Came back again with friends and enjoyed my omelette a lot! The loukaniko sausage was super yummy and the service was as good as ever. Still cash only with tax already accounted for!

    Busy behind the counter.

The cash register is from the 1940's..... so what! It works. If you are looking for a diner, look no further, you have found it. This place bustles with activity and the reasons for that are deliciousness! A word of caution and insight for chocolate lovers..... you can order EXTRA chocolate chips on your chocolate chip and banana pancakes (so sinfully good). Now if you like Nutella, order the Nutella French Toast. Oh my they are way above expectation. The place is a gem. Do not miss it. The atmosphere is rowdy and fun.

This establishment only accepts cash. The service and ambiance are good. I had the Wilson's special. I will say that the food isn't bad. It's just alright. Basically, nothing to write to home about. Nothing stands out. I also don't think this meal was worth $17 i.e. not a good bang for your buck.

Cash only! The diner is super cute and very clean/maintained inside. I visited at the end of the summer and they had the doors open, didn't have AC. It was a little warm but not terrible. The staff is friendly, food came out quickly and came out quickly. There is a little parking area with a few spaces next to the diner. Otherwise there is street parking.

It's the worst service I've ever received and saying it from my experience as a waitress... we didn't know they closed at 2 in the afternoon we arrived at 1:20 pm, they didn't even let us see the menu when we sat down (it was our first time)... When the waitress approached the table 2 seconds after we sat down, she said that we could eat but that they closed at 2.... I think that instead of rushing new customers they should better close at 1:30 or inform before sitting down. Too rude and a fatal experience

If you want a classic diner experience, this as best as you can get. Located on Main Street in Waltham, a small trailer with lots of bar seating and a few booths. 50s themed which is cool. In all honesty, it's not the cleanest, but that's as expected. The food is decent, I liked the ham and cheese omelette. Coffee was so-so.

Yes another diner from the king. I was informed that the booths fill up with multiple people so I sat at the counter. The owner greeted me at the door. The cook came over and reviewed the menu with me. How is that for service? I ending up getting a couple poached eggs and fruit cup. The fruit cup was delicious. It had fresh blueberries, strawberries and banana. I am trying to stay away from the carbs. No toast or hash browns for me. I was sitting at the counter when there was an ordered decaf coffee. The waitress made a cup of decaf using instant coffee. I could not believe it. So much for a fresh brewed cup of coffee. I had to knock down the rating down from 5 stars to four because of this. I would return for breakfast. I just would not order decaf.

Quick, delicious, friendly. Great ambience. Classic old school diner experience that's very hard to find today.

    Homemade corn muffin. Tasty!

I visited this MA diner due to the great reviews. I am so glad I listened to yelp. Nice sized lot for the busy part of town. The staff was VERY friendly that I wished I lived closer. The retro vibe was so inviting. Food was tasty. The corn muffins were fresh. They were so good that I took one to go. I'll be back

Our favorite place to sit is at the counter because it's incredible to watch them work so perfectly together. We have a great time every time we're here. My #1 tip: always get a grilled muffin. Tip #2: ask for the home fries well done. You can't go wrong with anything here! I'm a sucker for an omelet but today I spotted someone get a club sandwich and I will absolutely need to try that. The service is impeccable. They are cash only but I'm pretty sure they have an ATM in the corner! A must visit.

Wilson's Diner is an amazing establishment! There isn't dedicated parking so you'll have to find street parking so it may be a challenge to find something good. The staff are extremely busy, but they do not forget about you! The team works together so well I couldn't tell you who was our actual server. Truly a phenomenal staff and you can tell they really care about working with excellence. The food felt homemade and they had some unique choices on their menu which is large menu! I ordered the Eggs Benedict & Texas Crunch French Toast, both were delicious & wonderful. The restaurant feels like an old diner, and is clean and well kept. They have an old cash register that is so cool to see in action. Overall I would highly recommend give this space a visit!

The decorations are very festive. They lean into over the top. This makes it a great place for kids and adults that appreciate quirky things. The staff are very nice and friendly. The way they lean into over the top theming can make this feel more like a quirky restaurant in New York then something on moody st. I would love to see more character in Massachusetts restaurants and In a pickle is leading by example. Bad: The TVs with with America's funny home videos can be a little much. Sofia was wonderful as I ordered the mushroom burger but with the smash patties 2 4 oz patties vs regular one 8 oz. Came with fries. Wednesday is Wicked Wing Wednesday where if you order a burger or a beer you get 6 piece wings complimentary! What a deal. The burger wasn't seasoned as well as I would have thought and was quite bland, had to add ketchup to help it out. The fries seemed like maybe the oil isn't hot enough as they were clumped together and were very soft in the middle (length wise, not the center of the fry) I only ate the smaller extra crispy ones. If they all had been crispy it would have been great. Got the garlic parmesan wings and those were good. Took them to go. Service was on point and the decor was a simple diner feel. No frills with a mixture of booths and tables

The bread was warm and fluffy and the frosting was creamy and nicely sweetened but not overly sweet. I was a fan. The french toast was eggy and the bread was soft. The home fries were good. The steak in the steak and eggs was well seasoned. It did taste A1-y. It was cooked to medium rare as per my request. I was a fan of the steak chunks. I will return.
