Jack in the Box - Lunch - Fast Food Near Me - Long Beach, California

I should have stuck with my gut from previous experiences at this location and kept driving, but I wanted some curly fries. I went ahead and got a couple tacos while I was there. When I got to the window the guy asked me three times if the food was for me. It should have raised red flags. None of the food tasted great, maybe old oil, but the tacos were all wrong. Saying they were old and soggy would be generous, but I was scared to eat them. I don't recommend eating at this location. read more

I visit this location about once a week as it is on my way home from work. Approximately once a week I work a late shift so I'm grabbing something on the way home. At this particular Jack in the Box there is a cashier that is particularly rude and short with his communication. So I have decided not to go there anymore. He always is there on the night shift when I visit. Like tonight 6/25/26 at 10pm. I don't know what his name is but definitely does the owner a disservice with his customer service and general attitude. I don't want a place that treats their customers like that to be preparing any food I may eat read more

The person in the drive-through was extremely nice and very patient with me as I was taking my time trying to figure out what I want and what the most healthiest option would be since I haven't had Jack-in-the-Box in a while. The food was made fresh in the establishment seemed extremely clean from the outside read more

Great service today! I have food sensitivities, so my order can be a bit of a pain, but the cashier, Jose, was extremely kind and helpful. He even came back to the window to double check that my order was correct. This man deserves a raise! read more

It does not surprise me to see such a low rating. The woman that was working the window tonight around 9pm was so rude. she could barley speak or understand English. Witch is not unusual in California. but she got an attitude because she kept getting my order wrong. This is not the first time that i had to deal with this lady. The managers need to either retrain her or keep her away from customers. every time i deal with her she has a bad attitude. No one wants to eat food from a person who obviously don't like her job. read more

I get off work and I get cold food. How about stop being lazy and heat up my bun? Maybe also use THE RIGHT bun that's usually on the buttery jack burger? It's not that hard, yall suck. read more

Terrible service, got all the way home to find that they had given me someone else's order, now they won't answer the phone. The wrong order I got was complete garbage, and not even half the price I paid for my order. Since, they don't answer the phone I will have to contact my bank to dispute the charge. Poor way of handling business. read more

I wish I could give a complete review of the food and ambiance but I was to occupied waiting over 10 minutes for the only cashier to count his register. I know change of shift happens and the cashier needs to count his/her money but to have one person counting for over 10 minuets on a Saturday during rush hour breakfast is terrible. read more

Just went through the drive thru at this location because we have not had Jack in the Box in such a long time. I wanted a Jumbo Jack, plus we just received those coupons with our weekly circulars. Works for me--satisfy a craving and add some savings. It's been years since I've had a Jumbo Jack. When did they switch to a brioche bun? So fancy... back in the day, Jumbo Jacks were sloppily made, with the small meat patty a sad piece of lettuce and tomato consumed by a bun, and wrapped in paper. Now they come in a container, meat is proportional to the bun, and I got two slices of tomato and a nice lettuce leaf. Drive through went quickly. Service is to be expected at any fast food joint--quick and just quick. I had no expectations other than getting our order right and getting it fast; hence, FAST FOOD. *bravo* employees of this Jack in the Box. read more

AVOID! Never order food from here, especially for delivery... it takes forever and it is never delivered on time. They prioritize drive thru and leave you waiting for your order to be delivered. Terrible service. None of the employees care. You'd think for a place that seemed over staffed during a non peak time that the service would be better. AVOID! read more

It's Jack in the Box. Not much to say but the drive thru experience that day wasn't the best.

Their customer service SUCKS and I have given them multiple chances to redeem themselves because it's the closest to my job. I have also gone to this restaurant at various times of day, and the level of customer service was the exact same, POOR! Additionally, this has been going on for a looooonnnnggggg time and changes need to be made! Signed, Disappointed Patron read more

I figured I could just get down and walk right in to pick up food since I've seen teenagers at the school down the street come in here as the drive thru line was long. It's 12:30pm on a Friday and the doors are locked and no one wanted to let me in so I could get my mobile order and could be on my way for today. So I hopped back in my car and waited. The food is usual standard fare but the deals can be pretty nice if you really wanted to budget. read more

This place seems to always be a hit or miss. Just recently I was here ordering in the drive thru with family and our experience was very poor. From the moment we ordered through the microphone, to the interaction with the man working the window, to the point where I had to park and walk in because they screwed up the order, this place left a bad taste in our mouths in terms of service. As usual, food tasted good, albeit very fast food-ish if that makes sense. I rarely ever go to eat at Jack In The Box because of how unhealthy and not fresh everything is, but the night we came was an exception due to my family member arriving late at Long Beach Airport and needed something in her stomach. Honestly, I probably won't be coming back here any time soon based on my last experience. Wish In N Out was open 24 hours!! read more

