To me, Wingstop is synonymous with their Lemon Pepper Chicken Wing, which they've perfected. When I get 20 wings from here, 12 of them will be lemon pepper, 4-6 of them would be original hot, and 4-6 will be something else (BBQ sauce, mango habanero, or whatever else I'm craving). Wingstop is a three-star wing (OK per yelp's scale) as it's quick, reliable, and delicious. This particular location, however, is four stars (good per yelp's scale) to me because I can always count on them getting my order right. To celebrate National Ranch Day, Wingstop was offering a free cup of ranch dressing with any purchase on that day only. National Ranch Day was on a Monday this year, and Wingstop offers 80 cent boneless wings on Mondays as well as Tuesdays. Even though I much prefer bone-in wings over boneless wings, sometimes, you just need to switch things (or wings, in this case lol) up every now and then. If you know me and Buffalo wings, you know I always choose ranch over bleu cheese. Unfortunately, there is not a Buffalo flavor at Wingstop, but the Original Hot flavor resembles the Buffalo quite a lot, though I'm sure denizens of that city would disagree as much as they disagree with my choice of dipping sauce for wings lol. I already had a small dinner prepared at home, so I didn't want a whole order of wings. At first, it appears that the smallest number of wings you can order is 10, but when I added the ranch to my bag first, I was then asked if I'd like to add something else to my order. That's when I saw I could add 5 boneless wings for $4, choosing one flavor, Original Hot in my case. I arrived within the 5-minute window of when my order should be ready for pickup, and lo and behold, it was ready for pickup. Wingstop also offers forks upon request, and wanting to keep my hands clean, I asked for one before feasting on my wings. The boneless wings were relatively small in size, which probably explains why I got 7 pieces instead of 5. So I definitely appreciate them giving me more than I paid for. However, more doesn't always mean better. What do I mean here? The Original Hot is one of Wingstop's most popular flavors, but unfortunately, I was kind of underwhelmed with the Original Hot flavor here. Granted, I did drown each wing with ranch, but I barely tasted any Buffalo sauce at all! They were only sparingly used on my wings, so I doubt I would have enjoyed these wings much, if at all, without the ranch. Also, the boneless wings were pretty soft and mushy. The ranch didn't stick onto the wings very well, so whereas I was able to use an entire cup of lemon pepper dipping sauce for 5 bone-in wings at a different location, I could only consume just over half a cup of ranch for 7 boneless wings at this location. As a whole, the Original Hot boneless wings weren't bad, but now I wish I had spent an extra dollar for the bone-in version instead as I'm certain I would have liked them more. Nevertheless, the boneless wings and the ranch were tasty enough to make for a good pre-dinner snack. I especially liked how the ranch was nice and tangy here. The manager working the dinner shift has a bit of a standoff-ish attitude that when I asked her for a fork, I almost thought she was going to bark back at me. Luckily, she didn't, but she wasn't as welcoming as the manager working the lunchtime shift, who was much more jovial. She also took my order on a previous visit when I ordered a 15-piece Meal for 2, which includes a large side. The side doesn't necessarily have to be fries, but I chose the Buffalo Ranch Fries, normally a 70 cent upcharge from the seasoned fries. I asked for the sauces to be on the side, but for some reason, they thought "sauces on the side" meant "omit the fries entirely", thus awkwardly halving my meal for 2 into a meal for 1. At least the bone-in wings were nice, crispy, and flavorful! Much better than what I had at BWW! I was able to recoup those missing fries, but went with Louisiana Voodoo this time. Those were pretty good and also worth a 70-cent upcharge, but I didn't like how the fries themselves were too soft and not crispy even though the menu description says they should be. I may have to ask for the fries to be cooked well done next time I order fries. The 15-piece Meal for 2 comes with two drinks, and I do appreciate being offered a drink carrier to carry both drinks out with ease. They have a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine where you can choose from a multitude of different flavors, and there's only one dispenser in the machine rather than one for each different drink. You can find this Wingstop on the northeast corner of Carson and Woodruff in the same building as Glory Days Sports Grill, One Sip Boba Tea House, and WaBa Grill. Same plaza as Vons. There's ample parking in front, and there's parking in the rear as well. This is the third Wingstop I've patronized this year, and I think this location is the best of the three, but not good enough for me to award a 4th star. They are just inconsistent all around, but the employees do exhibit better work ethic here save for the missing fries, a major oversight that I have to repeat in this review as a reminder of how bad they can mess up a customer's order. read more

