I enjoyed dinning here for lunch with a friend. We sat on their outdoor patio. Plenty of shade from table umbrellas. The service was wonderful and the food delicious. So many options on the menu I had a hard time deciding. Pescatore (seafood) risotto was delicious though and I would recommend it. I'll definitely return. read more

Brelundi is a delightful restaurant inside the old Waltham Watch Factory building. As a result the room is warm and cozy with brick and dark colors. There are even watch making machines as decorations. The food was very good, with very large portions. The highlight was the delightful staff. If you dine here, try to make time to check out the small but excellent Waltham Watch museum down at the 221 entrance. It is just one room but it was fascinating. read more

I went for the dessert which several people called "the best dessert I've ever had." I was not disappointed. I had the Iris which was as good as they say but really very rich for one person so--you might want to split this one. (And I am not a lightweight.) My dining companions had spaghetti and meatballs and a cheese pizza. So like the most basic food of all time. However, they both said that it was particularly good--the pizza eater said mutiple times in a tone of suprise--"this is a REALLY good pizza." They split the tiramisu and loved it. I tried it although I'm not usually a tiramisu lover. I did love this one. We agreed that the tiramisu was spectacular. There are a lot of things I'd like to try here. And I'd like to do it in the good weather so I can eat it on the porch. I did stop by for a cannoli today. I'm a little cannoli diva and often disappointed. NOW THIS is a cannoli. All the stars for Brelundi. read more

Good good great service great value for your money would definitely go back red sauce amazing and arancini delicious

Affordable place for quick pizza bites in the area. We ordered cheese pizza, vegetable pizza without sausage, meatball side dish and large cannolis as a desert. Cheese pizza was pretty good, it tasted like a classic American cheese pizza. On the other hand, vegetable pizza was pretty bad. The dough was super wet and soggy, and the seasoning was blend. Meatball side dish was composed of three large meatballs and marinara sauce was delicious as well. Cannoli was good, it was large as we expected and filling was fresh and heavy. Would I come back? Probably not, maybe for cheese pizza but I will keep my search through the area to find better pizza shop. read more

Relaxed chill place that is kid friendly. I considered it to be a quick cafe lunch spot, can easily find something for everyone (pizzas/sandwiches) . Nothing fancy and very nice to eat in the summer spring time since it's near the water. It's across from the playground/splash pad so you can walk over after with kids or get a quick snack if you like. read more

Been here several times and it's been consistently fantastic each and every time. Food is fresh, the portions are generous, and I suspect that they even make their own desserts. There is a defninite effort by this establishment to produce good quality dishes at a reasonable price and that is not easy to find anymore. read more

Great food! Our server, Alayna, was wonderful. She took care of us and a roomful of other diners.

First of all, the portions are enormous, so if you're thinking app/salad/entree/dessert, think again. The food was terrific, and the service cheerful and quick. Good cocktails, low prices, and charming ambiance. I definitely purely recommend Brelundi in the watch factory. read more

We had a late lunch over the weekend. The dishes were not bad, and the service was friendly and generous. However, the $37 for the Pescatore seemed overpriced, especially considering it was made with frozen seafood; we could find a fresher seafood dish at other restaurants. The antipasto Brelundi was good, except for the fried dough, which was too oily. Overall, we had a relaxing and enjoyable lunch! read more

Food very good get Samantha as your server . She's on point and nice . She even made a mistake and fixed it quickly.

I checked this place out on a Wednesday night before I was going to hang with friends in the attached apartment building. I knew that a friend or two was going to join me at the restaurant, but didn't know when. The staff was very accommodating in letting me hang at a table for two alone for a while and then switching me to a table for 4 when 2 other friends showed up. They came over with a bread basket right away. It had a mix of bread, bread sticks, etc. I poured myself some olive oil with a little salt and pepper and went to town. I ordered a lemon drop martini to drink and it was delightful. Not too sweet or sour and only $10.50! For my entree, I was considering a basic spaghetti and meatball dish, but then asked the waitress how the lasagna was. She said it was amazing, so I went with that. She wasn't kidding. I got a huge portion of perfectly cooked, cheesy, meat-saucy lasagna. It was so delicious. Probably the best lasagna I've had in a while. The portion was so big, that I had a sizable piece left over for lunch the next day (and it was just as yummy reheated). Of course, the guy at my table was like "I don't want to spend money on food. I'll order two of these cocktails though!". Lol. He ordered 2 The Godfather drinks (bourbon & disaronno) and they were boooozy! And good. No judgement for his choices. My other friend didn't drink, but got the chicken parm panini. It was a large sandwich and she also was able to take half home. She said that she liked it, but wished there was more sauce. Unfortunately, my friend is moving away from the building, so I won't have a "reason" to come back to this area. BUT, if I do happen to be in the area, I would totally come back for the great food & service and the good, reasonably priced drinks! read more

