We stopped here as a pit stop on our way to the Forum, to get some dinner before the show. It's an easy exit off the 405 on Bellflower, and not too far. Our two meals with frosties plus a batch of cookies was the same price as one personal pizza at the Forum! The woman who waited on us was super helpful, and we're glad she convinced us to get the cookies, lol. We ate on the way, saving us time. It was fairly easy to get back out to Bellflower from the side street exit, and get back on our way on the 405. I'll have to remember this location on future LA trips. read more

Yesterday I visited Wendy's off Bellflower and had a really great experience from start to finish. The location was easy to find, and while the parking lot is on the smaller side, we had no trouble finding a spot. Inside, the facility was clean and well-maintained, which always makes a good first impression. What really stood out, though, was the staff. We were helped by a wonderful woman who I believe may have been a manager. She had such a great attitude and made the whole ordering process smooth and enjoyable. She took the time to help me decide what to order and even recommended the cookies... and I'm so glad she did because they are absolutely amazing! I ordered the $10 combo, which came with a burger, drink, chicken nuggets, and fries. This is a great deal for the amount of food you get. I also upgraded to a chocolate Frosty and added brownie batter swirl, and that combo was irresistible. Everything we ordered came out fresh and tasted great. I also want to give a special shoutout to the person who rang us up. I wish I had caught her name because she was incredibly friendly and truly made the experience even better. We were headed to see Electric Call Boy at Kia Forum and this is a great place to stop for food if you don't want to pay concert prices. Overall, this Wendy's delivered on all fronts, fresh food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely a location I'd come back to again! read more

On a separate occasion, I ordered a large breakfast combo at a Wendy's franchise. Unfortunately, due to staff uncleanliness and poor-quality ingredients, the franchise poisoned me with its food. I spent the next few days ill, a direct result of this serious health code violation. I reported the incident immediately afterward. The delay in resolving the issue was caused by miscommunication between employees and management. Eventually, the management apologized and offered a meal replacement that was insufficient. Several months later, after working through the trauma of being poisoned at a supposedly trustworthy public establishment, I finally mustered the courage to return. My card was still in good standing. Upon entering the restaurant, I was treated disrespectfully by Veronica, who claimed to be the manager. I observed her selectively displaying unprofessional behavior--sometimes being solemn and bland, other times aggressive. When I approached the counter, she did not greet me, despite greeting others beforehand. I requested a breakfast wrap combo; she yelled that they do not do that, then later claimed it was not breakfast hours, even though it was between 10:30 and 11:00 am Her attitude was shocking and disorienting. I asked about the menu options because I couldn't see it (my sister had stolen my glasses). When I mentioned I am a vegetarian and asked for vegetarian-friendly suggestions, Veronica yelled that they could make something but didn't know what, and that it would take a long time. I chose combo #5. Veronica then became verbally aggressive, questioning whether I would eat the meat and accusing me of claiming to be a vegetarian. She interrogated my ordering choices and attempted to bully me. When I tried to pay, she repeatedly yelled that Wendy's does not accept cards, even though she had not initially looked at my card. After finally inspecting the card, she continued to yell, questioning where I got it, who gave it to me, and when I received it, acting as if she were ICE. Instead of professionally stating her lack of proficiency in Wendy's Franchise knowledge and or that their location does not honor Wendy's "We appreciate you... Opps! Our Apologies" card she turned it into a one-sided gang member-like theatrics. I'm not impressed. This location is filthy, and the staff's behavior is dangerously unprofessional. Aesthetic is dingy. Veronica's conduct demonstrates a lack of stability and professionalism that poses a serious concern. My personal recommendation is not go here as long as Veronica is permitted to run a business that she doesn't even understand. read more

Worse experience. Manager is strict on workers, we couldn't take order at window, made employee come out and take order. Employee cashiering didn't even scan my app correctly, so I didn't get my free 6 piece nugget. I paid the full price when the point of going was for the deal. Should've told me it wasn't working or something. Instead charged me the full price along with my other two items. No staff were friendly except the person who had to go outside in the cold by management. Nuggets were thin and fries were old. I love most of the workers here as they are hard and patient workers. However, the older gentlemen is extremely rude and is someone I am assuming to be the manager/shift leader. Our drive through order tonight was sorely lacking in quality. We discovered upon arriving home that the chicken nuggets were overcooked, the fish sandwich was so overcooked as to almost be fish jerky. Conversely, the French fries were definitely limp, and cold. The food here is good. Fast food but serviceable. The staff is mostly amazing. The kids they have working there are kind, considerate and helpful, and always treat people well. The one star is for the manager. She's an older lady who acts like she's too good to serve anyone and everyone but her is always wrong. She's the cause of every issue we have EVER had at this location and honestly we only come by because we hope she'll be out of there and letting the team run the show like the pros they are. Every time I've heard her voice on the drive through radio I've known something was going to be missing or wrong from my order. Fast food is a rough and thankless job but she gives the impression that she hates everyone who walks in or orders, and we're going to skip this spot when we're going for a cheap-ish, mostly good burger. Come here a lot after school and the service never disappoints. Wendy's in my opinion is on par quality wise with higher end fast food establishments. Ever since they improved their fries it encourages people to come back. My only complaint is the last few times I have been here their freestyle machine has been out of many of the sodas. read more

COVID19: 9:55 pm. Drive thru only. I have to say, it must not easy working late at a fast food joint. But, 5 stars go to the guy at the window, Daniel. The guy was full of energy, professional and polite. Two thumbs up on that guy. Now for the the food. The fries were obviously heat lamp warm. You would think with as many cars as they had in line that they would constantly be making fresh batches of fries. But, not so. The triple burger ( I know...a triple burger at 10 at night is a heart attack waiting to happen). The meat seemed dry and maybe even a little old compared to what I've had here in the afternoon. Came here to try the new Italian Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich. Now I know part of this is my fault. I arrived at 9pm but my friend had just told me about the sandwich she saw in the commercial and since I love mozzarella I wanted to try it. I got it as a combo with fries and a drink. The food was ready very quickly which I thought was good but as soon as I bit into the sandwich I realized it was a mistake. The mozzarella portion was lukewarm. Not hot at all. The chicken was extremely hot! I was surprised with how hot the chicken was that it wasn't helping warm up the cheese. I even waiting a few minutes after the first bite to see if the heat from the chicken would help the cheese. It didn't. I'm not sure if it was a mistake and they forgot to warm up the mozzarella but as it was served it tasted very gross. I would not recommend it. Also, maybe at night they are not as on top of the heating protocol for the food. Will not be going back and would not recommend going late at night. read more

What made me need to write this review was because McDonalds just had a rare deal on the McCrispy chicken sandwich for half price but that price was even too high a price because it was horrible. Crispy was the true part of the name. All I could taste was the crispy coating, NOT any JUICY CHICKEN. And even worse was the gristle that made the very little thin piece of chicken tough and tasteless.
