Cute all-day cafe with range of food and drink options but primarily breakfast and brunch-oriented. Staff were super friendly and welcoming and prices were very reasonable (I can't remember the last time I paid less than $4 for a breakfast sandwich!). Food-wise, they make a solid, basic breakfast sandwich but the pancakes, croffles and other baked goods are the standouts. The chocolate chip pancakes were excellent - sweet without being too cloying and delightfully fluffy!
This was our first time coming here, and upon entering both the waiter and waitress were very friendly, attentive and gave great recommendations. There were a lot of options for food and it was hard to decide! They have everything from Shakshuka to their "croffle"! ( croffle- croissant waffle with different toppings) We shared a Nutella and hazelnut croffle, and had omelets. The croffle was incredible- very decadent- and the omelets were very generous with their portions and had toast and home fried potatoes! It's a small spot, but doesn't feel crowded at all overall great experience and would come back!
The cutest little cafe I've ever been too! I found this on Yelp and was ready to try after seeing the menu. On a Sunday morning , once checked in we got seated within 5 mins ( lucky us ). Once seated in this little cafe, our server immediately greeted us and got our drink order. I had to flip a coin as all the coffees sounded amazing. I went with a hot caramel macchiato and probably the best I've ever had and I'm a coffee junky 10/10. Then the food - holy wow ! The tables around us had me drooling and then our food came and it was so good! Portion was huge and we left so full. The western omelette was HUGE and came with a side of home fries and your choice of bread. I decided on sour dough which was very good. Strawberry pancakes looked like the viral fluffy pancakes and covered in sweet strawberries. If I lived here, I'd come every Sunday ! I loved the ambiance, the tiny space and the food and coffee . 10/10

The space is also pretty tight -- they've definitely maximized seating -- so it feels cramped when it's busy. Service had that subtle "we need this table back" energy. Not outright rushing, but you can feel the turnover pace. Food-wise, the specialties looked massive, so we ordered less of those and opted for sides instead... which somehow ended up being even more food than we expected. Portions are generous. Everything was good and solid, nothing mind-blowing, but I appreciated that it wasn't greasy. The hashbrowns were a standout -- more reminiscent of a Jewish potato latke than your typical diner hashbrown, and absolutely worth ordering. Overall: great coffee, solid breakfast, big portions. Come early, eat efficiently, and you'll enjoy it.

Food was 10/10! A few items prepared in ways we haven't tried and items that feel exclusive to the cafe. Drinks were great, was a busy rainy day but my party of 4 was seated in under 10 minutes, staff was solid, straight to the point with ordering and accommodations, loved the size of the space and art on the walls, felt like a little hole in the wall joint. Also.....absolutely get the shashuka!

Pictured here is the **Drop the Egg**, which was delicious--definitely on the spicier side if you enjoy a bit of heat. I also ordered the **Western Omelette**, which was hearty and very satisfying, perfect if you're looking for something more filling.
This is a casual food spot that is a popular brunch spot. Even on a weekday, it gets quite crowded here. The staff were nice to us and allowed us to move to a table once someone left but this place is seriously small that I would say a party of 2 ppl is the max I would be comfortable with here. I got a hash brown sandwich and it is everything you can ask for in a carb heavy brunch item. Although it is mostly savory, it was a nice touch of sweetness in the sauce and bread that breaks up the saltiness. Drinks wise, both my friend and I were not a fan. They were pretty basic with nothing special about them and could've done without them. Matcha latte was super sweet and is not made with great matcha.
This place is really good! I think the people who own it are Korean, but the food is all pretty typical American fare. It's good! The eggs Benedict was perfect and the combo of English muffin and Canadian bacon was perfect. The service was nice too. The citronnade was really perfect for a hot day. My partner enjoyed his caprese sandwich a lot. The food was overall simple but well done!
This place is so cute! So tiny but full of flavor. Everything seems to be made with so much patience. The best part were the pancakes and the drinks. We ordered the omelettes, and they were good but the eggs might it been a bit too well for our tasting, and the potatoes a bit too crispy. The service was slow, but it was worth it once the food came out. read more

