To me, Wingstop is synonymous with their Lemon Pepper Chicken Wing, which they've perfected. When I get 20 wings from here, 12 of them will be lemon pepper, 4-6 of them would be original hot, and 4-6 will be something else (BBQ sauce, mango habanero, or whatever else I'm craving). Wingstop is a three-star wing (OK per yelp's scale) as it's quick, reliable, and delicious. This particular location, however, is four stars (good per yelp's scale) to me because I can always count on them getting my order right. I can't say the same for the Hawaiian Gardens location; therefore, I always drive the extra mile to come here instead. read more

Wingstop - Chicken Wings Near Me - Lakewood, California

To celebrate National Ranch Day, Wingstop was offering a free cup of ranch dressing with any purchase on that day only. National Ranch Day was on a Monday this year, and Wingstop offers 80 cent boneless wings on Mondays as well as Tuesdays. Even though I much prefer bone-in wings over boneless wings, sometimes, you just need to switch things (or wings, in this case lol) up every now and then. If you know me and Buffalo wings, you know I always choose ranch over bleu cheese. Unfortunately, there is not a Buffalo flavor at Wingstop, but the Original Hot flavor resembles the Buffalo quite a lot, though I'm sure denizens of that city would disagree as much as they disagree with my choice of dipping sauce for wings lol. I already had a small dinner prepared at home, so I didn't want a whole order of wings. At first, it appears that the smallest number of wings you can order is 10, but when I added the ranch to my bag first, I was then asked if I'd like to add something else to my order. That's when I saw I could add 5 boneless wings for $4, choosing one flavor, Original Hot in my case. I arrived within the 5-minute window of when my order should be ready for pickup, and lo and behold, it was ready for pickup. Wingstop also offers forks upon request, and wanting to keep my hands clean, I asked for one before feasting on my wings. The boneless wings were relatively small in size, which probably explains why I got 7 pieces instead of 5. So I definitely appreciate them giving me more than I paid for. However, more doesn't always mean better. What do I mean here? The Original Hot is one of Wingstop's most popular flavors, but unfortunately, I was kind of underwhelmed with the Original Hot flavor here. Granted, I did drown each wing with ranch, but I barely tasted any Buffalo sauce at all! They were only sparingly used on my wings, so I doubt I would have enjoyed these wings much, if at all, without the ranch. Also, the boneless wings were pretty soft and mushy. The ranch didn't stick onto the wings very well, so whereas I was able to use an entire cup of lemon pepper dipping sauce for 5 bone-in wings at a different location, I could only consume just over half a cup of ranch for 7 boneless wings at this location. As a whole, the Original Hot boneless wings weren't bad, but now I wish I had spent an extra dollar for the bone-in version instead as I'm certain I would have liked them more. Nevertheless, the boneless wings and the ranch were tasty enough to make for a good pre-dinner snack. I especially liked how the ranch was nice and tangy here. The manager working the dinner shift has a bit of a standoff-ish attitude that when I asked her for a fork, I almost thought she was going to bark back at me. Luckily, she didn't, but she wasn't as welcoming as the manager working the lunchtime shift, who was much more jovial. She also took my order on a previous visit when I ordered a 15-piece Meal for 2, which includes a large side. The side doesn't necessarily have to be fries, but I chose the Buffalo Ranch Fries, normally a 70 cent upcharge from the seasoned fries. I asked for the sauces to be on the side, but for some reason, they thought "sauces on the side" meant "omit the fries entirely", thus awkwardly halving my meal for 2 into a meal for 1. At least the bone-in wings were nice, crispy, and flavorful! Much better than what I had at BWW! I was able to recoup those missing fries, but went with Louisiana Voodoo this time. Those were pretty good and also worth a 70-cent upcharge, but I didn't like how the fries themselves were too soft and not crispy even though the menu description says they should be. I may have to ask for the fries to be cooked well done next time I order fries. The 15-piece Meal for 2 comes with two drinks, and I do appreciate being offered a drink carrier to carry both drinks out with ease. They have a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine where you can choose from a multitude of different flavors, and there's only one dispenser in the machine rather than one for each different drink. You can find this Wingstop on the northeast corner of Carson and Woodruff in the same building as Glory Days Sports Grill, One Sip Boba Tea House, and WaBa Grill. Same plaza as Vons. There's ample parking in front, and there's parking in the rear as well. This is the third Wingstop I've patronized this year, and I think this location is the best of the three, but not good enough for me to award a 4th star. They are just inconsistent all around, but the employees do exhibit better work ethic here save for the missing fries, a major oversight that I have to repeat in this review as a reminder of how bad they can mess up a customer's order. read more

