I intentionally chose this Subway in Long Beach due to the high ratings and reviews provided on Yelp. Last week I spoke to Ramon and coordinated and scheduled a large delivery to one of the businesses I support. Today, I visited the store to meet Ramon, pay and check out the store. I noticed that this store is well lit, extremely clean and organized. The vegetables and toppings displayed were very fresh. I have never visited a better Subway. This one is exceptional. Bought a meatball sandwich the bread not toasted barley got after only 20 seconds. Half the cheese was not even melted. Meatballs are small and tasteless and the marinara had no seasoning at all. I am so disappointed in the service. First I was nicely greeted by a lady. Then I ordered my meal through the app, because I had a deal for a $6.99 footlong. Then a man begins to make my sandwich. I asked him if I can get extra banana peppers (as I normally would when ordering a subway sandwich) and he tells me I can't have extra. I am confused because I normally am allowed extra veggies. I know meats, cheeses, and avocados are extra charge but fricken veggies?!? He continues and says because the deal doesn't allow for extras. He then gives me 3 pieces of banana pepper for a whole footlong. The app has the option for no peppers, regular peppers, or extra banana peppers (in which I selected on the receipt, as well as on the special request section). The ingredients are so fresh! Other subways taste old or the veggies are brown but this place always has fresh veggies! The people here are funny and kind. And I especially love that every time the subway app has a deal, this location always accepts the deal :) read more

I feel like Subway should have 3 workers to help balance the influxes of customers. Because 1 worker on mobile orders and 1 worker taking care of the whole line is kinda of rough. My experience was good. I did a mobile order for pickup since there was a 15% off for ordering online. They accidentally only made it a 6" when I ordered a foot long but they were very gracious and kind to fix it. Went to pick up a meal for a sick friend. This is the closest Subway to their home. They're vegetarian and when I asked the clerk if she could please change her gloves because my friend does not eat meat, she gave me a stank attitude. She was definitely pissed and was rushing me through the line and after I paid and said thank you, she walked off in a huff. I know everyone has a bad day and all but I was very nice and cordial to her. I suggest a hard pass on this place due to the employees. Great Service!!!! Just stopped in for the first time at this location and was pleasantly surprised. Subways can be all over the place, this location is very clean and has a nice feel. You can tell te franchise owner really cares about the condition of the store. What made it a 5 star visit was the employee named Bianca. Very polite and kind. Service stinks! I placed an online order for curbside pickup. I got here three minutes before the pick up time. I called and said I was here and the girl said OK well you still have three more minutes so I said OK. Another 15 minutes past my pick up time transpired and then I finally called and they could not come up with an explanation as to why it took so long. Somebody finally came out with my sandwich and said I didn't know you were here and I said that's why I called, to tell you that I was here. Why else would I call? Then she told me she couldn't see my car because another car was blocking it which is ridiculous. I said, then you have to come out and look further because the front spot is not always available. Very friendly and outgoing, and her service was excellent! I had a text coupon for 2 footlongs for 11.99 and she did not skimp on the meat nor toppings! Worst subway I have visited. Manager is not respectful and staff is the same way. You order but they choose for you. I requested for the bread to be toasted but they didn't want to do it. When I asked them to toast it they still refused and said these things just happen sometimes. I asked for mustard in a packet and they said they couldn't give me any because these things just happen. The mustard packets were available behind them on the counter. Never coming back to this site. Don't order online either. I tried and they gave me whatever they wanted but billed me for what I ordered. They are bad in person and online. read more

Food poisoning. Got someones wig hairs in my foot long sandwich (it had clear clue at the roots and they where white). Shared sandwich with my kid. It must have had something else in the sandwich because we have both gotten sick soon after and are now puking. We told the women at the counter and one of them took the hairs and gave us $2.97 in return as a refund. It was more of a slap in the face. Then we left feeling like we got shewed out the door. Before even leaving the door my daughter and I started having stomach pains. Might have to go to the hospital. And I HATE Doctors. read more

Well not much to say other than it's a regular run of the mill subway, and just like any location it depends on your "sandwich artist" and the amount they load your sandwich. The veggies are fresh but for the most part, subway franchises have that as standard protocol. If say the only perks of this subway is that it's newer and right next to Starbucks!!!! So you can stop by for breakfast order a sandwich, to avoid the morning crowd you can then, use the the Starbucks app to order your drink. Voila! Breakfast and maybe lunch is taken care of. read more

Just visited this subway and had a very pleasant experience with the young gal who helped us. I didn't catch her name but she had dark hair and a couple facial piercings. She was so friendly and genuinely happy to serve us. We asked for the fresh cookies and she went out of her way to go to the back and get us the freshest cookies they had. Very sweet gal! read more

I would give 5 stars but the owner of this location gets minus 2 stars for not having the ice machine fixed! And you should be happy you have a great team MAKING YOU MONEY! I was super bummed that the store closes at 10pm every night but tonight they locked the door before 10pm. It clearly states online and on the window that they are open until 10pm.