Came with friends for breakfast. I'm from out of town, but my friends are the regulars, so they were bantering with the waiter. Folks are very friendly and helpful here! There's tables mostly for smaller groups, but they easily accommodated us and another large group. I ordered the fig prosciutto panini, which was admittedly smaller than what I was expecting but delicious for breakfast. Coffee saved me from my early morning flight too-- effective and tasty. I think my only knock was that I'd have hoped my particular dish was a bit more generous in portioning, but given a look at the other things my friends ordered, this looks like it's not necessarily the norm across dishes. Great quick bite-- parking is pretty easy on this street in the morning too, so I'd recommend! read more

I was looking for Brunch restaurants in Boston and came across Cafe Weekend. Me and my fiancé got lucky to get a table for 2 within 2 minutes. This cafe is small but nicely decorated. From the drink to the food, everything looked good. I ordered the Pink Lemonade, Strawberry Pancakes, Home Fries and Bacon. 10/10 on everything. The fresh Strawberries on the Pancakes were delicious. If we lived here, we would come every week! read more

What a cute spot! Wow! This past Sunday myself and 2 friends decided to get some brunch. We arrived around 11 am to see a group of 15 or so people waiting around outside. I popped in and adding us to the waitlist through the kiosk. There were 17 parties ahead of us and it took about 40 minutes to get a text that we were ready to be seated. The inside is decorated well given the small size. What it lacks in space it makes up for in vibes, however! The menu was perfectly extensive, large but not TOO large. Sometimes diner menus can be a bit overwhelming and this wasn't the case. My crew struggled between the sweet and savory route so ended up going with both, duh. We split an order of the soufflé style nutella and banana pancakes for $16. They were thick, crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside. The bananas were ripe and sweet. There was the perfect amount of nutella and powdered sugar. 12/10. 6 stars. I then got the avocado toast with a poached egg. Typically avocado toast is not worth the price, which was $14 in this case, but Cafe Weekend knows how to give you your money's worth. The slice of toast was practically the size of the plate and there had to have been 2 avocados on there in terms of the spread. The arugula parmasean side salad was a great touch. My poached egg was cooked to perfection, although I wish I had a second given the size of the toast. Now I know! I would wait 40 minutes any day to eat here! Worth every minute/penny. read more

This cafe is unlike any other I've been to--open from early in the morning to late at night, they serve up a variety of dishes and drinks perfect for any time of day. Not to mention, their popular breakfast menu is served all night long!! Pancakes for dinner? Yes please! As a college student, this spot has been on my radar for a long time for obvious reasons. Although I tried to go for breakfast once and they were absolutely packed, finally getting the chance to go for dinner was lovely! The vibes at night are chill and calming as can be, so you can enjoy a focused and relaxing comfort meal ranging from pastas to burgers and all filled with a korean inspired spin on classic favorites. Additionally, the service is incredibly warm and accommodating, really making you feel right at home. While their dinner was great (I genuinely have no complaints about the flavors or quality at all), at the same time, it didn't blow me completely away. The burger had a unique sweet kbbq sauce that was amazing, and the toowoomba pasta was a special blend of tasty alfredo with a spicy twist. However, I will say, everything sat very heavy in my stomach, so this is definitely a dinner to share or one to enjoy when you're really feeling hungry. Needless to say, I thoroughly enjoyed the overall dining experience here which was unlike any other. For the atmosphere alone, I'm already planning to come back, and of course it helps that their food is as crave-worthy as it is. Overall, if you're curious about the dinner I'd certainly give it a try (you won't be disappointed), but my plan is to come for breakfast or lunch next time because I'm going to guess (since it's what their known for) that it's even better! read more

I love exploring new brunch places as it's my favorite meal of the day! There's a bit of a wait over the weekend but not too bad. The place itself is small and the bathroom is located in the downstairs basement (be careful of going down the stairs). Weekend Special - pretty standard Savory Bomb on the bagel - too creamy, very heavy Blueberry Pancakes - pancakes were soggy Weekend Latte - standard iced coffee I regret not ordering the shakshuka, however I can't justify driving into this neighborhood just to wait in line for weekend brunch. read more