The pizza is delicious, authentic and affordable. I went to Italy last summer and the pizza at Brelundi is better than at the places I ate at over there (granted, I didn't go anywhere famous in Italy!). Friendly, high-quality service is provided by staff as well. read more

I am Italian and this is absolutely my favorite local italian Restaurant! Try ARANCINI and you won't be disappointed! My girlfriend and I found this place craving Italian food. She's Italian so she's very picky about the restaurants. Personally, I'm just grateful to eat As soon as you enter this place, it has a very cozy feel to it. There's an indoor and outdoor seating. Service was exceptional and quick which is always a huge plus but I personally can wait as long as the food comes out fresh. My girlfriend ordered RISOTTO PESCATORE (PAN SEARED SCALLOPS, SHRIMP, OCTOPUS, MUSSELS IN A PINK CLAM STOCK RISOTTO) and I ordered SCALLOPS CON PESTO (SAUTEED SCALLOPS WITH MUSHROOMS TOSSED WITH TAGLIATELLE PASTA & PESTO) for entrée. Here is what I can tell you, I don't really ever forget to take pictures but I did. The food was absolutely incredible. My girlfriend who is very particular with Italian food wants to come here everyday. For dessert, we ordered Iris. I never order dessert, not a huge fan of sweet stuff but it looked so good... I had to order it. Probably the best dessert I've had!!! Im looking forward to go back to this place!!! I love everything about it!!! read more

Did like their breakfast meals! Like that they have Arancini rice balls. Service was good.

Great tasting authentic Italian food. Very homey and my goodness such a large portion. I had a special of the day entree as it seemed to combine a lot of the ingredients I enjoy. Chicken breast, pan fried; eggplant, thin layers breaded and fried; lots of Italian cheese; layers of steamed spinach; dried red peppers; with a creamy sauce; served on fetaccuoni!!! A look at the picture is pretty telling. I was not able to finish the very generous portion. But really enjoyed it. The server was very attentive and the place was rather empty for Wed night. Although, I remember being here a few other timed and there was no empty seats available. Bottom line a great Italian Restaurant with plenty to offer. read more

Absolutely my favorite coffee shop/ cafe ever! The location is beautiful, perched near the Charles River. This has got to be the absolute best spot to bring your wife/girlfriend/ significant other. There's something about the outdoor seating area that screams romantic! Well done to the exterior designers on this part. The cappuccinos are spot on and I'm a big fan of the breakfast pizza. You can get that with prosciutto, sausage, or vegetables. It was light and crispy, just the way this Italian American likes it! I will be back. Thanks for the enjoyable experience. read more

We were meeting our friends and came across reviews of this Italian restaurant. We were a party of 7 and made reservations over the phone. From the time I talked to someone on the phone to the moment we stepped out, I experienced stellar customer service. They knew that we were wanting an earlier reservation so they called us back when they had a cancellation and fit us in for 6:30. Away from Moody Street this place is set in a beautiful location and they even have their own parking lot which is a huge plus! But wait... they were busy and had only two servers. We braced ourselves for a long wait. I couldn't be more impressed with how diligently they were helping so many customers. The speed and precision with which I saw our server make and bring our drinks was a thing to watch. I just felt so bad to see how hard they were working. But they didn't let it show. Their demeanor was so pleasant and courteous. Even before were able to finish our drinks they brought our food out - all at once. Nobody had to wait. That is a sign of great management. Kudos to the kitchen staff. The food, was delicious. My vegetable risotto was cooked to al-dente perfection with a generous helping of vegetables. Everyone on our table was happy and satisfied. You made our night special. We will definitely be back and will be singing praises of this gem of a restaurant to all our friends. read more

We had dinner there yesterday. It was terrible. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the decor was good and clean. However the food was a disaster. It was poorly cooked and badly spiced. Happy to be introduced to a great restaurant in Waltham with parking! We were greeted warmly and had wonderful service. There were so many things we wanted to try that we will definitely be going back. We had salads, but there are many choices of paninis, pizzas, calzones and entrees like eggplant parm and fish. They can also make most items gluten-free. Looking forward to our next visit! read more

We expected a great Italian meal since it had 4.5 stars. My friend's Black Russian was awful and had coffee liquor instead of Kahlua. He sent it back for credit. The Caesar Salad had anchovies with skins still on them, that were disgusting. My friend had Chicken Parmigiana and told me that the sauce was awful. I had Chicken Berlundi which had onions that were raw, marsala sauce and pasta. The dish had no taste and was very bland! I should have sent it back!! This was the worst Italian food that I have ever had in the Boston area. read more

There margharita pizza is deliocious. I highly recommend it. Nice atmosphere too. Lovely.

We looked forward to eating on the patio. The prices are very high for mediocre quality. Three fingers of a house wine was $14. One of our dinners had to be sent back to the kitchen. The marinara sauce which is used a lot - for dipping or on most dishes was bland -Rao's is better. Overall a very disappointing, expensive meal. read more
