It's definitely overpriced, though that's kind of expected for a health-focused spot in Chestnut Hill. The portions were generous, and we were pleasantly surprised by the flavor. We both agreed the food was good--but nothing you couldn't get at places like Cava or Sweetgreen for a fraction of the price. That said, if you're looking for decent food with chill, calm vibes to take your girly friends, this is a good option. However, I definitely don't recommend the matcha. Tucked in at the mall in Chestnut Hill, this is an unassuming health bar. Lovely little patio, overall quiet ambience. Disclaimer: We went there after a hike at the nearby park on a Sunday after hours, so all shops were closed. The mall was very quiet, so I don't have a good sense of how this place is during rush hour. Healthy wraps and food, fresh juice, and breakfast all day! Portions are very generous; I took half the wrap with me. And the dessert menu is a must-have! Right this moment at 1:11 on Tuesday April 14th there are no less than 10 people waiting for food for 40+ minutes. One woman ordered online and waited an hour only to get a warm smoothly and soggy wrap. I ordered online and can see my warm smoothly but so far no sandwich. The food is good and the people are nice but I can't come back because what I explained above is the rule not the exception. Writing this after four experiences of the same kind. Bummer. The pineapple colada is sooo delicious! It feels tropical and healthy at the same time. I have also tried the power toast with peanut butter which was pretty good, and the PB bombs (protein balls) that were good. Came here for the first time today and enjoyed it! Nice menu, lots of options. Bowls, salads, toast, wraps, açaí, etc. They have customizable stuffed sweet potato's on the menu that are super fun and unique. The food comes very fast. I really liked the harvest salad. The food is expensive but they give large portions. I also liked the power ball's-great snack. My grandma really enjoys their chocolate chip cookie and was raving about how good it was. Adorable little new spot in Chestnut hill. They have a location in the North End so i was excited to try it! I got an iron man green juice which was delicious and so refreshing. I've tried Pink Carrot in Chestnut Hill twice. I'd give it 4 stars for food quality and choices, and 2 stars for value. They do not accept cash. I strongly dislike this practice and not even sure it's legal. First visit I had the vegan Caesar salad. Picture is included here. It was very good, all the ingredients were tasty and fresh, nice dressing. I really appreciate that they have vegan options. That said, the price is outrageous. I can get a larger salad at Sweetgreen that is just as good for a lot less. Second visit I had the tuna wrap. No pic because they did not cut it in half, so it just looked like a burrito. The tuna wrap is interesting. It has quinoa and avocado etc in the wrap with the tuna. I like that, but some of the quinoa was undercooked and crunchy, not what you expect. The tuna is decent, I am very picky, but it's pretty good. I'd get it on a salad, but not for the price they charge. The wrap was $14, not insanely expensive, but given that it comes with nothing....I'd go to Pressed and get a wrap with a side choice (chips, apple, pasta salad, potato salad, small garden or caesar salad) for $13, that's a good deal! I looked at the salad menu and if I wanted a salad with tuna added it would be over $21, ridiculous. I am surprised they don't offer plant-based cream cheese with their bagels since they have several vegan menu items. I emailed them to inquire and they said "We don't have enough requests to stock it" My response to that is - if it's not on the menu, why would people request it? If they had it on the menu, people would probably request it! The place is cute, the people are nice, the service is fast, the food is good, but it's overpriced and they don't accept cash. I was hoping it would be a new regular spot, but sadly it's too pricey for what you get. read more

I have never waited longer for a bagel with cream cheese in my entire life. My wife is 40 weeks pregnant and I thought she was going to have the baby before we got our breakfast. Very pricey for what you get. Ordered the "Power Toast" with almond butter ($11 plus extra $1 to sub almond butter for peanut butter). I received a large piece of thin toast with a smear of almond butter, thinly sliced bananas, honey and a sprinkle of chia seeds. The toast was served in a giant bowl as one slice. Taste was good but presentation leaves much to be desired. Put it on a plate, slice it, add a garnish of sliced apples or carrots. Voila. The new pink carrot in chestnut hill is adorable and the staff are friendly. I've only tried one salad so will have to go back and try some additional items. I had the kale and Brussels sprouts salad, pretty standard, recipe was everywhere a few years ago. Chopped kale and Brussels with sliced almonds and some dressing. Definitely shocked by the price, $14 +$6 for chicken =$20. We've now entered prices higher than Cava, sweetgreen and Dig. And not better. I've heard from others that the sweet potatoes are great so will need to try. read more

First time there and they billed me twice ... but the smoothie and bagel special were both amazing. After a few emails, the bill was corrected. So we decided to go back. A month later, it was a disaster. I asked if they had chive cream cheese and was told yes, while I saw her key in plain cream cheese, so no chive. I asked for sesame bagel and while she nodded as if to say they had it, she responded, "So, an everything bagel?" I said, no and was given a choice: plain or everything bagel. I chose plain. I asked for half and half in the coffee and she told me they don't have it. OK fine, whole milk it is. I was ready to pay cash, but they don't accept cash. OK. fine, a charge card it is. I got the coffee and then I waited and I waited and I waited. I finally asked about the plain bagel with the plain cream cheese and was told, it's coming up now. A few minutes later it arrived. Not good. It was tossed after two bites. Lesson learned. I'm sure this is a great spot for a healthy lunch or smoothie break ... but in the morning, the customer service is not good and they don't seem to care ... perhaps that works for their regular clientele, but I won't be back. read more