Lovely brunch spot in good old Allston! It's small diner place but fits tons of people - and table turns fast like Korean style! The service was attentive and fast, understand that it is super busy but they will try their best to serve you :) When we visited during busy Saturday noon, we put our name into kisok thing and got notification that our seats were ready in about 5 mins! We ordered - Egg and cheese sandwich: sponge bread with fries egg and cheddar cheese, yum - Pancakes (original): soufflé style, also delish - Blueberrry and cream cheese croffle: good but wish cream cheese was melty, we might try nutella one next time! We ordered a sandwich plate, the shakshuka, and a croque madame. drinks were a couple the weekend latte. sandwich was served with house potato. The bun on the sandwich listened with generous servings of butter. The potatoes were fried to crispy the house sauce was tasty. the shakshuka, as someone else mentioned, is a dish from canned goods. The flavor is there, the freshness is not present, and that makes a huge difference on the overall plate. the croque madame is a typical ham and cheese sandwich with a sunny side up egg on top. the weekend latte was rich and creamy, the coffee in it was strong. overall it's a good place. the food is cooked right. the service is friendly. looking to try the pancakes on the next visit. read more
Best breakfast spot--they really do make every day feel like a weekend. We went on a Tuesday before heading to the airport and after reading the reviews. The cafe was small and homey feeling it was really cozy. The staff was so friendly and helpful with us deciding which croffle to try. It was fabulous!! The weekend latte was so delicious and flavorful it was a perfect morning treat! We started with the blueberry croffle ( delicious would get again. My husband got a sausage egg and cheese with two hash browns it was ginormous but he really enjoyed it. I had the drop the eggs and couldn't recommend enough!! It was amazing!! The bacon was thicker and high quality, the eggs were fluffy, and the sauce really just was life changing. Would pay for the recipe to have it everyday! read more

Korean inspired cafe with aesthetically pleasing brunch plates. This place was SO packed and they took forever to bring out our food - probably waited a good 30 minutes or more. Super kind servers though! It was cool being seated at the counter, because we could watch the chefs make the food right in front of us on the griddle! Their drinks are super aesthetic!! My friend got a matcha einspaner, which had such a light sweetened cream on top and a delicious matcha latte at the bottom. I got the shakshuka, which came with a HUGE generous skillet with 2 eggs, three bordering breakfast sausage meatballs, and sour dough bread. Def enough for two people to share, and I loved how rich the flavors were. While it was toasted, I do wish they added butter to the bread. read more

This cafe was recommended to me by my sister who lives in Boston. It was the perfect brunch spot for a rainy day. The menu was quite expansive for a small cafe and there were options for everyone. I came here for brunch in a group of 4 on a weekend. After putting my number down on the tablet at the entrance, we waited less than 30 minutes for our table to be ready. The only downside is that you can't view a live waitlist and they only send you a text once your table is ready, so it is hard to anticipate how long the wait will be unless you flag down one of their very very busy staff. We each ordered our own entree but there was an issue with the POS ordering system and our food never arrived. After noticing nearby tables that were seated after us receive their food, we checked in with a server and learned about the error. They were extremely apologetic and gave us a croffle and cheesecake on the house while we waited. We got to try the blueberry cream cheese croffle, which came with a lot of syrupy blueberries. The croffle had a sticky, sweet, and crispy outer layer that was really tasty. We also tried the matcha basque cheesecake which was creamy and light at the same time. It was a lot less sweet than the croffle. After a little while our entrees arrived. The portion sizes are already pretty big, and because we snacked on their desserts before we got our entrees, I couldn't finish my order! I got the smoked salmon sandwich ($15) which came with a side of arugula salad. I actually liked the salad even more than the sandwich itself. The salad was basically 50% arugula and 50% cheese-- as someone who really loves arugula and parmesan, I couldn't ask for a more perfect salad. I enjoyed the sandwich, which had a decent portion of smoked salmon and a lot of pickled onions that added a bright and tangy crunch. Due to the weekend crowd the restaurant was extremely packed and it was almost hard to hear each other at times. This would be a really nice place to have a chill weekday brunch or dinner when the restaurant is not as chaotic. read more