I've been coming here for over 10 years but the past few years the culture has been super friendly, Jordan and her team have been the best! Great customer service and the wings are always cooked nicely. Man..... what happened to this place? It is not the same anymore. Is it under new management or ownership or something? Restaurant is still very clean, which is a big reason to come back but the service could be better. Not sure who the skinny girl is but she gave me the best service. Other than that, wings weren't the best. Maybe it was just a bad day. But goodness get it together! read more

Fast service and the wings are always good. The cashier behind the counter Julietta was very professional and polite.

Very great service the girls deserve raise, they were very sweet, nice, patient and attentive.

I wanted to order just wings and the person at the register told me I could not order just wings I had to order a meal. I was not happy about that because I did not want a meal. He also told me I had to order more than 5 wings, so I end up getting a 10-piece meal since there was no 5-piece meal. But my family wanted wings, so I end up getting the meal. The soda I wanted is not mixed and just tasted soda water it was gross. So, I had to replace it was another beverage that was mixed very well. Fries were too salty I do not know why but their Fries is always to salty. I do not like it as much. It could have been better, and service could have been better as well. read more

I got a large amount of wings for Super Bowl yesterday. My order was ready a couple minutes early. They were super busy but my food was in time for pick up and staff was still nice and courteous. I come here all the time and everyone is super nice especially the manager but this woman that started working there last few months was extremely rude to my wife the other day. She just got off work and picked up our wings, when she politely told her we got large drinks instead of small the woman snapped at her then snatched the cups out of my wife's hands. This is really not cool and my wife was very nice about it she could have complained and got her in trouble. But I am going to complain on her behalf because that's beyond being rude it's physically confrontational. Come here at least once a week but probably won't come back here for a while hoping that woman moves on some day because she obviously hates working there. read more

The all in one bundle was a pretty good deal. The boneless wings were OK, I am much more of a fan of bone in wings. The fries were amazing, the best around. Ordering from the app or online was IMPOSSIBLE! this will keep me from coming back. If I could, I would've given them 3.5 stars read more

Haven't been to wing stop in a decade, so despite the not so good reviews, we thought we'd try it anyways. The pros: service was great! Their online ordering system is efficient and our food was ready when we got there. The cons: Every wing flavor taste like chemicals because well it's a franchise that uses chemicals, lol. We got the All In Bundle. 16 boneless wings, 6 tenders, 1 large fry and 3 dipping sauces. Wing Sauces: 1) Hawaiian taste like the sauce they use in the lean cuisine frozen meals...yeah meh! 2) Lemon pepper: literally taste like lemon dish soap. 3) Original hot: this is your best bet. The most decent flavor like a buffalo sauce. 4) Spicy Korean: meh not very Korean and chemically. Fries: are the best thing on the menu IMO. They are addicting because their seasoning salt has sugar in em. So who doesn't like sugar, lol. Dipping sauces are standard. We got the blue cheese, ranch, and honey mustard. Glad I tried it. Definitely won't be back. read more

Not really a fan. The fries are great, a few veggie sticks should be included for free if recommend. The wing flavors are okay, I don't care for their fried wings really tho, I prefer baked wings. Most workers are nice. Always a cool vibe, restrooms seem to always be clean. read more

Food was burning with no flavor nothing was crispy just like worm not a good experience not sure if we want to come back to this location

