Tous Les Jours in Allston, Boston, is beautiful to the eye! There's plenty of places to sit on one end of the establishment and upon our arrival the display of goods was well attended to and the food appeared to be fresh (you can see the workers bringing food actively to their cases). The people who work there are pretty kind and will help in case of any kind of trouble you find, as my drink was made incorrectly and the man behind the counter was kind enough to notice and remake it before I even grabbed it, which was well appreciated. The food itself, and my drink, an iced vanilla latte with oatmilk, though was a bit of a miss for ME personally. I went with two other friends who seemed to like their food and drinks for the most part. Mango Cream Donut- The Mango Cream donut was probably the best thing I tried from our spread, it doesn't taste as you'd expect and meets you with a very light and airy mango flavor in the cream, very tasty and i'd gladly get this again. 8/10 Red Bean Cream Bun- This was the second best thing I tried that day, once again very light and very delicious, soft and creamy red bean filling, covered by a very soft and well baked breading. 9/10 Frappe- The Frappe we got was I believe a plain coffee frappe, this was an item my friend ordered, and i definitely liked it more than my own drink 8/10 Sweet Potato Cake- Pretty good, could be better. I love sweet potato, and this was a very unique taste on a sweet potato baked good. I would eat it again if it was gifted for sure, but idk if i'd go out of my way to get it. 6.5/10 Iced Vanilla Latte with Oat milk- I was not a fan of my latte. The milk tasted a bit off, or maybe the syrup but something was just a bit odd. Gave it to a friend and even they didn't want to finish it 5/10 Curry Puff- It has so much potential, and i think there was something a bit off about it as well. it's a certain taste i can't put my finger on, and i think it was something with the breading or the sesame seeds. i really wanted to like this, and really liked the first half until the off flavor became a bit overwhelming for me 5/10 Matcha Croissant- I love matcha, and i love croissants, so together i expected something to fall in love with, but this was a tad bit of a miss for me. i think truthfully it tasted a bit stale to me and like the matcha cream had been sitting for a bit too long. 4/10 Short bread Cookies- The short bread cookies I got were pretty good! it's a bit hard to go wrong with cookies. but these were nothing to write home about 7.5/10 read more

It is a self service store when it comes to everyday pastries. not to be dramatic but this walnut cream cheese bread might be the best little treat i've ever had. it was SO. Having a sweet tooth after a long miserable day of shopping with my wife, I determined it was payback time for a treat. On my way home I drove by Tours Les Jours and decided to give it a try. The shop front was nothing exceptional but there was easy to find street parking. When I walked in expecting simple, I was met with a huge, modern shop with eat-in tables and loads of hot, cold and counter options. My takeaway turn into a now and later as the choices were many and all of them tempting. My wife, daughter and I sample several pastries such as a form of cream puff with fresh strawberries, vanilla creme doughnut, milk cream bun, coffees all around. Yummy... to take home we took macarons, almond croissant, blueberry milk bread, and more. Basically I am now an expert at the menus and can highly recommend this place. I'll be going back! read more

If you have not tried Korean bakery bread loaf, I highly recommend. Atmosphere: - After COVID, they have closed off all of the seating areas and it is to go only. Service: - Bread area is self serve. They also have several tables and chairs to eat the pastries which is nice but it's packed with students studying. They have so many French-Asian fusion baked goods including matcha donut and red bean donut that I've tried. I came here to order a birthday cake and luckily I had asked if the cakes were baked fresh daily. Apparently all the cream cakes are shipped from headquarter on Tuesdays while the fresh cream cakes are made daily. Needless to say, for last minute birthday cakes I bought a "premium" chocolate vanilla layered fresh cream cake that was made the day of. They had several options but that was the one I chose. However, the cakes themselves were pretty simple and light and in my opinion, there was nothing super special about them. They were overall pretty sweet and had quite a bit of whipped cream too so I would say that the cakes here are not really worth the money. Even though the quality isn't bad, you're much better off going to another bakery like Paris Baguette to get cakes for a more reasonable price. Tous Les Jours is a cute little bakery that will definitely fulfill your bread cravings but certain things on their menu are a bit overpriced. I would check it out if you haven't already!