A hidden gem for breakfast in the city! My boyfriend and I discovered this place one morning and I'm really glad we did. They have a variety of breakfast classics you can choose from. I ordered their bacon, egg and cheddar breakfast sandwich on sourdough which was really good, although I wish a little larger. I also got a cafe weekend latte which I really liked. My boyfriend ordered the eggs benedict which was good. It also came with a side salad. His honey citron tea was good as well. Their pancakes are a must and are not like traditional pancakes. They're a small stack with a more cake like consistency. We got a stack of plain to split and they were super yummy. Overall cute spot with awesome food! Service was good too. read more
I didn't try their coffee but their food is so good!! I tried their toowoomba pasta with wide noodle substitution and it came in a bread bowl and it was so creamy and yummy. I also tried their burger and wasn't super special but the meat was juicy and seasoned well. The service was great and the food came out fast. Their restroom is downstairs and you have to ask them. They have a good amount of seating but a small inside. read more

Visited on a Sunday afternoon. Was still very busy, had to wait around 20 minutes to be seated. Overall, food was not bad. I particularly enjoyed the blueberry Croffle. Had the Matcha Einspanner and Eggs Benedict. Both pretty standard, nothing too crazy. It was super loud so just be mindful of that. Also, the seating is pretty tight and it is a small space. Would want to visit on a weekday to checkout their pancakes. read more

AMAZINNGGGGGG!!!!! I love coming here and I've loved it since the first time I came. Their French toast is delicious every single time. I love ordering the Benedict, it's hits the spot. My mother is obsessed with their Shakshuka and is always happy when she orders it. We also tried their Weekend Burger and it so good, I will definitely order it again. This place is truly amazing from the food, to the service, to the ambiance and the staff. The staff are so sweet and kind, it makes the trip all the more worth it. The place always has such a nice and comfy vibe. Our server was Dong Eun and he was so kind and extremely attentive with anything we needed. This is my top place at any time of the day wether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner. I know I'll be happy & satisfied when I eat here. read more

Located right in Allston and easily accessible with the bus. This is a cute little cafe with a great brunch selection. I came here on a Saturday so it was crowded but only had a 15 min wait. I got the weekend latte. It was delicious and the perfect amount of sweetness I like. The Nutella Banana Pancakes were extremely fluffy and airy. The drop the egg sandwich was one of my favorite breakfast sandwiches I had. I replaced the bacon with avocado. The brioche bun and the special sauce really created a great combination for a breakfast sandwich. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Overall, I highly recommend this place for brunch. read more
Came to Cafe Weekend for brunch. *Tip* Get there early because this is a small cozy spot. Our server was very nice. The Pink Lemonade was very tasty! I ordered "Drop The Eggs" which comes with scrambled eggs, bacon, American cheese, sweet & spicy sauce on a brioche bun with a side of home fries. The sandwich was delicious; the sweet & spicy sauce brings it to another level! The home fries were overcooked so I swapped it out for a side of fries (not pictured) and the fries were so good! Cafe Weekend is a bright and minimalist breakfast spot in Allston. Each table has syrup, sugar, salt, pepper, and hot sauce, and you can scan for the online menu. Service was quick, and our food took around 20 minutes. We got the bacon cheese omelette and Nutella banana pancakes & both were delicious. The omelette had the bacon and cheese folded inside and paired well with the crispy yet soft potatoes (we asked for ketchup on the side). The pancakes were sooo fluffy and I love the combo of Nutella and banana. Total came out to $35 after tip and tax. The bathroom is in the bathroom behind the kitchen so be careful walking down. Such a cute spot for breakfast foods anytime, especially if you're craving soufflé pancakes! read more