The one on March Lane in Stockton, CA connected to the gas station was probably the worst experience I've had at a Jack in the Box. Not only was I visually and obviously having a bad day, but the staff of all grown women talking and laughing instead of taking my order and making my food was a bit irritating. I probably sound dramatic, but when I finally got home my loaded tacos were plain, and I got different sauces EXCEPT for the barbecue sauce that I asked for to go with my nuggets. read more

Good service, quiet, preparation fast, quality, temperature and taste of food all good only bad thing is the soda fountain was out of a lot of sodas which was weird considering I don't see many people come in this specific restaurant read more

The managers are generally rude, mean and discriminatory! Do not go here to be treated right! Alex manager very rude. Not coming back to this store! read more

The 1 star is for our drive thru worker who was basically doing everything alone (she gets 5 stars) The 3 other women behind the counter were huddled together talking and one of them had her MASK BELOW HER CHIN AND EATING with her fingers, no utensil, less than 3 feet from the food bays!!! We will not be returning to this Jack in the Box. Before COVID I wouldn't have expected to see an employee eating behind the counter but it is obvious that this Jack in the Box does not take safety procedures seriously. Disgusting no matter the year or time! read more

Get your hours straight, you close at random times on random days. We aren't on Island time you fucktards.

I know, it's fast food and, to most, it means it shouldn't even be considered food. BUT, when service and food is consistent instead of crappy one day and glorious crap on another day, then I'm impressed enough to review them. The bf and I have parked here before to get food. Big mistake, and never doing that again. Basically, there's very few parking spaces, and there's only one way in and one way out without damaging your car or private property. We had to go around the drive-thru with very angry looks coming our way when people thought we were cutting in line. Or maybe they were embarassed to be in the drive thru line, I don't know. Anyways, we made that mistake of parking 5 years ago, and have only done drive-thru since. The bf tends to get those ultimo tacos, or a chicken sandwich, or the grilled chicken salad. I mean, whatever you get, it will NOT be healthy. Every time he has had their food, no issues with the order, and it always tastes good. For me, I've had a number of their sandwiches, but they are super salty! So, I either go with a basic cheeseburger, stuffed jalapenos, or a salad. Price-wise, it's fine. Fast food is cheap and is bad for you, so you're getting what you paid for. Service has been crazy awesome. You HAVE to give props on whoever is running the drive thru window because they are normally doing 3 orders at once, moving and talking and reading all at the same time. If it's past 9 pm, I think it's only one person that has to do all of that without any assistance, plus maybe even make the food. They've never been rude, they've always been super-attentive, and our orders have always been correct. Thank you, drive thru workers! Respect! I still live in the area, so the bf and I will likely be back during one of our late work shifts.... read more

Usually I'm like jacks is jacks but tonight I'm leaving work and my kids texted me saying they wanted a snack ? I'm like ok so I pull up to give my order and from the start the young lady that was taken my order was friendly not rude sounded happy to be there. When I pulled up to the window she read back my order to ensure it was correct I paid and I thanked her right before we left I asked for her name . Management @ jacks here on palo verde just would like you guys to acknowledge that staff like Mariah is what keeps individuals coming back instead of going next door to McDonald's- Date I was there was 3/5/22 around 9pmish - Again great job Mariah way to acknowledge the customer and ensure order was correct - Job well done . read more

We went thru the drive-thru at 10:30pm and the guy at the window asked us to go around because we had a big order. We parked in the parking lot "around" because the guy at the window didn't specify that we had to fall back in line?!? So we waited 10mins and no one comes out, so we fall back in the line. Seriously? We had already paid so we couldn't leave but we waited, no joke, 45mins for our food! And to top it all off, our food was COLD when we got home!!! The guy at the window gave us some courtesy dessert but all we wanted was our food! Horrible! Don't go to this Jack's. read more

I wasn't gonna make a review about this business, but sheeesh is all I can say. From racial comments in Spanish(as if I don't speak the language myself) to forgetting my fries & me finding hair in my sandwich. Not gonna throw any names out but I Forsure don't recommend this spot to anyone. Rather go to the jack in the box in the hood cause Atleast they'll give me everything I ordered in a timely manner. Not even worried about the fries or the few dollars but the lack of professionalism says a lot about an establishment. Waited a long time even when we were the only customers in the drive thru read more

Why would I review this random Jack in the Box? Because it's the only one that ever gets my order right, no matter what time of day. During Lent, I make it a point to come here if I can't find anywhere else with a quick fish fix. The best part about ordering the fish and chips here? The real "chips" I order the plain potato wedges instead of fries. (no cheddar or bacon or anything - yuck.) and it's always cooked fresh and crisp. Perfect! Most other locations will charge you the full price of a bacon/cheese order, but not this location! Just ask them to "sub small chip" and they'll take care of you ;) p.s. the fish really is pretty good here. Better than McD's next door. You know their filets caused the near extinction of the type of fish they use for their O'Fishes. read more

