I really like this location because it's fresh and new. The ovens do a great job toasting the sandwiches. At this location they give u a free fountain drink with a breakfast sandwich purchase....most don't do that. But best of all, crushed ice. The soda machine dispenses crushed ice. Love it. I ordered a tuna salad at approximately 11:00 p.m. last night. The heavy set guy prepared the tuna salad and scooped out the last 2 servings of dried tuna from the bottom of the container especially for my salad. I was very hungry and in a hurry to get home so I ate it. Now it is 2:30 a.m. and I am trotting to the toilet with loose bowel movements! I can taste the rancid tuna that this guy served me. My stomach is sore too. Now everyone will know why I will never go to this open 24 hours dive again! Great subway!! Always greeted when I walk in, good amount of seating, bathroom, and clean. Jessica G does an amazing job, friendly, and fast making my sandwich. My husband and i LOVE this Subway!! They by far have the freshest bread and ingredients than any other location we've been to. Also staff is always very friendly. The customer service is excellent and the food served fast. I enjoy going to this location at 4207 E. Willow. I have a closer one I could go to at 2150 E. Willow St., but the customer service is bad and I even think I got food poisoning one time there because the food was not prepared properly. The manager Maria is very rude. I prefer going a little farther so I can see the always cheery Karina and Jessica at 4207 E. Willow. P.S. The best thing about this subway is the staff. Jessica and Martha and Alma have always given me SPECTACULAR customer service. At so late in the night, i would not go to another location besides this one. The gals are super friendly and make great sandwiches, and the special buy one get one free after midnight is a great deal. In addition, it feels safe. Large parking lot and things are well lit. The reason that I am giving this yelp is to inform subway restaurant's in the Long Beach area that it is inhumane not to allow a customer who is either elderly or handicapped to use the bathroom facility that they have on site. This happened to a friend of mine whose father was humiliated by being turned away after ordering byby the staff. No signs are posted that customers cannot use the restroom and it appears they are not clean ir is too much trouble to give a key. I am handicapped and almost a senior myself. I understand the need to find a restroom when warranted . the staff was illiterate and unfeeling sending this man or anyone when necessary to search for other venues. I protest subway if this is their Way of treating customers or rules given by the corporation or the franchise cannot understand that even if it is policy sometimes you need to look the other way and treat all customers with kindness. Not a good place to go if all Subway's have this policy that they cannot overlook. Will let everyone check there area to see if policy is national. I will not eat at any Subway because of this issue. There are times when someone cannot wait and can go to another place to eat that allows you a place to even wash your hands before you eat. Should people feel Subway is hiding code violations in their bathrooms. Should we be checking the board of health to have this evaluated. Wait and see read more

I have went to several different Subway locations in the Long Beach and surrounding area, this location at 4207 Willow is the best by far, first off the cleanliness of the store is spotless, the bread always fresh and not over cooked, the customer service is awesome, I stopped in last week around 2am and was greeted by a employee named KeAndrea she was very cheerful and professional and with me being a picky customer she showed a great deal of patience and offer suggestions I had no idea Subway still had the pastrami sandwich (my favorite by the way) in this case I ordered and it was the best pastrami I've had. If you want something good to eat and healthy at the same time, Subway is the place to be. I tend to not eat at fast food restaurants too often, but when I do, Subway is the place I choose. As a vegetarian, this place is good for me since I can find a meal easily. Subway is a fast food restaurant that sells salads and sandwiches. Other things you can get are drinks like soda, water, or anything from the small fridge that they have. The alternatives with coming here, is that you get to choose whatever you want to be added, and as much as you want without having to pay more for it. The size if what will determine how much you pay. Chips and drinks are also sold here. There are a variety of things to choose from at Subway. Different bread, vegetables, meat, and cheese. When you go to Subway, expect to be asked what type of bread you want, and what things you want to be added. You have to choose these ingredients, because Subway doesn't already have them prepared like other places might and are more fresh. If I want something good to eat and stay healthy at the same time, Subway provides that. Since I am a vegetarian, I get the veggie patty. The wheat bread and patty are first toasted. Then they add lettuce, spinach, avocado chipotle southwest sauce, and black olives. All of the vegetables are cut into small pieces. The bread comes in 1 ft. or 6 in, I get 6in. The size I get depends on how hungry I feel at that moment. Many fast food restaurants don't offer many choices of healthy food, but Subway does. Subway sells sandwiches and salads which are filled with the vegetables of your choice. If you are like me, vegetarian, I can assure you will find something good to eat here at Subway. read more
