures for people who were trying to do selfies of their entire table w/ friends/family. It was so nice to see. She was so excited for people having a great time and wanted to help them capture the fun w/ a nice photo. I will definitely be back and would love to try their other locations. I know they also offer a catering menu, and I would not hesitate to get an event catered from them. The food was perfectly presented and delicious to boot. So happy I cancelled my reservation at a more pricey place in the city after I read bad reviews about the pricey place and saw excellent reviews for The Vintage Tea & Cake Company. The excellent reviews were right and I'm so glad I took my mom to tea here.

I wound up getting up from our table to get our spoons, knives, and napkins from a stand I saw because we weren't being paid attention to. The food itself was pretty measly. Would never ever return. Very bad experience.

Unfortunately this one started off on the wrong foot and ~40 minutes late in favor of a private party with an earlier reservation. They let the person who made the reservation know 4 days before our event of the change needed from 1pm to 1:30pm when we planned this back in October. We communicated the extreme inconvenience as some people needed to leave by 2:30pm sharp as we planned activities after in our schedule. The Vintage Tea & Cake Arlington staff refused to let our group and others in until 1:40pm even though the owner Adel reassured that we would receive prompt service. We watched them clean up the baby shower at 1:30pm while we waited in the cold. One of the guests in our party popped in to check the status and was admonished to continue waiting. Once they allowed our aggrieved party in the staff were professional. As there are multiple locations, Adel was not on site for us to address the issues directly. We communicated the menus we would order including group dietary restrictions in hopes this would save time upon arrival. 30 min into the seating the staff did bring our complimentary champagne for us. It was a nice gesture but unfortunately half of the group does not drink and one member was under 21. The tea and food itself seemed consistent with the other locations I've tried. The tea pots we received were large and partly due to being rushed no one in our group finished our pot. Half the group also took to go boxes. We departed by 2:40 pm. The staff were friendly and took nice group photos. This particular experience in Arlington fell short from our expectations. I'd recommend building in more buffer if you need to accommodate private parties to turn over the tables for reservations. Other logistics to consider: - Location is downtown so immediately in front is street parking there's also a municipal parking lot around the corner - Avoid making plans in 1.5 hour window after as they may not be able to honor the original reservation conditions from our experience.

The tea selection was great with a variety of green, white, black, and non caffeinated teas--I went with the tropical green tea. The overall environment was a bit dark and cluttery, there were lots of items (teas, pots, cards, etc.) displayed near the dining area. There were a total of four tables (one large one and three small ones). I felt the placement of the tables seemed a bit tight, it was impossible to not hear other people's conversations, and I felt like I had to talk very softly with my friend to not disrupt anyone else. It seemed like this place also doubled as a tea store too. The food was decent. The sandwiches seemed fresh, but my favorites were probably the scones with the jam and homemade cream. I am a huge sweets person and was a bit disappointed with the desserts, some of it looked like they were picked up from a grocery store bakery. Went for mothers day…read more Tea: 2/6 people liked their tea. Mine reminded me of soap. It was something lavender. The berry one was a favorite, the green tea pomegranate was a full miss. Food (savory course): I told the server I was vegetarian. She told me that they would bring out extra vegetarian sandwiches, which they did not do. I was stuck there eating bread with a sliver of cucumber (too thin for a crunch) a thin swipe of cream cheese, and one to two flattened micro green sprouts in there. I was hungry and the other sandwiches looked great. Dessert 1 (scone course): Didnt recognize it. they gave us a dry lemon scone with a heck of a lot of icing on top. No cream, no butter, one factory processed jar of strawberry jam. Nothing to ease into the desserts. Dessert 2 (sweet course): All horribly sweet. Madeline was dry and had a hunk of chocolate or something on top. Not at all what I expect a Madeline to be (oven-fresh) and again too sweet. Petit fours: they somehow did this one well. Cream puff: winner. elderflower in this was excellent and it was light fluffy and fresh. Chocolate lumps: no one ate this. Macarons: too sweet. Almond one everyone but my dad hated. The purple one we thought was overly sweet without much flavor but was better than the almond. Chocolate ball with raspberry: intense flavor, pretty good, not sure what was up with the sprinkles. Honestly this is the second time I've been unimpressed, and after the staff fully disconnecting with the kitchen/customer I dont think I'll be back.
