    London fog
    Victoria C.

A small modern cafe on the 2nd floor of the chestnut Hill Mall. I came on labor day to catch up with a friend and the place had a steady flow of people coming in and out. There's a few small tables to sit and enjoy a drink and a sweet treat if you'd like or just quickly grab your drink to go. They also have an online order option if you're in a rush to get errands done. I ordered a London fog and a mini chocolate croffle. The London fog is more on the milky side and has plenty of sweetness from the vanilla. They mixed up my croffle order, so I ended up getting to try both chocolate and vanilla mini croffle. It's a perfect sweet treat that pairs well with any drink. The crisp waffle has a solid crunch, while the pasty cream adds the sweetness. They also do physical stamp cards which is so nice to see and not having to worry about another digital rewards app to keep track of things. Overall, a nice place to stop if you're looking for a quick bite as they also have savory food options as well.

Food: Is this a cafe or a restaurant? The answer is yes! The food is affordable, and there are snacks and decent sized portions of sweet too. But the flavor of a simple grilled cheese is elevated with shredded chicken, bacon, and ranch in a delicious warm bundle of yumminess and a side of chips Highly recommend! I also had their Hibiscus Passion Tea off their seasonal menu, and it's a light yummy iced tea with a hint of the floral taste not too sweet. Service: As it was our first time, we took a moment to order because we'll everything sounded so delicious (and we were right). The staff was kind and helpful. Ambiance: Piano music playing and good amount of seating this is a good spot to come grab a bite or a drink but a bit loud as comes with being in a mall for folks who don't like noise I enjoyed the vibes and music, and decor, so it worked for me. I can't wait to come back for a signature Croffle!

This shop inside the chestnut hill mall is very cute! The staff was so friendly and even offered me some help making my decision on what to order. I saw a couple people getting coffee and of course the infamous waffles and they looked delicious. Unfortunately I was there for a more of a meal so i ordered a grilled cheese and was pretty disappointed. I wouldn't order that again but I still had a great experience there and want to go back to try the drinks and pastry. I will hopefully return and adjust my review!

Most delicious croffle I have ever had. Matcha latte and coffee were great as well. The Chicken grilled cheese was just so good. The service was fast and they are super friendly staff. It's got comfortable tables and a homie feel. Hands down 5/5 way better then a Starbucks or other coffee shops I have been to.

Tasteful coffeeshop with hidden gem dessert on the menu. We swung by before some shopping, and got the Butterscotch latte (great iced and espresso was delish), as well as the Guatemala pour over, which was incredibly smooth. The best yet was the dessert, dark chocolate caramel croffle (croissant waffle) with two scoops of vanilla ice cream. Service was excellent, first time being asked how the coffee is at a coffee shop, we will definitely be back.

Glazed Bytes is a small, stylish, and cute cafe tucked away inside the mall. My friend and I ordered the cloud foam latte (iced), brown sugar latte (hot), Nutella croffle, and pepperoni croffle. The cloud foam latte was simply amazing. The foam was so creamy and smooth while the slight caramel drizzle perfectly complemented it. The coffee was divine. I loved how the drink tastes sweet but does not overwhelm the fragrant taste of coffee. I thought this was one of the best coffees I have had as the blend of flavors balanced out so well! The brown sugar latte was not as impressive mainly because the brown sugar flavor sunk down on the bottom. I loved this place so much that I came back to try their pistachio latte (hot) and found that amazing as well. You can taste the pistachio flavoring, which does not overwhelm the coffee. It was a very soothing drink on a cold day. The Nutella croffle was lackluster. The texture was fine, but it was not very impactful. The ice cream that came with it was not bad but way too frozen, so it was hard trying to spoon it out to eat. I really enjoyed the pepperoni croffle, though. It was flavorful and yummy. The portions are not too big but decent for a nice snack to enjoy with your drinks. The service was also very nice. They brought the food to my table and called out our names to pick up the drinks on the side of the counter. I really enjoyed the nice and quaint ambiance of the cafe and would love to come back more often!

My friend recommended me this cafe to try out because he knew I missed the croffles from Korea when I was studying abroad. After returning from Korea, I haven't found a place that makes croffles the same until I came here. I got the cinnamon Caramel Croffle with icecream and avocado chipotle grilled cheese! For drinks, I got an Americano, cloud foam latte, and mango passion fruit yogurt. The cloud foam was my favorite! This place is great for catch up with friends or studying if you like a little bit of background noise. I will definitely be returning.

First time getting a coffee here in the mall (Chestnut Hill Shops). Iced latte was perfect and delicious. I'll be back.