I come here all the time and everyone is super nice especially the manager but this woman that started working there last few months was extremely rude to my wife the other day. She just got off work and picked up our wings, when she politely told her we got large drinks instead of small the woman snapped at her then snatched the cups out of my wife's hands. This is really not cool and my wife was very nice about it she could have complained and got her in trouble. But I am going to complain on her behalf because that's beyond being rude it's physically confrontational. Haven't been to wing stop in a decade, so despite the not so good reviews, we thought we'd try it anyways. The pros: service was great! Their online ordering system is efficient and our food was ready when we got there. The cons: Every wing flavor taste like chemicals because well it's a franchise that uses chemicals, lol. We got the All In Bundle. 16 boneless wings, 6 tenders, 1 large fry and 3 dipping sauces. Wing Sauces: 1) Hawaiian taste like the sauce they use in the lean cuisine frozen meals...yeah meh! 2) Lemon pepper: literally taste like lemon dish soap. 3) Original hot: this is your best bet. The most decent flavor like a buffalo sauce. 4) Spicy Korean: meh not very Korean and chemically. Fries: are the best thing on the menu IMO. How does this wingstop location keep getting worse? I order ahead, arrive to the location and pay for my food. They tell me 18 minutes. I sit in the lobby listening to the employees complain about their personal lives for 45 minutes. I go up to see how much longer until my food is ready and guess what? My order has been sitting there for the last 30 minutes. No notice or anything. The best part is when I get home I realize the great staff forgot to include a fry! I went in for the Wingstop and picked up an order Earlier. Without checking it I went home. When I realized it was incorrect. I immediately called back. I spoke with the Marco. He claimed to be the manager in charge. I can tell early on in the conversation he was not wanting to listen. When I Explained the problem. He instantly took the defensive. Wingstop has always been a favorite place of mine while choosing where to dine in-- they have a vast amount of flavors and choices of sides, it's not just wings. I traveled to Wingstop on March 8 around the time of 3:30 pm and Enrique's enthusiasm was completely through the roof. It almost felt as if I was dining in my own home-- overall, he was extremely nice: a great wing expert. Additionally, he had superb communication skills-- he even advised us of his personal favorite and when we couldn't decide he gave us time to finally make up our minds. He even gave us an estimated wait time and our food came out even before our predicted 20 minute wait. Lastly, I noticed the overall cleanliness of the restaurant was beyond my scale-- they had workers there cleaning and sanitizing which is very important especially in this current era. I ordered online for pick-up and was in and out in a heart beat! Luis asked when I walked in if I was arriving for pick-up and I replied with a yes, in which he immediately grabbed my bag and my birthday coupon (free large season fries), and removed it off my bill. One of the girls rang me up, and I paid. Was out in no time, and was happy to see my order all set & ready to go within 10-15 minutes of me placing it online. The only downfall was how much of the hot sauce liquid ended up on the bottom of the bag (could've been because I was holding the bag up-right inside of to the side). The spicy buffalo sauce actually ended up making the bottom of the bag soggy, which then created a tare/hole in the bag, so when I walked into my home, the liquid ended up leaking all onto my pants, a part of my shoe, and onto a rug. What a mess! It was practically impossible to get out of each one, and unfortunately I have to buy a new pair of soccer pants because it did not fully come out. I'm not sure who is to blame. It would've been nice if they told me to carry it a particular way, but then again I guess it could have been expected to happen. I wish I had the bag double-bagged!
