The bread was warm and fluffy and the frosting was creamy and nicely sweetened but not overly sweet. I was a fan. The french toast was eggy and the bread was soft. The Italian sausage stole the show for me. It was sweet, fragrant, and you could taste the chunks of meat and fat. The fennel flavor was warming. I had an extra side of their sausages. The home fries were good. The steak in the steak and eggs was well seasoned. It did taste A1-y. It was cooked to medium rare as per my request. I was a fan of the steak chunks. I will return. You should give them a visit.

A great little diner on North Beacon Street right next to Kimura Jiujitsu. I came on Sunday during…read morelunch time and we were able to grab a couple seats at the bar. There are also a few booths for larger parties. They have your general breakfast diner food, sandwiches, to daily specials to choose from. I opted for one of their daily specials the wake and bake which was a sandwich filled with hash brown, bacon, and eggs with a side of home fries. I also got a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice which was super refreshing. The sandwich was amazing and I would absolutely get it again if it was on the menu. The home fries were okay, but not the best that I've had. The service was great and very efficient. Overall, a great place to catch up and grab a bite to eat.

The signage is weak. The only sign is a decal on the window. I drove past it a couple of times…read morebefore I found it. Don't blink or you will miss it. I don't know how they get any traffic with the sign they have. It was cold inside. Time to turn on the heat. The Spot has a counter in back with a few bakery items. There were eight tables in front. The walls were filled with eclectic items. They have a woman that waits on the tables, provides menu and serves. She spends all her time behind the counter rather than waiting on tables. I ordered a Sara's omelette that includes three vegetables and 3 eggs. I chose spinach, mushroom and broccoli. I had fruit cup of melon, pineapple, cantaloupe and strawberries in lieu of toast and hash browns. The omelet was very good with lots of veggies inside. The fruit cup was on the small size but it beats additional carbs. I had to wait for my bill. I think they forgot about me. I finally had to get up and ask for bill. I would have to try again before I would pass judgement.

Finally visited this cute neighborhood "Spot" with my husband…read more We were surprised when we entered, the inside looks larger and cozier than we expected. It wasn't too busy - there are 6ish tables and one server was waiting tables. She was very warm and friendly. I ordered two eggs over easy and my husband got an omelet. The food was decent, and prices are so affordable. However the potatoes were very bland and hard, and portion was small. Also they had forgotten the potatoes in my order although it comes with the meal but I mentioned it and it was corrected. We also ordered the Belgian waffle to share which definitely isn't "Belgian" style but it was good! Overall decent, I'd come again just for the cozy, warm vibe. I'm interested in trying their lunch menu next!

I was in town visiting family, and stumbled onto this really cute old fashioned railroad style…read morediner! They have a free parking lot but there is also street parking available. Cash only! Items are on the pricier side. They mainly serve breakfast and lunch items. We opted for breakfast: -- House Special Omelet $18: was meh. The omelet was ok, and came with toast of your choice, and a generous portion of home fries. I'd order something else next time. -- Corned Beef Hash Benedict $18: this was great! Very satisfying and recommended! This also came with a very generous side of home fries. -- Side of bacon $4/3 strips: we asked for extra crispy bacon and that's exactly what we got. Sooo good! -- Coffee $3: decent coffee with free refills. Great customer service. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Recommended!!

Since switching ownership, we have eaten here twice and both times left disappointed. The first time we ordered Irish eggs Benedict and the hash was not cooked correctly and had raw onions in it. WHO PUTS RAWS ONIONS IN HASH?!? The second time we had eggs, sausage and home fries and my buddy ordered the same. 5 hours later... food poisoning. Pretty sure it was the undercooked sausage. It's a bummer to see this place go downhill. It's super cute but just not worth it anymore!

This place has lots of seasonal fun and creative menu items…read more Good: They play Christmas movies during Christmas time. I really enjoy that. I wish they did that for other holidays. The decorations are very festive. They lean into over the top. This makes it a great place for kids and adults that appreciate quirky things. The staff are very nice and friendly. The way they lean into over the top theming can make this feel more like a quirky restaurant in New York then something on moody st. I would love to see more character in Massachusetts restaurants and In a pickle is leading by example. Bad: The TVs with with America's funny home videos can be a little much. The home fries have way too much salt.

Sofia was wonderful as I ordered the mushroom burger but with the smash patties 2 4 oz patties vs regular one 8 oz. Came with fries. Wednesday is Wicked Wing Wednesday where if you order a burger or a beer you get 6 piece wings complimentary! What a deal. The burger wasn't seasoned as well as I would have thought and was quite bland, had to add ketchup to help it out. The fries seemed like maybe the oil isn't hot enough as they were clumped together and were very soft in the middle (length wise, not the center of the fry) I only ate the smaller extra crispy ones. If they all had been crispy it would have been great. Got the garlic parmesan wings and those were good. Took them to go. Service was on point and the decor was a simple diner feel. No frills with a mixture of booths and tables
