Really enjoyed this place! Their Gruyère croissant was delicious especially with their cappuccino, and their chocolate as well. What a cozy place for a morning coffee and pastry.

Really amazing and delectable chocolates (of course!). I personally love the drinking chocolate, which you can get as dark, milk, or white chocolate. They also have a spiced one that I haven't tried but have heard is pretty good. They also have non-dairy milks (oat milk and almond milk) available that can be added to the drinks. I personally love the dark drinking chocolate with oat milk. It's so smooth and creamy! They have so many different types of chocolates in the cases and some prepackaged to make an easy gift! They have a lot of variety, as well as some other coffee beverages and bakery items. Would highly recommend! The service is great, very friendly and helpful. The inside feels like Disneyland - a step into some magical, happy place. There is a decent amount of indoor seating, but it's also a great location if you want to walk around Coolidge Corner. This place is a go to for fall and winter to find some cozy peace and a little sweet treat for some joy!

Cute vibe, fresh and tasty pastries but I say it's pricey. I think the cakes are worth it.

I got an Americano and mocha cake. They were both delicious in flavor as well as appearance. I'll definitely be back!

Located at the corner of beacon Street near Coolidge corner, another great location for LA Burdick. I came on a busy Saturday afternoon to meet up with a couple of friends. It was very busy and difficult to get a table. There's a few small tables in the front and a few small booths in the back. The tables are fixed to the ground so you can only move chairs around. I got a small white chocolate hot chocolate and the gyurere croissant. Both were great as the hot chocolate was very rich while the croissant was cheesy and flaky. I'd definitely come here again to try out their other hot chocolates or check out other locations. Overall, a great sweet midday treat for the weekend.

Some of the chocolates inside...the mice were so cute!

Stopped in for some hot chocolate to warm up from the drizzly Boston day and it was the perfect treat! The store inside is welcoming and set up well...all of the chocolates looked so beautiful and tempting. The chocolate mice were so cute too! We opted for the single origin hot chocolate of the day and it was fantastic. It is very thick and rich so we chased each sip with a sip of water but it did hit the spot. Got a lovely boxed chocolate to go as well. Thank you for the treat, L.A. Burdick!

A whole store dedicated to chocolate! It's hard to find a dark chocolate hot chocolate but Burdick had one and it was fabulous! Their cakes all looked very delicious and options were plentiful. We tried one of the lemon chocolate cakes and hot chocolates. Very creamy and tasty drinks and a perfect pair with the lemon cake. Will 100% be back!

Outstanding hot chocolate, intensely flavored and thick, as if they melted a chocolate bar for you to drink. Several varieties available, including milk, dark or white chocolate with or without coffee to make it a mocha, plus a spicy dark chocolate and a rotating single sourced chocolate from various equatorial countries. Friendly service. Just enough seating to get the job done. Oh, and a respectable chocolate chip cookie that ranks fairly high on my list: thick and rippled with chocolate closer to fudge, and a solid base too, with walnuts adding to the experience. Worth a look and worth trying all the flavors.

I still remember when Boston only had one store, and was really excited to check out this new location in Brookline. The space is much larger and roomie are feeling. They have all of the classic chocolates, the signature hot chocolates, as well as a very complete pastry selection. It's a perfect place for a quick afternoon tea and pick me up with friends. They use mariage de freres tea and of course the hot chocolate is amazing!

I've been to this LA Burdick twice and had decent experiences both times. The first visit was on a weekend it was busy, so we had to wait for a table. I ordered a pastry(torte) and a green tea. The second time was on a weekday, and it was much quieter with plenty of seating. I ordered the same thing again. No complaints about the things I had, but not memorable. You can find similar stuff at plenty of other places. The parking was easy both times as there is a lot of meters nearby.

The chocolate was really good same with the hot chocolate. I would come again and suggest that you try it.

Beautiful space! Perfect place to go for some good chocolate and coffee or hot chocolate in the winter! Must try if you haven't had their chocolate before, all handmade and sooooooo delicious and cute. Their bakery is amazing too! I inhaled a big box of chocolate that was supposed to be a gift, can't help myself lol. So glad they came to Brookline!!! Talked to their owner on their opening day, they use the best quality of everything, and you can certainly taste it! I'm not sure why some ppl are complaining about the price, I've been a long time customer and their price and portion haven't moved that much at all compared to other chocolate shop and inflation. And most import they kept the quality consistent, I'm even worried they don't make much money!! My favorite chocolate shop ever!!