I've been coming here for years but this location keeps getting worse. Seems like they just hire anyone cause the guy who took my order over the phone was rude/sarcastic with zero customer service skills. I picked up my order and got home to the SMALLEST boneless chicken I've seen in my life. Quality and flavors used to hit but I was sooo bummed with my dinner when I seen what looked like crumbs of chicken pieces. Sucks cause I live close to this location but now I gotta drive a little further to Cerritos or cypress cause this location is going downhill read more

Service is absolutely awful, some worker with Google-eyed glasses always has a bunch of attitude. I watched my order sit there for 20 minutes. He yelled at me to sit and wait. First time at Wingstop. I enjoyed the crispness of the chicken. They were not too small. I had the Pineapple, which was flavorless to me but enjoyed the Bbq one which had more flavor. "Spread your wings and prepare to fly, For you have become a butterfly. Oh oh oh oh, fly abandonedly into the sun. If you return to me, We were truly meant to be. So oh oh oh spread your wings & fly, Butterfly."-"Buttefly", Mariah Carey 5 free boneless wings coupon w/ wing purchase. Cha-ching! 10 wings, 2 flavors + 5 free boneless = $7.19 plus tax This isn't the closest Wingstop to me, but it is the most convenient. "Why is that?", you say? It's because the nearest one is across the Cerritos Mall, where parking can be a problem. So, instead of dealing with that, I'll go a little farther & take Del Amo Blvd. to this location which doesn't have that problem. I was feeling magnanimous today, so I went for- 5 bone-in Atomic, 5 bone-in Lemon Pepper & 5 boneless Garlic Parmesan. Lemon Pepper - Tasty, buttery goodness. Lemon in every bite Garlic Parmesan - Good. However, I vastly prefer bone-in over boneless. Bone imparts flavor & juiciness, which to me is lacking in boneless wings. Atomic - I put it away like a champ. Is it hot? Heck yeah it's hot! I downed a sports bottle of water while eating this sans ranch dressing. I made sure to eat this last, as the Atomic sauce would burn my palate, numbing my tastebuds for the Lemon Pepper & Garlic Parmesan. Sweat dripped down my face, my lips burned but after a few mins, I was good. A few round & square tables are available to dine-in, with a TV showing the latest ball game. The restaurant is usually clean. A Coke machine which offers a ginormous amount of flavor combinations is available to experiment with, as well. Service was friendly as I ordered my wings to-go. I was told it would take 9 mins. I jokingly asked "Not 10 mins? Not 8 mins? 9 mins?". I say, round it to 10 to make it easier for everyone j/k. Being a multi-tasker, I went to the Starbucks next door to aske them for their used coffee grounds. Makes a great fertilizer for my garden! And it's free! Being green & saving cash money while doing so :) I recommend dropping by Wingstop the next time you're hankering for some wings. But, make sure to time them to see if it's been a full 9 mins j/k ;p Now I need to buy some Tucks medicated pads to soothe my future flaming bunghole :( NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM read more

By far the worst experience I've ever had at a Wingstop 1. My order was incorrect 2. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! The girl taking my order had a horrible attitude and zero customer service. Don't get me wrong, I don't walk to places expecting people to kiss my ass. But I'm always police and smile at people, so I would expect the same from others. I walked into the store and greeted her. She asked for my name, I said I just wanted it to go, not knowing they use the names for the orders. Instead of saying, "it's for the order". She asked for my name again in a sturdy harsh voice. From there things got worse. After providing her with me name, I asked for a "number two". She rolled her eyes and looked back at the menu. I guess I committed the capital sin of calling "number 2" instead of "meal 2". She asked if I wanted ranch. I couldn't heard what she asked so I said, "excuse me?" (My dumbass still being polite). She basically replied yelling with a condescending voice! I'm assuming the food is good (stay tuned for an update). How does this wingstop location keep getting worse? I order ahead, arrive to the location and pay for my food. They tell me 18 minutes. I sit in the lobby listening to the employees complain about their personal lives for 45 minutes. I go up to see how much longer until my food is ready and guess what? My order has been sitting there for the last 30 minutes. No notice or anything. The best part is when I get home I realize the great staff forgot to include a fry! This place has some of the worst customer service in the area. I live down the street and have been here since before most of those buildings at that intersection were built. I went in for the Wingstop and picked up an order Earlier. Without checking it I went home. When I realized it was incorrect. I immediately called back. I spoke with the Marco. He claimed to be the manager in charge. I can tell early on in the conversation he was not wanting to listen. When I Explained the problem. He instantly took the defensive. The price of five wings is not gonna break me. What gets me is his attitude. And his customer service skills. This guy belongs in a different business in a different town. Just be aware when doing business at the Woodruff location. read more

