Being a fan of local foods, on my morning walk visiting Brookline. I came across the most delightful place for sweet treats. Brogan was the most warm chocolate soul I have ever met. The only thing sweeter was the candy. It was amazing. My favorite was the almond crunch

Service: Quick turn around time on orders and easy to order online! Staff is welcoming and super nice. Chocolate: I ordered a Valnetines piñata cake which seemed pricey at about $75 however, the chocolate quality, amount, and taste are well worth it! Highly recommend for a special occasion or just to treat yourself to sweets!

Had this shipped to me. It came wrapped in a ice package. The selection was amazing. There had different favors and filling on each item. You can definitely taste the quality in the chocolate. Most where easily identifiable but some had staples on them. You can definitely taste the attention to detail in every bite

Serenade is such a lovely spot with delicious treats and great gift options! You can pick out a variety of beautiful and delicious chocolates and they have extra special options on holidays too! And they are covid aware which made me feel safe and comfortable in my visit.

I ordered this lovely Easter candy!

Great handmade chocolate...great staff. This friendly shop is not only my go-to favorite for self-indulgence, but also for gifts. Their pinata cake is my favorite gift (they ship!) for friends and family. Imagine taking a little mallet and cracking open an artisan molded chocolate cake filled with a variety of handmade chocolates. I'm posting a picture of some chocolates I ordered for easter; they arrived in great shape; the boxes were pretty, the candy was great. This is a MUST VISIT in the Boston area, but if you can't go in person, go online!

Save your money. This is what happens when you send a note with your expensive Valentine's Day chocolates.

I cannot tell you how disappointed I am in Serenade Chocolatier. Years ago, they had a stand in South Station, and my sister and I would stop and purchase their chocolates and marzipan candies for holidays for our parents. They disappeared long ago from Boston. With the pandemic, I wanted to send my 94-year old mother, whom I haven't been able to visit, something truly special, so I paid $57 for a box of their Valentine's chocolates and $15 for shipping (less than 20-mi away). The box arrived yesterday, but no one at home knew who it was from. My sister found the packing slip in with the styrofoam "s"'s. There was no card, and my note appeared in tiny font above the bar code on the packing slip. Nothing to indicate who sent it except for an email address. Wow! To say I am underwhelmed is truly an understatement. I share this so you won't have a similar Valentine's Day disappointment. I love supporting small businesses, but I wish I had bought mom a box of See's. I know that they would have done it right.

They had a thin string on the back to mimic a tail, which also helps keep your hands clean--a fun and thoughtful design. The cocoa and milk flavors were pure and rich, with a smooth and silky texture. I personally didn't find it too sweet. My friends who tasted it also raved about it. Pavé Glacé: The best of the bunch. Made in the same way as nama chocolate生チョコ--frozen chocolate ganache, but this one had a fine layer of cocoa powder, making it denser and more solid. It melted in mouth and starts to linger, with a more distinct flavor profile from bitter to sweet to fragrant. Sesame Truffe: Two pieces in one serving was perfect. A thin layer of light cocoa powder on the surface, the shell was so crisp that it crumbled in mouth, and the flowing filling with nutty and caramel flavors immediately spills out. However, I didn't taste much sesame; it's closer to hazelnut, the classic chocolate flavor, and a bit on the sweeter side.

So I did but took me a while. While waiting an Asian woman showed up and they took her order at the register, didnt tell her to use the kiosk. Apparently the kiosk is for non asians cuz they kept telling the non asians to use it while taking orders from the asian customers at the register area. This led me to not going back for a very long time. Recently I ended up here with another friend and its been awhile but wow iits dirty inside. They have a standing oscillating fan near the display donuts that have alot of dust build up in chunks.. The counters where you can get napkins ect, completely dirty, parts of the floor dirty. just dirty. The Donut displays are literally falling apart as pieces of the display donuts have fallen off, They should fix that. The donuts were alright, a doughy fried doe, a bit chewy and the tops we got Ube and Yuzu flavor but they were pretty lacking in flavor, was hoping for a lot more. Im not sure why ppl go here exactly, to each their own but it feels like they are being supported by the Asian community just because they are one of the only korean donut stores to exist not because they have great donuts.

Then let me introduce a chocolate brand that you can love . These little shops are an amazing authentic chocolate bar and store, no alcohol; just chocolate and a cafe. They serve a French style cuisine of fancy breakfast ! Wow! The food is amazing. They make coffee the way it should be done. It's a little glimmer of caffeine done way above your standards. The cappuccino was just a way that "was the way!" It replaces life back into you! Now let's explore the process of chocolate. They mass produce their chocolate but use a hand piping technique. They make the chocolates in cute little characters. The mice are the most interesting and yes you can play with it and then eat it. The hot chocolate is the best in the world. Coming here ended up being exactly what we needed: a warm, cozy spot and a really solid cup of hot chocolate. L.A. has a comfortable setup with a small dine-in area- and, it wasn't even busy when we came here which made it even nicer. There's a whole section for chocolate truffles filled with interesting sounding flavors- I'll come back to this in a second. There's an island in the middle stocked with gift items and other treats and the ordering counter has pastries and sweets. Out croissant was perfect for sharing and filled nicely with Nutella. While everything looked great, the chocolate truffles didn't quite hit the mark for me. I know the gourmet truffles I'm used and these aren't it for me..... that's just me. These didn't feel as rich or substantial in flavor as I was expecting. But listen....I'll come back with my kid ASAP for a hot chocolate!

The people who work there are pretty kind and will help in case of any kind of trouble you find, as my drink was made incorrectly and the man behind the counter was kind enough to notice and remake it before I even grabbed it, which was well appreciated. The food itself, and my drink, an iced vanilla latte with oatmilk, though was a bit of a miss for ME personally. I went with two other friends who seemed to like their food and drinks for the most part. Mango Cream Donut- The Mango Cream donut was probably the best thing I tried from our spread, it doesn't taste as you'd expect and meets you with a very light and airy mango flavor in the cream, very tasty and i'd gladly get this again. 8/10 Red Bean Cream Bun- This was the second best thing I tried that day, once again very light and very delicious, soft and creamy red bean filling, covered by a very soft and well baked breading. 9/10 Frappe- The Frappe we got was I believe a plain coffee frappe, this was an item my friend ordered, and i definitely liked it more than my own drink 8/10 Sweet Potato Cake- Pretty good, could be better. I love sweet potato, and this was a very unique taste on a sweet potato baked good. I would eat it again if it was gifted for sure, but idk if i'd go out of my way to get it. 6.5/10 Iced Vanilla Latte with Oat milk- I was not a fan of my latte. The milk tasted a bit off, or maybe the syrup but something was just a bit odd. Gave it to a friend and even they didn't want to finish it 5/10 Curry Puff- It has so much potential, and i think there was something a bit off about it as well. it's a certain taste i can't put my finger on, and i think it was something with the breading or the sesame seeds. i really wanted to like this, and really liked the first half until the off flavor became a bit overwhelming for me 5/10 Matcha Croissant- I love matcha, and i love croissants, so together i expected something to fall in love with, but this was a tad bit of a miss for me. i think truthfully it tasted a bit stale to me and like the matcha cream had been sitting for a bit too long. 4/10 Short bread Cookies- The short bread cookies I got were pretty good! it's a bit hard to go wrong with cookies. but these were nothing to write home about 7.5/10