Always come and buy some chocolate!…read more Milk Chocolate Mouse, Dark Chocolate Mouse: The most classic products. They had a thin string on the back to mimic a tail, which also helps keep your hands clean--a fun and thoughtful design. The cocoa and milk flavors were pure and rich, with a smooth and silky texture. I personally didn't find it too sweet. My friends who tasted it also raved about it. Pavé Glacé: The best of the bunch. Made in the same way as nama chocolate生チョコ--frozen chocolate ganache, but this one had a fine layer of cocoa powder, making it denser and more solid. It melted in mouth and starts to linger, with a more distinct flavor profile from bitter to sweet to fragrant. Sesame Truffe: Two pieces in one serving was perfect. A thin layer of light cocoa powder on the surface, the shell was so crisp that it crumbled in mouth, and the flowing filling with nutty and caramel flavors immediately spills out. However, I didn't taste much sesame; it's closer to hazelnut, the classic chocolate flavor, and a bit on the sweeter side.

They feature lots of Swiss treats and there's something everyone would like. I ordered a milk chocolate hot chocolate and my friend got a dark chocolate. The drinks are rich and super smooth. I always need a little water which luckily they have a pitcher with little cups. We then split two treats, the Engadiner Nusstorte and Cherry Tart. Both were delicious, and they complimented the drinks nicely, especially the Cherry adding that contrasting tartness to a sweet beverage. The gentleman working was also nice he cut the treats in half for us to split. I was shocked how busy it was, at most points there wasn't a free table inside, as people come here to chat and enjoy. It was the perfect place to meet a friend and I'd come back for sure.

There's tables mostly for smaller groups, but they easily accommodated us and another large group. I ordered the fig prosciutto panini, which was admittedly smaller than what I was expecting but delicious for breakfast. Coffee saved me from my early morning flight too-- effective and tasty. I think my only knock was that I'd have hoped my particular dish was a bit more generous in portioning, but given a look at the other things my friends ordered, this looks like it's not necessarily the norm across dishes. Great quick bite-- parking is pretty easy on this street in the morning too, so I'd recommend!

So I did but took me a while. While waiting an Asian woman showed up and they took her order at the register, didnt tell her to use the kiosk. Apparently the kiosk is for non asians cuz they kept telling the non asians to use it while taking orders from the asian customers at the register area. This led me to not going back for a very long time. Recently I ended up here with another friend and its been awhile but wow iits dirty inside. They have a standing oscillating fan near the display donuts that have alot of dust build up in chunks.. The counters where you can get napkins ect, completely dirty, parts of the floor dirty. just dirty. The Donut displays are literally falling apart as pieces of the display donuts have fallen off, They should fix that. The donuts were alright, a doughy fried doe, a bit chewy and the tops we got Ube and Yuzu flavor but they were pretty lacking in flavor, was hoping for a lot more. Im not sure why ppl go here exactly, to each their own but it feels like they are being supported by the Asian community just because they are one of the only korean donut stores to exist not because they have great donuts.

The chicken itself was pretty juicy and crispy, but it tended to be more on the drier side for my personal taste. As for other options, like the fish sandwich and the sausage, they were pretty ordinary to me - and a smidgen overpriced for what they were. Anyway, though the chicken was good, me and the wife experienced a moderate amount of stomach discomfort that we'd like to attribute to this visit - given how this was the only spot we went to for food (and how it was more or less the only meal we had that day). So... hesitant to go back, but might give this joint another chance... just not in the near future.

Oatmeal raisin is never the choice when chocolate chip is around, but Levain's oatmeal raisin is incredible. The more it sat, the more I was able to taste it. And the mocha they use doesn't seem to be very chocolatey which I'm not a fan of. It's more on the bland side. Maybe it would be better iced but since it's cold outside I wanted something hot. The girl who took my order and made my latte was very nice and very kind. She had a really good vibe coming off her which I love. Five stars for her! So the mocha gets 3 stars, the girl who helped me gets five stars. I may get a cookie to go but haven't decided if I wanna spend $5.75 plus tax on a cookie. The mocha was $5.25 plus tax alone. And the cookies really aren't as big as people say they are. They do look good but I'm not sure if I wanna spend that much on a single cookie. Maybe I'll come back another day. Edit to say I did go back for a cookie. I got the dark chocolate peanut butter chip. The same girl helped me and this wonderful sweet girl gave me an extra cookie. Forget the five stars, she gets infinite stars. I hardly ever have people be that nice to me and she deserves all the recognition and thanks. Been in Boston for literally two hours and I'm already having the best day!!
