This was a nice pick me up after dinner. I got many different flavors: Dutch chocolate, peanut butter chocolate, cookies and creams, and s'more's. My favorite was the peanut butter chocolate. The staff were friendly and helpful. I did wish they had a bit more flavors.

This place was open late for some tasty frozen yogurt with a bar of toppings and choices galore! Located in Boston, FroyoWorld hit the spot for late night frozen yogurt cravings. I got the tart dairy free flavor of froyo and it was sooo tasty. Almost like a creamy and tart lemon/vanilla. Went perfectly with my fresh toppings of: Passionfruit popping boba, mango popping boba, kiwis, almonds, cookie dough and blueberries! Delicious!! I also added a dairy free berry and a watermelon froyo swirl to try. They were both delicious, but the watermelon was a little too sweet for me. The fruit options were pretty fresh and juicy, but the kochi was rock hard. The Oreos in the drawer also tasted a little bit stale. Service here was friendly and fast, employees were super nice! The casual vibe of everyone in there was also a huge plus. I wish there was more seating and that some of the toppings were more fresh, other than that, be sure to check this place out!!

One of the last bastions of the 2012 Froyo craze. Let me start, the ambiance is perfect. They play pop hits from the early 2010's, the mascot is cheery, and ratatouille is playing on the TV. It's like you stepped into a time portal. The froyo is wonderful. It tastes like they used real fruit and vanilla bean to make the flavors. Some of the best froyo ive had. The toppings, plentiful. Everything you could want, and more! Butterfingers? yes. Fresh strawberries? Yes. White chocolate chips? YES. Fresh Kiwi? HELL YES! Finally service. Always straightforward with a smile. You couldn't ask for more if you tried. Never stop being yourself Froyoworld.

Very solid yogurt shop. The yogurt had amazing flavor. Lots of great options, however it would be nice if they added a couple more yogurt/ Side Options which is why I gave it -1 star. The staff is friendly and helpful.

With a happy round Mascot, Froyo world explodes onto the Allston/Brighton scene much like a wet firework. In all honesty, there are many froyo places around town and this restuarant really is not too much different. You pick your froyo and your toppings. At 65 cents an oz, Froyo world is way too expensive for what it is. The service is great and the staff was more than hapy to hand out samples and explain each flavor. Overall, FroyoWorlds lack of diversity, high prices and generally average food hurts its competitiveness in the froyo scene.

Lots of toppings. Yogurt flavor is pretty good - Dutch chocolate. Not too many flavors to choose from, but enough selection to please most people. Plenty of seating and free water. Smells a bit like cleaning solution.

I went here recently to get my froyo fix and it, sadly, reminded me why I've been enjoying regular ice cream more. I think that the appeal with froyo is that you can customize it to have exactly the toppings you're in the mood for. Whether you're looking for fruit, or chocolate, or the weirdest combination you can think you, froyo has you covered. The froyo was pretty watery here. I tried to push the handle down to get that froyo out that's been sitting for a while, but even when I did that, it was still falling apart once it hit the container. It still tastes good though. There were some little flies hovering over the containers of toppings which is annoying no matter where you are. I'm definitely no interior designer, but the all white furniture makes the chairs and tables look dirtier than they actually are. On the positive side, their staff was very nice and they have one of the largest topping selections I've seen at a froyo place. Unfortunately, I think I'll be sticking to traditional ice cream for a while.

Whole slew of toppings between me and my friends. If you know me, you'll know which one is mine :)

16 flavors to choose from-one of the flavors including nutella! Tasted more like mocha though. Staff is very attentive, coming up to ask if there are any flavors that wanted to be sampled. The froyo does melt significantly fast though...had a friend fill their cup to the rim with froyo and end up with a brown puddle with the concoction of flavors all mixed up. Eck!~ Very impressed with the electronic screens featuring the flavors. The toppings are pretty much the same as mixx with fruits, snacks, and bursting bobas, but how they set themselves apart is the organization of the snack toppings. It's pretty much like the candy sections in confectionery stores where you shovel out your candies from a clear box. I love the 'shovel'--that way I can shovel out my mochis more easily! =D A little pricey for froyo...came out close to $6. Convenient handsanitizers at your disposal, very clean, and spacious. I think my loyalties still lie with mixx though.

My froyo was more topping than it was froyo

Far out blends fruit into their ice creams which makes them taste out of this world. You can either make your own flavor by choosing a base ice cream and picking out your fruit as well as toppings. The staff was great at keeping up with the line and we got our order in no time at all. One thing I will say is, it's a bit pricey for a small cup. However I understand fresh fruit is expensive and I will pay for a delicious treat like this any day, def worth it. We will definitely be back to try more flavors from Far out.

I recently was nearby this location on a hot summer evening, and decided to stop in to finally try it out again. Summer and ice cream is a good pair. Going inside, you order by yourself on kiosks, not at the counter. There are signs to guide you to the iPads to order, but if it's crowded inside, this isn't the most intuitive thing for a newcomer. The ordering kiosks are practically the furthest location from the entrance. It was crowded when I went, but mostly with people eating their ice cream or waiting for an order so once I found the kiosk, I was able to order pretty quickly. Even with a bunch of people hanging out on a summer night, I was impressed that my order was ready pretty quickly (less than 5 minutes from placing the order). I decided to get the Vegan Kookaberry (vegan vanilla base) with blueberry and mango New Zealand style. It was good and serving was acceptable, but mine started to melt pretty quickly and was dripping over the side of my cup (about 5 minutes after getting it). Also, it is on the pricier side for ice cream, even without adding on things like toppings. For any non-dairy folks, you have to pay extra for the vegan substitution, which I genuinely find annoying. I do like that each order is made on the spot and you can customize flavors from time to time. I would go back again to try other options, but I personally wouldn't go out of my way for it.

I've heard folks raving about this place for years, so finally decided to swing by and try it out…read more First off, must say I'm a bit of a skeptic regarding specialty ice cream shops: with one exception (a now-defunct "frozen custard" shop in Friendswood, Texas of all places, where you could see the super-dense/rich stuff glacially oozing out of the machine, and one milkshake's worth of it kept me full for the rest of the day!) I have yet to find any that are significantly better than ordinary Haagen Daz from a supermarket. In fact, most ice cream parlour ice creams aren't even as good, while costing orders of magnitude more than supermarket H-D! Toscanini's is close to equal to H-D in my book...and mainly for the fact that they offer some truly unusual and original flavors: we had the Mango Sticky Rice, Burnt Caramel, and Kulfi. My friend who enjoyed the first one the most, quickly tired of the second, and the third was my favorite by far, mainly because I love cardamom and saffron so much. I was somewhat conflicted with the Burnt Caramel...first taste was delightful, but halfway through the novelty faded away for the most part. We both appreciated that the ice cream was not hyper-sweet like JP Licks, though. HOWEVER, the extreme creaminess, density, and dry mouth-feel of H-D was just not there, as usual. I'd describe the texture of Toscanini's ice cream to be fairly ordinary, like a typical soft/smooth gelato texture. Not bad, but not anything I would really write home about. YMMV of course. Otherwise, service was good and the place is clean and pleasantly modern inside, with 3 nice new steel benches to sit at outside. The benches are curiously turned AWAY from the street, I suppose to foster more of a "communal" vibe and people-watching opportunities. I've walked by during peak hours and seen it quite full, so this place clearly is still quite popular. At $8.25 for 3 scoops (albeit fairly generous sized scoops) of oh, 8 out of 10 ice cream, I don't see myself ever becoming a regular here despite the undeniably interesting/unique flavors, unless I came mainly for the people-watching opps on a nice weather day.