The service and food here is good but you better get it to go because the inside is a mess. This place is pretty small as well so it might get crowded since its close to other busniness and a high school. Only time I really come here if its for take out or drive thru. read more

Jack in the Box - Oreo shake - Fast Food Near Me - Long Beach, California

I just ordered a pannidos turkey bacon and cheddar sandwich combo at the drive thru. I get back to work to find that the pannido was smashed into my bag and did not have any bacon on it. What a waste of money. Never coming back to this one again. read more

I'm not one to brag...well... OK... only when I have great reason to and boy do I have a great reason. So here it is from me to all you "Lover's of Chocolate Shakes" You need search no more, The Holy Grail of Chocolate Shakes has been found!!! I hold in my hand the Golden Chalice and it is filled with the most mind blowing, perfectly mixed chocolate syrup to vanilla ice cream ratio. Then the all important creamiest/thickness straw test; yes, you know the one where you try and try to get that first sip of shake but your eyes start to bulge and your cheeks start to concave as they meet in the middle of your mouth but you know if you stop now you will never taste what awaits you at the end of that perfectly sized straw. So with one last little bit of air you have you try with all your might and it hits. First it's cold perfect creaminess awakens your mouth then your tast buds start jumping for joy as the taste of the delightful chocolate awakens them. Once you taste it you can't stop, so you sip and sip and sip wishing and hoping the moment would never end but alas the slurping sound echoes in your ears bellowing out the words "it's over, it's over...until next time" As you can see it has now become a bit of an addiction so I had mapped out all the JTB in Long Beach area and the surrounding cities BUT much to my dismay each and every other JTB has fallen short and missed the "Holy Grail" mark by a mile leading me back to Palo Verde. Yes, I know they say they're a franchise and they follow the same blah blah blah...but there are differences.Trust me. It's as if this JTB on Palo Verde has a God from Mount Olympus mixing Cloud 9 and calling it a Chocolate Shake. A very LARGE Chocolate Shake that is with Whip Cream;hold the Cherry please. I have had to become very creative alternating drive thru to walking in to asking others to pick one up for me. Hmmmmm, Yummy for my tummy,,,,, read more

On my lunch breaks I drive here to pick up a quick meal. When I order it's pretty "fresh" meaning nothing is wilted or soggy. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich today for lunch and the chicken was crispy, light, and flavorful. The sandwich also had tomatoes and lettuce that were fresh. Their teriyaki chicken bowl with egg roll combo is pretty good too. Big serving size and hot. The service at the drive-thru window is good and I always get my food pretty quickly. The parking lot is small and if you do decide to park here, beware that you might not be able to back up because a line could form behind your car and you won't be able to get out. read more

Extremely gross infestation of ants in the place. Super dirty. Staff here is rude. They suck at customer service. Don't come here. Would give 0 stars. read more

Great place. I come here often when pressed for time or heading home. For Breakfast I normally get the Breakfast Platter. It is always scrumptious and filling. However, if I am not coming for breakfast I order the Homestyle Ranch Chicken Club. It is my absolute favorite thing on the menu. Each bite is heavenly. The workers are nice too. I took off one start because multiple times they have messed up more order, but in the end they always fix it and everyone is happy. Love this place! read more

Jack in the Box - Small Box of Fries - Fast Food Near Me - Long Beach, California

The guy at the window at night is always unpleasant. He ignores you when you say thank you, and last night when we were there, all the employees were outside, and he yelled at me, because I couldn't hear him ask me to wait. The food is usually good, when they get the order right (which is the only reason they get 2 stars, rather than one). We almost always have to go back, because they leave stuff out, so remember to check your bags before you leave. They also never apologize for messing up your order, and never do anything to make up for the inconvenience. read more

Either get new employees, new management, or just shut the whole place down. I'm tired of them and their weird ass antics. One if you're website says you're closing at 3am, & i come to the drive through window at around 1:30am and you tell me you're cleaning up the store as I'm waiting through the drive through. Then you're the problem and need to fix the shit. Homeboy didn't even say "we're closing" until i asked how long do i have to wait for the store to be cleaned. Just fucking say next time sorry were closing instead of wasting MY & other peoples times. Seen a couple cars ahead of me & wondered why they drove off all pissed off. Now i know. Do something about this shit. Because that's annoying when people think you're open & want to simply grab a quick bite i gave 2 stars instead of one because i come here a lot during the DAY which is obviously better. Night shift though; highly recommend you get that shit TOGETHER read more

I ordered a double buttery cheeseburger. What I got was a sad burger with no cheese one patty and nothing but ketchup on it. There was also nobody else in line at the time for what I now know is for a great reason. The food quality is terrible too. read more
