It says OneZo but they also have a MochiNut in the same space. After lunch across the street, we were in the mood for dessert and happened to see this place. Some tables were occupied on a late Saturday afternoon but it was not crowded. The staff at the register wasn't the friendliest but it was ok. We got a sesame mochinut to share and also managed to snag an empty table. The donut was nice, not too sweet but perfectly chewy in texture. The ambiance is also quite peaceful so we sat there for a while, chatting, and it was great that no one rushed us.

Definitely a self service type of place - no one takes your order it seems like, they have a self service machine. I definitely don't mind since I like to customize my drink and it makes it easier this way. I love all the different options and the boba was chewy and delicious. I usually get worried about adding bubbles to my drink, but I was feeling optimistic and I was right this time around. I got the mango green tea with zero sugar because the mango made it sweet already.

AMBIENCE: 3/5 - We were the only ones there since it had just opened but it played the typical KPop music that most boba places played - Small place with not much seating but boba's meant to be grab-and-go anyway - Cute little picture on the wall of Van Gogh sipping on boba. It made me chuckle haha SERVICE: 4.5/5 - We went right when it opened with one person working who greeted us with a smile. We felt bad as we had to change our order a couple of times since we couldn't decide - you could tell he was a little annoyed but when we apologized he was polite and said not to worry about it - Drinks were made right away so it was quick since we were the only ones there - Wish the drinks could be a bit colder but still a good temperature FOOD/DRINK: 4.5/5 - Grape Fruit Green Tea w/Aloe Jelly: Came in slush form, which the server told us beforehand which is much appreciated. My friend didn't care much but I personally don't like slushie drinks. That being said, this one was pretty bomb. Very grape fruit and tart enough that it gives it a little kick but not too much that I make a face. Like the touch with the grapefruit slice in there - gave it the asthenic I am always looking for haha - Passionfruit Green Tea w/Mango Boba: Solid passionfruit green tea. Can't really go wrong with that combo anywhere. The mango boba was delicious, although I wish they had just slightly better texture just because half of them popped before I could even get them through the straw. I ordered 25% sugar and I'm glad that I did. I don't have much of a sweet tooth and the 25% sugar was sweet enough for me. OVERVIEW: - Would come here again to try other flavors. Grape Fruit Green Tea is pretty solid.

I've tried the tea at OneZo twice now, and I just don't really like it. It's not bad, it's just average. The interior is clean and has some very cute decorations (more for cute pictures of your drink), but I don't think I would sit there for half an hour.

I'm surprised that this place opened up next to Royaltea (they're pretty much next door). I didn't have a great experience at Royaltea, so I hoped that this place would be better. For my lactose intolerant friends out there, no need to pull out your Lactaid pills because THEY USE LACTAID MILK FOR THEIR LATTE DRINKS! WOOHOO The menu has the standard set of typical bubble tea drinks as well as a dessert menu (think sago, taro balls). They have a number of different tapioca balls to choose from (including purple yam). I got the purple yam latte ($5.25) with purple yam bubble ($0.75). The drink was prepared super quickly. The purple yam itself did not have that much flavor (it tasted like grainy milk). The drink was not super sweet. The purple yam bubbles were very chewy but again did not add much flavor to the drink. I know that this drink is not supposed to be exploding with flavor but the lack of flavor in the purple yam bubbles was a little disappointing. Overall, I'd choose to go here over Royaltea any day.

Dining method: Counter-serve Item(s) ordered: Thai tea with classic boba, no milk, 25% sugar Speed: Fast! (Like 2-3 minutes) Things to know: - You can customize amount of sugar and ice (and potentially other things too!) - There are dairy-free and lactose-free options, and you can even get the tea without milk (including Thai tea) The short answer: Accommodating, customizable, and generally delicious, OneZo is the place to get your bubble tea! The location is very accessible, right on the C-line. OneZo is a cute little shop with a lot of character that you should totally visit if you have a hankering for boba. The long answer: The one milk alternative is oat milk. They also stock their store with loads of Lactaid milk (quite funny, honestly). You can ask for no milk (which was absolutely delicious with an iced Thai tea, though you might have to insist, because it's not a classic order). The staff are super sweet too. Will definitely be returning.

Solid boba place. I've had the HK Milk Tea, Bamboo Charcoal Latte, and one of the ZZ Desserts (think along the lines of Taiwanese desserts with taro balls, sago, herbal jelly etc). Never too busy which is a plus. My friends love the other items on the top 10, especially the grapefruit green tea and the mango green tea for those who like fruity teas. I thought their brown sugar boba added a nice sweetness to my drinks and was better than brown sugar boba at other places. My only qualm is that sometimes they run out of the different toppings. Smaller store with no bathroom for customers.

Grapefruit green tea with white bubble and mango pomelo sago

I tried this place for the first time during a super hot day. I usually like to try milk teas, but because of the heat that day I opted for something a little lighter and more refreshing. I chose to get the grapefruit green tea with less sugar, regular ice, and with the white bubble (recommendation from the barista - such a good choice!) as well as the mango pomelo sago. The drink had the perfect amount of sweetness to it and had a well-balanced flavor profile between the grapefruit and the green tea. I also loved how there was crushed grapefruit at the bottom! The mango pomelo sago was also DELICIOUS! It wasn't too sweet and I really enjoyed the taste of natural mango in this dessert! OneZo has a great selection of drinks and their baristas make great recommendations (another impressed customer came in to express how happy they were with the barista's recommendations while I was there)!

Tasty, fast, and I appreciated how the servers answered any questions we had. The cheese foam is a nice addition that tends to taste like cheesecake!

I probably would have loved it in my 20s. They do have a room with tatami mats & exposed brick with the vibes I was hoping for, but a woman is talking and gesticulating animatedly in there, and at another table there's a toddler, whereas the tables on the floor are ironically much quieter. Maybe I'll check out that room next time? I get the establishment isn't responsible for patrons' volume or meltdowns. They have signs asking you not to stay more than 90 minutes...which I find fascinating, as the ambiance doesn't lend itself towards lingering. Nonetheless, 4 stars because I really enjoyed my first iced Houjicha Latte. In the future, I'll take my drink orders to go.