Wingstop has always been a favorite place of mine while choosing where to dine in-- they have a vast amount of flavors and choices of sides, it's not just wings. I traveled to Wingstop on March 8 around the time of 3:30 pm and Enrique's enthusiasm was completely through the roof. It almost felt as if I was dining in my own home-- overall, he was extremely nice: a great wing expert. Additionally, he had superb communication skills-- he even advised us of his personal favorite and when we couldn't decide he gave us time to finally make up our minds. He even gave us an estimated wait time and our food came out even before our predicted 20 minute wait. Lastly, I noticed the overall cleanliness of the restaurant was beyond my scale-- they had workers there cleaning and sanitizing which is very important especially in this current era. Attire: Casual Attire Presentation: The food was presented fairly well Atmosphere: Faint music playing in the background, outside dining available Efficiency: Absolutely superb, no mistakes Punctuality: Food was prepared quickly Disposition: Food was of great quality as well as entire experience Willingness: Enrique was more than willing to assist us Location: was great Attitude: Great attitude My overall experience was amazing and I will most definitely be back. read more

I ordered online for pick-up and was in and out in a heart beat! Luis asked when I walked in if I was arriving for pick-up and I replied with a yes, in which he immediately grabbed my bag and my birthday coupon (free large season fries), and removed it off my bill. One of the girls rang me up, and I paid. Was out in no time, and was happy to see my order all set & ready to go within 10-15 minutes of me placing it online. The only downfall was how much of the hot sauce liquid ended up on the bottom of the bag (could've been because I was holding the bag up-right inside of to the side). The spicy buffalo sauce actually ended up making the bottom of the bag soggy, which then created a tare/hole in the bag, so when I walked into my home, the liquid ended up leaking all onto my pants, a part of my shoe, and onto a rug. What a mess! It was practically impossible to get out of each one, and unfortunately I have to buy a new pair of soccer pants because it did not fully come out. I'm not sure who is to blame. It would've been nice if they told me to carry it a particular way, but then again I guess it could have been expected to happen. I wish I had the bag double-bagged! Anyways, the food was good, and tasty... and happy that they have the e-club birthday offer. Oh, and I'm also happy that his new location is so close to my house! read more

This is probably the Wing Stop location I have frequented the most over the years. Since moving to Orange County my visits have become further apart but this location still stands as one of my favorites. Wing Stop for those who don't know specializes in a variety of hot wings in various flavors as well as buffalo sliders and an assortment of sides. The prices are right in line with other restaurants of this type and the flavors are varied and delicious. My personal favorite is the Cajun which has great flavor and just the perfect amount of spice although the Atomic are also good for the more adventurous folk. My go to meal is the 20 piece with half Atomic and half Cajun and I rarely leave disappointed. If I had one complaint regarding the wings here it would be the size of the wings themselves are quite hit or miss. I often get wings that are so small that you do feel a bit let down but more often than not they are decently sized and full of flavor. This particular location also seems to have a bit of an issue at times with over saucing the wings but it's better to have too much than not enough. I look forward to coming here many more times to come to satiate my never ending hunger for delicious wings. I wish they would open a location in the Anaheim area but until they do this will continue to be one of my go to locations. read more
