    Matcha Latte

Nice cafe vibes with lots of natural light. The matcha latte was on the bitter side, even when sweetened. And oat milk costing an extra $1.25 was a little overkill imo. But overall solid.

The tiramisu matcha is pretty good. Not too sweet and matcha is blended well. They open early so perfect to grab breakfast coffee.

Let's talk about their drinks first which we all thought was pretty good. We liked the coffee drinks the most. We would definitely order the drinks again. The sandwiches were a bit underwhelming. They aren't bad but they weren't anything special. The quantity was really not as I expected. The tuna salad was only a smudge onto the bread. As we all know tuna salad usually is not a spread. :) The other sandwiches were fine but nothing spending 15 minutes at home couldn't make. We spent 30 minutes waiting for it and that was after ordering online. The last thing was the cake which we had high hope for. They were really not good. Maybe we came on a bad day and it wasn't fresh. I tasted a refrigerator taste in the cream which was mostly what comprised of the cake slice. There was one extremely thin layer of cake and the rest was cream thus there was no difference buying the guava or yuzu cuz u can't taste any of it. You only taste cream. Would I go again? Yes but just for the drinks. Definitely not for anything else.

Good iced oat latte. Good size cup and well blended. Lots of seating. Excellent AC. Clean and bathroom available. Good WiFi. Great coffee shop.

Classy caffe playing classical music. Clean and modern fixtures. Relaxing atmosphere. Had a smoothie which I'm confident had fresh fruit and the most delicious bacon and cheese breakfast sandwich. Probably one of the best I've ever had. Not sure if it was on a sweeter bread or had honey on it or what but was the perfect "sweet and salty" and very fresh. A little pricey but worth it for the quality. Highly recommended and will be back!

Wonderful little gem on Moody street. Had an Early Grey latte and croissant. Lovely sitting area, clean and great service.

Cute coffee spot with good vibes. We ordered iced matcha latte, iced lavender coffee, and matcha tiramisu, and all were good and had good flavors. Would definitely come back again.

    What I actually got.

What a joke! It took at least 15 mins to prepare my avocado toast, and when I got it, it was nothing like it was pictured on the menu. There were no spices or Hokkaido cream (whatever that is) as described, eggs were overcooked and not runny as pictured, and it came as a sandwich rather than open faced with greens on the side. I took it back to the counter and showed them the website photo and description. The person seemed to care less, and said photos can be different on the website. I asked for a refund as I hadn't even touched it and didn't plan to. He said he'd have to get in touch with someone to see if a refund was possible, and that I might have to wait 5-10 minutes for a response. I didn't want to stay any longer and I left my phone number for them to contact me. It's been over an hour and I haven't heard anything. I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company. This is a sorry excuse for a business. Do yourself a favor and skip it! I left and went to Tatte instead.

An extra 1.25 for oat milk? So my small latte went from 4.95 to $6.20! Seems excessive . . . But the macaroon was truly delicious!

Excellent ham egg and cheese sandwich. A little bit of a wait, but well worth it. I'll go back

What a great vibe! Great service, wonderful selection of teas and smoothies. Music being played was perfect for the room.

Marble tables with mismatched chairs and beat up old leather sofas. Chandeliers that have to harken back to much older tenants in this space. The food is good, I had a ham egg and cheese on croissant and it was wonderful. The croissant was surprisingly fresh. The cappuccino was rounded and smooth and didn't taste at all burnt. Service was ok. Polite but not engaging, my cappuccino was forgotten entirely and I had to ask for it again but it was then made promptly. Regulars that came in behind me had a completely different experience. Service was bright and engaging for them. Again, there was nothing BAD about my service, it was just milquetoast and the baristas seemed disinterested. This is definitely a place where people come and linger and there were folks sprawled about the sofas and typing away at the tables. If I lived in Waltham, I's probably make it a staple in my routine. But I did not linger long, I ate my sandwich, sipped half my coffee and took the rest on my way. I have a feeling this is the kind of place that just grows on you overtime, that said, if you need a coffee or tea and a snack on your way, this may be worth a stop.

Just as I said last time--you'd have to be a real Scrooge not to give this place high marks. If you have a little gem like this in your town, you should support it. Also.
