Good craft beer selection
Rick C.

Great location for a pre-dinner drink or to watch sports (5 TVs on both sides of the bar). Great craft beer selection with ca. 10+ IPAs on tap. Prices are reasonable, and the service behind the bar was attentive but not interrupting. My tip: I visited on a cold night and sat on the window-side facing side of the bar. I'd recommend sitting on the other side of the bar as you get a blast of cold air when people enter or exit the patio door.

This is the second stop on my Eat the Distance tour! Great outdoor seating though umbrellas inappropriately placed to provide shade where guests are seated. Nearly unacceptably slow service, everything from the drinks to the edible items were served tepid, seafood was not the freshest but the short ribs was [sic.] cooked properly. Ambience was pleasant enough, overlooking a busy parking lot helped to cultivate perspective. The lowest quality dining experience I've 'enjoyed' for quite a number of years. Breathtaking really. Not recommended.

The hostess when we first walked in did not greet us. Instead stared at me and my daughter. Since she was yelling and I scolded her. Another older lady came next to her and greet us then walked us back to our seat. Our waiter was nice and attentive. The food was ok. I got the steak and cheese egg rolls which was good. My husband got steak and it was bland and now cooked right. My friend got shrimp scampi which was recommended and the shrimp was hard, over cooked and the noodles had no taste. She got a lavender cocktail and it wasn't made right so they took it off the bill. The waiter was very nice enough to recommend some Of his favorites but my friend was not interested. The kids pizza was huge!!! We was able to eat from it and was very good! The bathrooms were clean and stocked.

Don't really know why this place has TWO different listings on Yelp in the same city in nearly the same place with two different street addresses at the time of writing this review. But I'm just gonna talk about the one Yelp allowed me to check into upon this visit. Now, I'm pretty familiar with Winter street. Considering I frequently visit the likes of Ruth's Chris and Jimmy John's. That said, I was quite surprised at how easy this place was to spot, despite being located on a corner smack dab next to the interstate. It also probably helps that it's conveniently attached to a hotel. Not a very extravagant one either. So, you can imagine my surprise at the execution of the menu. On this day, I went full seafood mode and ordered the clam chowder and some fish n' chips. I kid you not when I tell you this clam chowder is possibly the best I've had in the area since Providence. Creamy, brilliantly seasoned with fresh bacon bits, plenty of clams, potato and veggies, this soup was a solid 10 out of 10 for me. I only needed to add minimal additional seasoning, if any. No complaints here! Totally getting a bowl next time. The fish n' chips were...different from what I expected. It seems that almost every other place I visit here goes with the beer battered style breading. But this place uses more of a 4C style breading. It's not bad, actually! Gives the fish a crispiness that's quite refreshing. Even the fries were Grade A. Though the fish portion was a bit small compared to the mountain of fries they gave, I'd call this one a 9 out of 10. Oh, a coworker of mine also let me sample some fried veggie dumplings he ordered (forgot to mention this was a work luncheon). Let me tell you...these things were seasoned to the nines! I was seriously impressed! They reminded me of the Yaki-Mandu I used to have during the time I spent in Korea. But, I digress. Point is....these things are good as hell and I recommend everyone try them. Solid 10 out of 10. I definitely want to return to this place because there are actually a number of other dishes I wanna try; particularly the shrimp scampi. I'm a bit disappointed there aren't more photographs for this place. Guess it'll be up to yours truly to change all that. The Copper House Tavern is worthy of 5 perfectly brewed cups of New England clam chowder out of 5.

Nice pub restaurant. Can be noisy at times, but good food and good service outweigh the buzz.

We were seated in a high top across from the bar. Our server, Hannah, was pleasant and cordial. My wife ordered the southwestern salad and I ordered a burger with a $2 upgrade to make the tater tots "garlic". Her salad comes and is much smaller than expected for $18. My burger came and I ordered it medium rare and it was well done. I sent it back to be refired to the proper temp and while I waited I ate the tater tots. I expected a $2 upcharge to be at least fresh garlic but it was garlic powder. On top of that, when I finished the tots(before the second burger) there was a pool of oil at the bottom of the basket plus 2 pools that leaked onto the table. The refired burger came back via a food runner, not a manager, and this burger was also not medium rare but I was hungry so I ate it. When we let Hannah know about the out l oil she explained that they regularly are cleaning up oil and not to worry about it. I'll be going to the Muffin House down the road from now on. You should also.

I ordered the butter scotch-vanilla infused Woodward old fashioned. My husband ordered a regular one. I did taste something different but I hadn't actually seen her put the vanilla woodford or butterscotch in the drink. So I kindly asked, she told me yes and I kept drinking it. My husband and I moved to the smaller table by the window and about 10 minutes later I hear the main bartender complaining that I even asked about the butterscotch. He said he was so powerful and was completely annoyed. I honestly was shocked because I didn't return the drink or even push it any further. It was obvious that he doesn't like his job and maybe needs to try and different industry. He's given a male Karen and hospitality isn't it. I attached a picture for reference.

This review is based on experiences at the restaurant's bar, not food at the restaurant itself…read more Let's start by saying the drink prices are the highest that I have ever encountered... ANYWHERE. $26.75 for a barely two ounce pour of McCallan whisky beats even the prices at five star restaurants in most major cities. Lessor whisky's were equally priced high. Too complicate things, when our party opted to not pay outrageous prices, we decided to try cocktails, which were on average $18.00 apiece. Let's just say that this bar used cheap liquor and that the bartenders were just winging it. Nothing tasted as it should have, particularly at those prices. It's unfortunate that this Westin Hotel, which by the way, is a very fine hotel with impeccable service and staff, has this bar concession. It's the only negative thing about the Westin.
