Build Your Own Egg Sandwich, Iced Mocha, Mocha, Ginger Turmeric Latte
    Salma S.

I loved my brunch at Solid Ground Cafe. I built my own egg sandwich, and it was amazing. I loved how there were so many options to choose from - it makes it customizable and each person can enjoy their own experience. The portion was generous, and it was very well priced. I also ordered the turmeric ginger latte, and I was blown away - it was so unique and delicious. The place is very small, but has a cute and cozy vibe. The service is incredible - the servers were all so friendly and sweet, and they really added to the positive experience. I really enjoyed my brunch here - I'd recommend for a quick, casual, well priced and yummy breakfast!

Outstanding baked goods including biscuits and scones! Basic counter service. Few seats and tiny tables. Very popular spot. Drip coffee was decent. Lots of smart people LOL....

A very cute local coffee shop in Brigham circle! I got a hot vanilla latte to go and was very satisfied with it. Seating indoors is pretty limited so most people took their food/drinks to go. Their breakfast sandwiches and bagels looked very tasty so I'll definitely be back to try those.

" Solid Ground Cafe is so welcoming, delicious, fresh coffee and pastries ". This place is a whole vibe . Think peace love and earthy . The vibe is the best. I really feel so welcomed and appreciated here . The coffee is good and pastries as well . If you can get here early it's better , it's so good they run out fast . It's a small little cafe with lots of love . Nice plants and big windows that offer lots of natural light. Parking is difficult but manageable.

Items ordered: Cortado and Bibingka pastry Value: Prices are reasonable! Coffee was $4 and the pastry was $3. The Review: A self-proclaimed coffee shop frequenter, I have never seen a place like Solid Ground. They have a unique set of food offerings in addition to standard espresso drinks. It is a down-to-Earth local joint and also a hip spot to get locally roasted brews. The pastry was gluten-free and wrapped in a banana leaf, which was pretty special. The staff are very kind, and they have a "pay it forward" program--customers pay for food and drinks ahead of time, and the local community in need can stop by for a free coffee or a sandwich. Great vibes at Solid Ground, 5/5.

Was in the area for work and wanted a quick breakfast. Everyone is so nice here. Got an egg sandwich on sourdough with impossible sausage and tomato jam - delicious! Iced latte was also great. There are just a few tables so plan accordingly if wanting to dine in! They also have a cool pay it forward program.

Solid Ground Cafe, located in a unassuming location on the main street flanked by multiple other restaurants, has a small entryway that was easy to miss my team went here for breakfast. Inside the café, they serve a variety of breakfast sandwiches and other sandwiches, as well as delicious seasonal lattes and the most incredible pastries. Their ginger molasses cookie keeps bringing me back more- it has a chewy consistency and a large size that keeps me nibbling at it throughout the day at a fair price of $2.50. The rock solid was so good it brought me back another day. I keep wanting to try their other cookie flavors including chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin, but their ginger molasses is that good. They have a solid matcha latte as well, but their turmeric ginger is pretty subtle. I got it with whole milk so your mileage may vary if you get it undiluted. They have a cute pay it forward system, where you can buy drinks and sandwiches for other folks. The only downside I can see is that they never notified me when my online order was ready to pick up, which resulted in my food sitting out on the counter for over an hour and possibly cause of my stomach ache after eating my build my own cream cheese and ham bagel sandwich. They have a very cozy location with maybe three tables max so don't plan to work here for long at busier hours. The window is filled with cute succulents and other coffee themed decor, completing the hipster coffee look of the entire place. Service here is friendly and quick unless they're all busy making orders, in which case plan to wait a few minutes.

I recently stopped by this Mission Hill neighborhood coffee shop after a doctor's visit nearby. It was super delicious. I had an iced raspberry white mocha with oat milk and a Lucia special sandwhich. The sandwich was made with spicy tomato jam and cheddar cheese on pressed sourdough bread. Prices were very reasonable and the staff was very friendly.

This coffee shop is for people who like dunkin and Starbucks. It's cute inside, looks like every other local coffee shop, but the drinks and food are not artisanal, small batch, or unique. The sandwich was like a bland Starbucks sandwich with added mayonnaise. I ordered a chai latte and it was very sweet and tastes mostly like cinnamon. If you're a coffee/tea snob like me I'd try somewhere else. If you want a simple cup of coffee with sugar this is the place for you.

Great place for a quick bagel sandwich and a matcha latte. Service was nice and fast and the food was solid for the price. The inside of the cafe is very cute and is a nice place for a quick meal or a chat with friends. Looking forward to returning soon!

I finally made it to Solid Ground and tried a couple of treats. I enjoyed the London Fog scone (Huge & I didn't think it was too sweet even with the frosting), and I really loved the mini coconut bibingka. This gluten free, dairy free muffin had a dense texture and was barely sweet. It's a very small space, so seating can be hard. I also got the jasmine Mem tea & my husband had a small americano (2 shots of Speedwell) . You can build your own egg sandwiched, but note to vegetarians that the bacon and eggs are on a shared space with a shared spatula. I love the pay it forward option too.

Stopped by here for breakfast. Husband and I got build your own egg sandwiches. While the option to customize your breakfast was good, the avocado spread didn't taste so fresh and the bread the sandwich was on seemed just like sliced bread out of a plastic bag. I also had wish the menu had explicitly stated eggs would be poached. Coffee was smooth, and decaf lattes were possible thankfully. Ambiance was fun; I enjoyed seeing the local artists' work while I waited. I also appreciated the energizing music. Would not be opposed to coming back, but would not order the same thing again.