Passion Fruit Green Tea. Make sure to mix it because the syrup settles at the bottom.

Nice ambiance. But couldn't even get a basic latte right, and the craffle things are overpriced, taste frozen and reheated.

Their coffee options are incredible (so many options!) and I always gravitate toward their breakfast sandwich. It's on this big, poofy ciabattino roll with egg, cheese, and arugula, and it is so satisfyingly rich but not too, too heavy. (You can add meat, too, although I think it's good as is.) Their Vietnamese cold brew is a must-try. I know some reviewers didn't love it, but for me, it's pure bike fuel: Cafe du Monde cold brew with condensed milk...and that color gradient! Oh, it's gorgeous. They don't mix it in advance, so every sip is a swirl from brown to creamy white. On a holiday (Juneteenth), I even biked over to grab the breakfast taco for my coworkers who had to be at work for a bit, and they raved about it too. It's always buzzing, especially on weekends, but now that it's good weather out, they recently added outdoor seating. What a fun, local, charming coffee spot, and honestly, I think it's the best one in Brighton.

It's an artsy, natural environment that feels like a total sanctuary if you need to put your head down and get some work done or just chill with a cup of tea. While you're waiting for your drink, they have this really lovely community wall that's so sweet to read through. You can genuinely feel the sense of community in there, which makes the whole place feel super welcoming. However, I'd probably skip the Vietnamese coffee next time. It didn't quite hit the mark for authenticity; the condensed milk felt a bit watered down and the coffee itself wasn't nearly concentrated enough to give it that signature kick. It's a beautiful place to sit and relax, and I'd totally go back to try something else on the menu, but the Viet coffee was a bit of a letdown. Go for the peace and quiet and the heartwarming community vibes, but maybe pivot to a different drink!

Arriving around 11-12 on a Saturday, my friends and I reserved a table at In House Cafe and received quick and efficient service from kind and informative servers. It's nice to note that the uniforms are also adorable and punchy. The food itself was absolutely phenomenal and my friends and I, despite ordering a VAST array of delicious items from pizza to pancakes, all agreed that the food was delicious and well worth the trip! The apple Cinnamon Pancakes were nearly to die for, warm and delicious, the batter seemed homemade, and honestly gets a solid 10/10. The same goes for my drink of choice, the iced caramel latte with oat milk. The bacon and eggs were as you'd expect and well executed. The Shakshuka was good and smelled amazing, but my only note would be that an addition of salt or a slight edge to the dish would bring it over the top- My friend who initially ordered the dish says that an addition of Feta cheese will do the trick, as she ordered a side of it to go on top. For my personal taste it was a 7.5/10. The pizza was a great serving size for 1-2 people in one sitting, or could easily be stretched out into multiple meals if needed. The fresh tasting vegetables brought the dish together, and the meal was happily enjoyed. and a pro tip; if you have leftovers i'd recommend reheating in an air-fryer for perfect crispy crust 9/10 The chocolate strawberry latte exceeded my expectations, as I am not a usual fan of chocolate strawberries, but this drink was a very pleasant surprise. It wasn't overly sweet or artificially flavored, and I couldn't help but ask my friend for a few sips throughout the meal. The bathrooms were VERY clean and VERY well maintained, and the restaurant is just a very quick walk away from the bus stop. Accessible by car but parking may be hard to find, so be aware if you choose to go by car. I would go back to boston soley for those pancakes! ONE thing I will note is that for three people our order came out to a bit over $100. You can feel free to interpret that as you so choose. I will say I was somewhat surprised, but NOT regretful! I'd still go back for the pancakes ‍

The service is always spot on, even when they get busy during the weekend brunch rush. (You should count on needing a reservation at those times.) Of course, none of that would matter if the food wasn't also excellent! We always order banana caramel pecan french toast for the group to share. The french toast on its own is custardy and delicious (unlike some places that just feel like dry bread), but the roasted bananas along with the buttery caramel and pecans take it to the next level. The fries are also the platonic ideal of a french fry that always surprise us: crispy, not greasy, and well seasoned, while still having a fluffy center. I often get the shakshuka or the aleppo-style eggs for my main, which are both delicious, veggie-forward, and filling. But the hidden gem is the oatmeal, which is packed with fruit, perfectly cooked, and creamy as can be. Since the food is halal, there are no pork products, and as a lover of regular bacon, I can say with confidence the beef bacon will surprise you with how similar it is! My vegetarian friends also love the variety of the options, and the meat eaters are always satisfied.
